I’m so fucking proud! Kreider was a beast!

And his penalty earlier cost them a goal and, in reality, prevented the Rangers from scoring on the power-play. Could have been a two goal differential there.

He seems like he is very team oriented. Like a family oriented, catch each other when they fall, never giving up. Lots of coaches say it, his facial expressions make it seem genuine. But I wish I could see him have a talk in the locker room and see if he’s very powerful speaking wise and what he says to them literally.

My observation from the rebuild to date is that this NYR team evolved into a close knit group that play for one another, and they hate to loose.

When all is said and done this dude Laviolette should be on the Mt. Rushmore of NHL head coaches. Wins everywhere he goes. Wins playoff rounds whether he's got more talent or less talent than the opposition. When his teams get beat it's because the other team put it on them not because his team choked or mailed it in. If we had Laviolette two years ago we might now be gunning for a three-peat of Cups. LGR!

Nobody can tell me that last year and the last 2-3 years this team would not have lost this game. This coach deserves a lot of the credit and if we do become Stanley Cup Champions he will go down as one of the greatest coaches in team history.

My mention of his mistakes is to point out that it comes back to haunt teams that fail on opportunities to clear the blue-line when they have the opportunity. I always hold my breath, and Trouba was obvious in that regard during the game. Everybody needs to calm down on their comments.

I really still don’t get what happened. We were horrible through 50 minutes. Then somehow they turned into monsters and pinned Carolina in their end for the first time in the series. Great to know the team can forecheck as a team and press aggressively. I thought we were done.

What a Crap game. We all know who the NHL wanted to win this game. Twice in this series cross checking that is never called and how it help the Rangers in two games which they won,.. PLUS, a a lot luck involved.. How many times was the post hit.. That's nothing but LUCK.. However, in the next round, Swayman or Bobrovsky severely closes the goaltending gap. Non-hitting pond hockey may have worked in this round, but Boston or Florida are different animals. Line-up changes must be made, and they better commit to playing a full 60-minute game in order to assist Igor, or else we will get STEAM-ROLLED. Hoping to get "lucky bounces" or a convenient power-play chance late in the game is not a recipe for success.

Great win. We need to sit Gus and play Jones. Gus has been brutal and we need more 5v5 scoring. Jones is our second best offensive defenseman and it is not close. Fox is clearly hurt and a shell of himself. It is time.
