    Having the right tools for the job sure makes a big difference. But then add operator excellence on top of that, beautiful creations happen. Good job sir, your ponds are going to be an amazing habitat and recreation area for a lifetime.

    Brian, using the bacteria to deal with your muck problem will work, it's just a time issue. If the budget allows you should consider aeration. With a well aerated pond, and because the product is comprised of oxygen loving bacteria, the aerators would create so much more. In an oxygen rich environment, the product would yield better results. I've used a combination of liquid and alternated with pellets (Muck Remover) with faster results. Question, what are some of the other fish structures are you planning on putting in place to concentrate fish? I love rock piles small/big boulders creating a reef effect, the rocks also create cool zones in the summer and warms holding heat in the winter. Locate them on harder bottom breaks where the water depth transitions fast from shallow 3-4ft on top of the piles to deeper 5-6ft or more. Loving the channel sir.👍

    Pond Care 101 , lol 🤣😂, we’re learning more about ponds! Good video Brian! I can’t wait until you get a big rain to see the difference of the pond depth! You should’ve driven in the ground a pipe and marked the depth! That way you can see how much water you’re getting and losing! It’s so cool to have your own lake or big pond! Yeah, you can stir the chemicals up with the boat and motor! Little motor pushes that boat pretty dang good Brian! Thanks for sharing brother, pond is looking good! I hope y’all get the small pond back like you like it too!kirk from Louisiana always sending prayers and positive energy to you and your family my friend! See you in the next one brother! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻💯💯💯. Chris is on the move again today! He’s not going to be satisfied until it’s perfect Brian! He enjoys seeing things done RIGHT!

    Chris is all about QUALITY and he’s good at it my friend!👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Yeah the cloth down a the rip rap over it is going to look professional, he did that in the Bealy Good pond and it turned out awesome! I was excited to see your pond job start and I couldn’t be more impressed by the transformation of the dam and the whole pond! What do you do with those carp Brian? Over here, the will escape the drainage canals and get into the rice fields! When I worked for the farmers, they would have us go out with a 22 and take out as many as we could! They will eat the rice stalks! Take care and good video my friend! See you later!🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻💯💯💯

    Have you considered building a bridge instead of using a 24 inch culvert to connect the ponds? You have a lot of timber you could use. The advantage of building a bridge is that fish and wildlife are far more likely to swim through a 8 ft channel under the bridge than a little culvert. The other thing is that the beavers won't damn it up and will harvest the small brush around the little pond instead of creating channels in the big pond to get to trees.

    It’s interesting to know while your videoing Chris loading, he is also videoing for his channel as well and then watching his video to see his perspective on what’s going on with this project and how each of you view the exact same thing but view it ever so slightly different?

    Well the situation where it happened to me was a bit different as the guy i know didnt know i had also been asked to price the job until he told me about the job.
    We came to arrangement that was fair to both of us where i did the job for the price i was going to price it at.
    Its very rare it happens as its just not the done thing. The other no no is giving your number to customers when youre working for a contractor at a customers.

    So what is the long term plan? Subdivision or Air BnB camp? That is a lot of cash to spend for personal use unless you are planning a McMansion for yourself.

    While Chris repairs one more dam,
    Brian has muck on the lam.
    The ponds are all drained,
    Lets pray for some rain,
    We'll watch the fill-up on cam!

    What will the depth of the pond/lake be when it’s full?

    • @snappingbear
      @snappingbear 48 минут назад

      Well we know the depth at the overflow is 12 feet and he has a twenty foot deep hole where he took the dirt to build the emergency dam that Chris just took out so around 32 ft at the deepest point.

    I know its none of my business but I wish I knew how much something like this would cost a guy for all this work on the ponds, my guess be over $200,000

    • @snappingbear
      @snappingbear 51 минуту назад

      That seems way too high. I'd guess less than half that.

      I have put in an 8 ft high chain link/electric fence, cameras, and posted extra heavily. Prosecuted 3 subjects/groups and the word got around. The fence is also there for wildlife control. The cameras were not hidden but there was only one spot for parking as there was a road ramp yo enter the property for my wife & I, not others to use and no matter how they parked I got perfectly clear coverage of each vehicle. I owned the land across the road as well so there were a couple of cameras there as well. 😂😂
