- Cull Obsidian is Marvel Snap's newest card, and he feels like an absolutely perfect fit for Thanos Lockjaw decks, potentially making one of the best decks in the game even better.

Power Estimate: This is a typical Thanos Lockjaw list with the addition of Cull Obsidian, making it one of the most proven and powerful decks in the game with an extra card that fits its gameplan incredibly well. Of course we'll need more data to make sure Cull Obsidian actually helps this deck, but it's almost certainly still incredible powerful with him in it, and maybe even a better than it was before.

You could try a zoo list with cull obsidian, zoo recieved some tools lately, even though wasn't enough to make it sky rocket

Another way to make this card amazing is if you can play it anywhere that has a 1 cost. Could go well with Ebony Maw
I wasn't super sure how to best utilize Cull when I got him, just bc I don't have caiera or black swan or thanos. So throwing him in a zoo deck still leaves me super vulnerable to kill mongers and stuff. And so I decided to just throw him in a deck and let Snap auto fill for me. . . it made the weirdest Auto deck I've ever seen. It's like the front half of a 1-Cost, Board filling Zoo deck (Squirrel Girl, Antman, Dazzler, Shanna, Kazar), but then the back half is this weird, like, lockdown/lockjaw deck (Lockjaw, Professor X, Valkyrie, Vision). You also have Cull Obsidian, Blue Marvel, and Spectrum. N like, I had no idea how to even start to figure that deck out. But it's so cool. Basically, you play wide and statty at the start of the game to take an early lead, try and capitalize off that early lead to lock down a location with Cull or Professor X, and then you transition into your late game of hitting Valkyrie plus some ongoing buff or just a surprise spectrum to secure your second lane. It's actually a crazy strategy that works a lot better than I expected 😂😂 (I'd consider cutting vision tho, as he often is just dead in hand. But there was one game where he carried bc he's literally your only other "powerhouse" outside of Cull. So idk, super weird deck, but worth trying imo)

I feel like she’s not that necessary for this deck and I didn’t get the season pass lol
But still, you’ll most likely have a stone in your starter hand anyway so I feel like it’s a missed opportunity for another great card.
Maybe Magik to get an extra turn to get a cheaper Skaar down AND you have the option to confuse your enemy by Reality Stoning your own Limbo and end the game early.

I wanted to go to infinity for more than a week. For someone who doesnt have tribunal, blob or skar its very difficult and luckily this card changed it.
I am betting Regis's video tomorrow on the Power Couples is just a deck with literally all of the combos. It would be very on brand at least lol

I think Cull makes Quicksilver relevant again as it guarantees a 1 drop in your hand without having to have to draw one! (I'm playing a deck with high powered 4 drops in a Zabu Sera Shell, with Quicksilver the only 1 drop)
But running Quicksilver makes your odds of drawing Cull Obsidian lower... And also then you have to run Quicksilver

As a Newbie was wondering about thoughts on my deck. 1 power is Hawkeye and Electra. 2 is Chavez, Medusa, Scarlett Witch and Angela. 3 is Morph and Wolfsbane. 4 is Jessica Jones. 5 is Iron Man and Spider Women and 6 Odin.
Before that it was mostly same just 4 minor tweaks as had Iron Fist instead of Electra. Multiple Man instead of Chavez, Dr Strange instead of Angela. And Iron Heart instead of Morph.
You dont have enough cards to make a whole deck synergy so the best deck early on is always white tiger odin or other on reveal decks with spider woman odin ironheart etc. you’ll need more cards to make a decent or good deck. Your deck is very bad rn but thats just cuz the starting cards are just not strong.
@@austingautier2730 Don't worry my deck is much much better now that I got more cards. Basically all based on Movement other then America Chaves which I hope to one day replace with Ghost Spider if I get her and still have Spider Women. But other than that have Iron Fist then my 2 cards are Multiple man, Cloak, Kraven, Dr.Strange and Hulk Buster who can help the deck a good deal as I like to pair him with Multiple Man to make it a 6 power card or if I don't draw him can use to free up space at a location. Then 3 cards are Polaris as can use her to move a opponent card to help boost Kraven power or fuck over the opponent if they are setting up something. The other 3 card is Vulture. Then have no 4 cards as have yet to come across any that pair with the deck so no point in wasting 4 energy on a turn when I can play multiple 2 cards that actually help much more. for 5 have Vision as can fuck with players baiting them into playing a final card at his locations even though I can move him usually to Kraven to boost him more. And then 6 is Heimdall. Only reason I still have Spider Women is for luck as one of my favorite characters and also in case I don't draw Heimdall. Or even when I do sometimes might be up big in two locations and down big in one and not want to move all cards to the left and fuck myself over.
@@wisewolftony chavez can stay as with hulk buster vision and multiple man theres potential to buff those cards in the next draw and make your vision/multiple man + hulk buster combo more deadly. Another card you can add is forge to replace spider woman. A chavez, forge multiple man hulk buster is a 10 power multiple man which u can use cloak, heimdall and doctor strange to make a 40 power gain to your team. Chavez on 1 forge on 2 multiple man on turn 3 hulk buster cloak turn 4. Vulture doctor strange on turn 5 heimdall on turn 6 is the perfect dream combo if the location allows it. With new york or kun lun / bifrost location this makes it even stronger. Moving decks are by far to me atleast the most consistent deck as you dont need to draw a specific card to make it good. Nightcrawler, spiderman miles morales are more cards u can look forward to adding too.
@@austingautier2730 Yea my deck is really cooking now as just got Ghost Spider since you could buy her for 3,000 credits. And then got Miles as he was the free card I claimed for this season. All I really need now is like one more card that benefits from being moved like Human Torch as my deck is unbalanced by one card as have like 5 cards that move my deck but only 3 that benefit from being moved Vulture, Multiple Man and Kraven. But happy with the deck I have at the moment as find myself being able to compete and beat every other kind of deck. Like in conquest just played someone with a Wong and Odin deck with like Medusa, Wolfbane, Iron Heart and White Tiger. And they got the Wong Odin combo like in 5 out of the 6 games yet still beat them I mean barely as it came down to the final game but still in the past that combo would demolish me. Like as an example last season I only got to level 58 yet already for this season I'm at level 78 and not like I play a massive amount only like 10 or so matches a day.
Would love to see a full Black Order deck once all the cards have been released

I used to run a thanos deck back in the day that ran sentery (with carnage), but this is just a strict upgrade
Here's an interesting idea: cull obsidian in bounce werewolf. Bouncewolf has a LOT of one drops in it. Which makes obsidian a nice big card to play alongside your wolf. It could help bounce because werewolf is usually your only really big stat line in those decks
Carnage or Venom instead of Wave. This would solve space problems and generate a lot of power

I have this crazy idea that you can make a perfect winning Agatha with cards, like crossbones and cold obsidian they can only be played in certain conditions which increases her playing of other cards
And honestly just Zabu 10+ w/ Skaar Moon Girl is the fall back for him
They are clearly running out of ideas already. Pretty soon, we are going to see a card that says, "You can only play this when it's your turn." Why not a Shang-Chi counter? "If the opponent tries to destroy this, give it +5 power." Then you can put it in a lane w another 10+ card as a way to protect it.

He's addressed this a couple times, originally, when Marvel Snap was new, he didn't so people could tell, easily, what cards he was using. At this point it's mostly that he doesn't have favorites assigned and forgets to set them when it's time for recording most of the time.
Everyone else does so to differentiate himself he doesn’t. Some find the original art an eye sore, others can tolerate it lol.
