      I prefer the double layed flowers with the wavy piping motion, too. Adds more depth and dimension.

    This looks so awesome, Hani! I will have to try and make them. Do you know why wax paper is better than parchment paper when it comes to piping these flowers?

    • @Hanielas
      @Hanielas  9 лет назад

      ***** Thanks Miki, I don't really think it's better, it's a lot cheaper that's for sure and maybe because it is thicker, it curls up easier than wax paper.

    How do you manage to get this beautiful red colour Haniela? I love your videos, projects, your voice and your generosety :D

    • @Hanielas
      @Hanielas  9 лет назад +1

      Karen Kjartansdóttir Thank you Karen. I use Americolors food Coloring. I color icing with red to the point when it is not pink nor it is deep red, then I let it rest overnight or even for as long as 2 days and color deepens dramatically.

    The are beautiful!! Can these flowers be done directly on the sugar cookies? Also can green leaves be placed around the pointsettias? If so, should I pipe them first or after the pointsettias are piped?

    • @Hanielas
      @Hanielas  4 года назад

      Hi Rachel, these can be piped directly on cookies, you'll most likely need to turn cookies few times when piping the flower petals.Pipe green leaves first then red petals.

    Wow very beautiful & you're so creative 👏🏼 question, if I make 1 month ahead of time how do I store them?? Fridge?

    • @Hanielas
      @Hanielas  8 лет назад

      +Alma83sb In a plastic container, between layers of paper towel and throw in some rice so absorbs the moisture if there is any, or if you have food grade silica gel packets use those, they work great.
