I bought a bong from him that he signed and he also signed a $20 bill I had.. I asked him if we could step outside and smoke a joint that I had. He said he would love to but because of the laws in Missouri he couldn't.. ( This was about a year before he got incarcerated for selling bongs.) Awesome Experience.. Love Tommy Chong.. There was Red Bud, Gold Bud, Tai Stick, Blonde Lebanese Hash, Black African Finger Hash, Jamaican, Columbian, Occopulco Gold, etc. and it came in what was called Lids, not ozs and it was $30 to $40 a Lid. By around 1978 or 79 the price jumped up dramatically when Sencimilla started coming around. That was in Chicago where I was at.
