- A short documentary style piece detailing my experience as a cadet for 6 years in the ATC- I particularly enjoyed putting this piece together as it was quite personal and a fun excuse to reflect on some of my memories from my time in the corps.

I am a 61 year old ex ATC Cadet and I have so many great memories from my time in my Squadron and Flight.
I had my first ever experience flying in Chipmumk Tmk. 10's over the Isle of Wight, gliders at West Malling and helicopters at RAF Shawbury.
I met a group of like minded people that became really good friends, who went through many similar activities that the original creator has and enjoy all of them, no matter how wet,muddy or tired we got.
I'd love to be just turning 13 again, so that I could do it all over once more.

Wow this video is just amazing. pure quality. We had some air cadet guys on the same base as us. I was a senior cadet with 11th flight AAC. Time out a few months back. Good days!
Well done mate I was in the air cadets in the 1970s 1451 sq haverhill suffolk and I also went to Holland and done the 100 miles when I left I was a SGT and then moved to canada with my parents . Good work .....
I am ex atc also in the 90's for 7.5 years and I agree the cadets is an amazing experience.
I honestly live raf cadets, will definitely be joining the university air squadron when I leave in about a years time 🥲

I have Been a cadet for 3 years, my advice is just to follow orders. You will go far
lucky! We canadian air cadets never get to fire C7s or SA80s!

@@TH54_Official True. I mean, we get to do orienteering, we got regional CTCs, but still, SA80S!

I have put in a request to join air cadets and im 11 years old and i will be joining when i am 12, my dream job is to be either a Raf pilot or an aeronautical engineering do you think this could help out
yes it will as it teaches you life skills and how to fly a plane
but i would suggest if you have the money to spend get a private pilot licence
How’re you joining at 12 if the minimum requirement is 13+ and Year 8…
