Johan
Thank you so much for answering my question! They're great tips and I was actually already timing how many hours go into a portrait of mine. So far about half of the dog took me a little over 5 hours and I charge 35€ to keep people interested. Your art always inspires me to learn more so I thank you for that
Thanks for answering my questions Leontine! I also went through multiple sharpeners until i found the holy grail, mitsubishi kh-20 manual crank sharpener, i think it was about 20 USD on amazon. You’ll never need another sharpener & they sharpen luminance pencils like a dream which is hard to find. Beautiful drawing! So glad you’re back!
I LOVE your videos. You have a great teaching style. I just have a quick question. Can you tell me how you avoid that graphite sheen that happens when using dark pencils for very dark areas such as the pupils. I find that it's nearly impossible to avoid no matter how delicately I build up the layers. Have you tried using charcoal for the darkest areas as a way of avoiding shine? Thanks!
Hello! Your videos are so helpful. I was wondering about your feelings towards working off reference photos that aren't the best. For example the eyes on the dog have a high glow from flash, or the flash causing strange contrasts on fur colors, or the picture is not very sharp and slightly blurred. What sort of tips do you have for working off of refrence photos like that in general
I have the most recent works listed on www.leontinevanvliet.com/wildlife.html But you can also find some older ones on www.etsy.com/shop/LeontinevanVlietArt :)
I watched your eye tutorial. I'd rather see an Instructional slower... hi speed without explanations of the process isn't helpful for me. you are very gifted

Beautiful photo. What do you use to make the white reflection very white? Is that the gel pen?
Wow! Beautiful! Tha k you for all your videos, efforts and art!🖼🎨✏️🖌🖊👝I clicked the link to your etsy but it didn't go through. 😞
Very nice do you have vids with drawing long fur 😊😊😊😊😊

Wow❤
The live streams that you did around Christmas were so fun. How about more live streams!?!
Yeah I loved those! Hopefully in the next couple of months I can find some free time to do them again:)
Where do you sell you paintings (what website?)
I have the most recent works listed on www.leontinevanvliet.com/wildlife.html But you can also find some older ones on www.etsy.com/shop/LeontinevanVlietArt :)
Thank you your art is just amazing
Why don't you use a stylus indentation tool for fur?
Sometimes I do, only when I see bright white whiskers for instance. In regular fur I prefer to use just pencils:)
Do you draw that dog a ful version
No I only drew the eye for this one:)
@@Leontinevanvliet how much time you need for this drawing
I call long does it take for you to draw your pictures in real life
