This is the best video walkthrough on RUclips for this thing. Good job. Gotta say, if I ever get around to building a studio, this will be one of the first things I buy.

Probably the most advanced fx processor ever made

I think yes and the most expensive also 😂

Do you have a tutorial specifically showing how to use the H9000 with Logic Pro? I'm using it together with a Lynx Aurora and I'm still trying to figure out several things regarding routing and signal flow when processing several tracks simultaneously. Thanks!

Im experiencing issues such as audio dropouts etc using the H9000 as an aggregate device with an UAD X16 under 12.4 Monterey. Are there any known issues with the M1 platform? It worked well under Intel. Any known issues with USB hubs such as the CalDigit TS4?

My Main DAW ASIO driver is the Focusrite PCIe card via Dante. Is there a way to easily integrate Eventide USB connection or will it be easier to add the eventide Dante card?

There is currently no iOS version of Emote, only the desktop app or plug-in

I have the StudioLive S32 digital mixer. Is it possible to use the H9000 as effect inserts on each channel of the SL32?

We haven't tested with that particular mixer using the H9000, but it looks like the mixer allows for external effects processors to be routed in. Please check the H9000 Manual and the S32 Manual to compare their I/O's to make sure that you can wire the H9000 into your mixer. If the Mixer has enough free Analog I/O's, you should be able to route the H9000 into the S32.

the thing that i'm most interested in wasn't talked about a lot, which are the analog dsub inputs (1-8). in addition to having the h9000 run as an fx loop, could it be used as the main A/D device in conjunction with a software mixer? i know the narrator indicated that it did not have monitoring capabilities (which is a shame) but if i were to patch each of the 8 inputs to a separate channel, then could i adjust eq and levels with the software?

Yes, it absolutely can act as an A/D device. The H9000 has exceptional A/D conversion and is designed to act as a digital patchbay if you need it to be.

I have the same question. Can the 8 channels of analog I/O on the Dsubs be used simultaneously with 2 channels of AD conversion? I use a analog mixer and would send the H9000 to the consoles 4 FX stereo sends and returns. Ideally I would send the 2 Buss (mix Buss) out either via AES or 2 channel analog from the Eventide.

@@greg8706 To your first question, no: an input (or output) is used exclusively in _either_ the "direct IO" page or as an input to (or an output from) algorithm(s) in an FX chain. But you can use the digital IO (AES or SPDIF or ADAT) simultaneously with your Dsub being used for mixer effects buses. Also, one input can be routed to multiple outputs (in direct IO page) or algorithm inputs (for FX).

The software needs updating. Categories / tags do not work. I’ve been using the H9000R for over two years and I hate how there’s no Undo and in general it is finicky. You do not mention how many Fx can be used. I thouht I could have 4 chains of four Fx each, but nope. Can I have 4 stereo ADAT pairs having four fx in series for each? What are the Chains, and why add more chains? It is all non-sense. The manual points out restrictions everywhere, and things will get better in future updates. Where are the updates? Only one update has ever been released. What a bloody joke! I’mma run to buy expansion cards now, wait.

Sorry for the issues you are having with your H9000. We are aware that some of the tags need to be fixed and we’d like to implement an undo feature. The H9000 can run 4 FX Chains with 4 algorithms each, and you can have 4 stereo ADAT pairs with 4 FX Chains and 4 algorithms routed in any configuration you like.
If you need assistance with configuring your routing, please email support@eventide.com and let us know what DAW and audio interface you are using, and our H9000 specialist would be happy to help.

@@EventideAudio I appreciate your response. I can't wait for the update, because I'm planning on using all my mastering converters through it (digital d25 to 8 XLR ) Let's see if can be the router. Thank you again.
