    It seems like its moving faster than the beats indicated. Im a little confused by the slash lines.

      Hey Alan, the slashes here simply represent the beats. So if you have Em shown as the chord, for example, and a measure with 4 slashes, it would mean that you play the Em chord for 4 beats. A good way to start to play along is to simply grab the chord shown and strum down strums for every slash you see. When you're ready, you can also add in your own strum pattern if you like. If you see a measure has two chords in it, like C and D in this song, you would split that measure up between the two chords and play C for two beats and D for two beats. One Slash = One Beat.

      @@MusicMatchr yes, I understand, but some are irregularly spaced which threw me off and the blue line seems to move faster than the beats. but its coming

      No worries Alan! Don't let the spacing throw you off. The changes in spacing can occur if there are more lyrics in that particular measure but each slash should be treated as one beat no matter the spacing that you see. Keep up the good practice!
