- Going over the 250$ DLC pack drama for Escape From Tarkov and comparing the official version with a free mod I've been using for the past years which lets you play on a private server.

171CAD$ because I had EoD and upgraded so its pretty much the 100USD$ (135CAD$) plus tax.. You CANNOT play PvE if you haven't spent 250$USD on the game (Update: they are making the game free for 6 months for EoD owners then you'll have to pay 50USD$ .... yay...)

@@warkuz9157 That's why we found a Coop SPT mod and are having fun dieing to Crazzy ai because they always aim for the head.
Just for the record, by default in vanilla SPT PMC's usually do have some sorta guard/boss AI, but there are alot of mods to make them have their own ai thought processes, and then some
Like Sain and what not.
Sain is such a good AI overhaul. Sometimes they play better than real people I swear.

I feel like on the standard difficulty, SPT with SAIN + SWAG + Donut is definitely easier than EFT. However, as a pretty casual gamer, it does feel a lot more fun.
Rarely do you die if you don’t do anything stupid. And you usually have a chance to fight back even if bots got a jump on you. However, if you try to pick stupid fights and 1v3 who know where you are, you will still die.
But yeah, as a casual player, this feels a lot more forgiving and fun.
easier is the wrong word. it’s more fair. this is because the ai overhauls stop bots from seeing you through objects and having perfect accuracy.
you can mod the bots to be as easy or as hard as you want, but it will always be fair.
I would love the Coop mod my wife wants to learn how to play and in general Play tarkov without the BS
BRO you can farm offline mode and then modify your auth and move all information across into online pvp so you can farm offline mode and move all the items into online mode by just switching the auth on your end
and get banned instantly as all loot will be unmarked lol

i want to use my free offline kits for online just so i can pvp and not have to do bs quests and bullshit i literally just wanna kill stuff. arena could've been where i do this but the devs were too brain dead to make tarkov but with cod game modes and loadout system and killed their own $35 game on release.
But - SIT works not that well. e.g: when the host dies in raid, all other players will be back to the menu as well. (this was last year - unless there's a 'fix')
There is MPT (project fika) but don't know is that any better.
@@CaDzA818 Works like a charm. If you die (even if you host the game for others), you start to "spectate". After all the players dies or extracts, everyone returns to menu.
They just released Arena and nothing. Its buggy as shit. Waiting on Grey Zone and Vigor maybe. I stopped playing altogether.

@@JediMasterYoda66 You'll have no support from the SPT Community, and it's very tricky (from what I understand) to pirate EFT and have it work with SPT due to SPT's checks for the files at the proper locations with the proper files (which some are PC Specific I believe)
BSG struck down the Nexusmods page for Tarkov unfortunately so mods aren't allowed at all still by BSG lmao

eternal is right. SIT is a newer version of the mod which allows you to play coop. I figured out how to make it work with my brother :) good luck figuring it out, they might patch it and make it easier soon if they don't get ceased and desist

BSG have already known about SPT AKI, I'm pretty sure. That's why you need to own a copy of the game to be able to use the mod. I might be wrong but I believe I remember reading that years ago. Apart from that, its all fair use content and the gameplay is mine :) I'll let people know if this video gets striked cause we never know with RUclips's claiming system.. lol
@@SaiQcTV firstly, you do not need to own a copy of the game to play SPT. Secondly there have been many cases of BSG copy striking channels for this exact thing.
BSG put out an official statement to "let them do it" i believe it's to draw enough free publicity to the mods so that they can take legal action. Sadly most of the player base has taken that bait and it's now going through the casual player base.
@@notinterested8452Yeah the official spt requires a legit version installed on your System to play. It will literally boot you out of the game if you don't. There is a completely different pirate version that doesn't need it, but it has nothing to do with spt. That one is illegal and a crime. And playing spt it talking about it is not Copyright infringement due to fair use. If BSG strikes his channel they are in the wrong, just like Nintendo used to do a while back.

He's not risking anything. Unless he's stupid and opens the spt server while having bsg's game launcher open. Literally just make sure everything's closed and you should be okay I think that's the same with GTA I may be wrong about that but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing. Honestly that's not even a guarantee you'll get banned how bad their anti-cheat is

The problem that they put themselves into is that they put themselves in a corner where everyone loves spt now instead of kind of shunning it. They can't do anything because if they do something then everybody else will go to the next thing tarkov will become nothing without its players without players it becomes basically pubg the starting foundation but then other people move on to bigger and better things other than pubg things like fortnite. They put themselves in a seriously bad situation and I don't wish that this game would go away but it looks like it's in a turning point where people are realizing that they don't have to put up with bsg's crap anymore because there's more games coming out that are similar to the point where they don't have to think about whether or not they have a moral obligation to accompany that doesn't give a rat's ass.

I play it because i can't stand rats and cheater, also no wipes so you can chill with quests, try all kind of build with guns, i just wish it was optimized much better, longer match goes more Npcs spawn and tank performance...
As long as the software doesn't charge for bsg assets and you have to atheist purchase the base game, there wont be much bsg can do. Gta's 5M, Pokémon pokemmo all do this and there is nothing the companies can do since they are not selling someone else's stuff. Nikita has lost my trust. I paid for EoD and now he is saying oh too bad for you. I hope his "passion project" fails for the crimes he has committed to the community

You know you screwed up hard when the FREE mod for Tarkov, which only costs at least 50$, is generally better and more fun than your exclusive 250$ mode.

mmhmm it's not a new supporter edition, it's an all lawyers on deck edition to take action against the modding scene. i'm not going to defend BSG on the price but had I been playing a game like WoW i'd have spent around $1400 in the 7 years i've played tarkov.
At least for now, its approved and open. Theyre even going to implement mods into their own game

Yes, but if you follow instructions you won't have problems.
Only if you do something stupid like putting the SPT launcher in the same file as EFT
No you won't get banned unless you install SPT on top of your EFT Install and then launch EFT.
You'd really have to go out of your way to ruin your EFT Install, the SPT installer walks you through the correct way to install SPT.
Give it a shot I highly highly recommend it.
I've been playing SPT for years and it's only gotten better over the years and I'd consider it superior over the live EFT version.

@@mutdog2184 Yup exactly, meaning same location as your live install. You just need to make a seperate location to install SPT, I have mine on another drive entirely on a NVME for best load times

Unheard shouldn't be given to us EoD owners, they should give the extra content of the PvE which they said they will do now.

@@cinchmccoy That's not true, I play it everyday and you have to connect to an SPT server in order to even launch the game. I can post a vid on how it works for you if you want.

Its also not 250$ anymore and its also on EOD , SPT = Single Player Tarkov against BOTS with Mods, The other one is PvE COOP Mode. U cant Compare them XD
Mods are fine but its Boring af in a short amount of time cuz u just Play Alone against Bots. The Only good thing is, u just need the Standart Edition not EOD or the New Unheard to play SPT.

@zaster500 I Think YOU missed the point. It IS STILL 250$! They will give the PvE free for EoD Players for 6 months then you'll have to pay 50$ if you have EoD so instead of being 100$ for EoD owners, its a bit lower but the point is, DLC's are suppose to be FREE to ALL EoD owners. I even said at the end of the videos there's been updates while I was editing which is the update I just replied to you about :)

I said in the video I dont mind them putting a price tag on the PvE version but its the fact EoD owners were promised free DLC and BSG is playing around with the terminology to make it fit their story.
