I would highly encourage drum before shield tbh. And yeah but the one who really benefits from shield is guan and if you have Wallace or Alex in your lineup you are set.
Great video ❤ but it depends on the commander cause a horn for a guan/scipio march is a no no. A break down of the top marches and accessories for them would have been nice in this video also 😊
Hi, can you elaborate on why the horn for Guan/Scipio is a bad thing please? Not disagreeing with you, just want to understand because that’s what I use for them 😂
I find that I do really well with ring/wind scars with my guan/scipio. They Gen a ton of rage anyways, so horn is basically a waste. If I HAD to replace wind scars, probably dagger. But I don't see myself trying to replace that in a hurry 🫵😎
@RandyRodgirth over rage rates are greater than the actual benefit you gain from horn. Scipio generates rage 30% faster when the target enemy is silenced, plus all the rage Gen you get from guans skill tree. There's really no need. Dagger is probably the better option. Or, you could do like me and supplement march speed with wind scars. Easy to crit too.

Statistics ( testing ) shows for Legendary Ring > Horn > Dagger* (Now Greatest Glory being considered, but still last in line) Epic/Rare * Based on use not just best in slot* Flag > Ancient Stratagems > Wind Scars > Silent Trial > Delane's Amulet NOTES - Dagger is technically a % better than Horn! And if you focus field fights and murder ball situation people will argue Ring+Dagger over the traditional choice of Ring+Horn. Due to well in a murder ball, The more hp % Dagger drops on a target and more targets attacking that one. The enemy is being taken out quick. The Arguement for Greatest Glory is the smite commanders, especially using Arch formation. But again as of now the choice is whats been mentioned. For Epic notes. Some claim Flag is not important, I can agree but early mid game using inf field march or anything else really that march speed does assist in escape from enemy or return to war area from refreshing. Easy to obtain as well. Then for Ancient Stratagems it's technically a " Poor mans" Ring due to bringing more troops = slightly more dmg output. Again not "all that important " but if would like that bonus dmg and be slightly better it may be a choice for you. Wind Scars for early/mid even some late game field fighting Infantry players I would say Wind Scars upgraded is always seen on my field infranty march followed by Dagger or Ring along side it. Just my own input. Delane's Amulet is questionable but may offer slight edge offering counter attack but if material is a problem I suggest holding back from this purchase. And Silent Trial upgraded lowering enemy rage buys you another couple auto attack or potentially you getting one more skill off on an enemy march before they get their skill off on you due to lowering rage but it's only by a small % so if struggling for material Delane's Amulet and Silent trial may not be the best investments.. same for Greatest Glory if f2p more casual. Stick with Ring+Dagger or Ring+Horn honestly. Just trying help. ❤
@@ShappyGaming The obtain rate is fairly low. Pendant of Eternal night minus the material cost. I have an old coin I only use on Guan and when Ragnar Prime comes out if we end up all benching Guan I might just dismantle the coin. Right now Im running smite garrison with a ring and a Vengeance thats special talent for infantry (10.5% counter) and Iconic II (troop basic health 4, troop health 1.5%). I not sure if I should keep using that or try for the Greatest Glory. 5 rings, 1 web, 1 dagger, 1 coin, 1 vengeance, 1 horn
Vengeance isn’t bad, it just requires you to get swarmed to be better than greatest glory, to be honest for the cost of dismantling you are better off just keeping it
Hi, nice video and I watched till the end. But somehow im not satisfied with how you explain how good ring is for its 50% more damage vs how not really relevant the dagger unless all the marches have it. Because i have tested and look on battle log multiple times, Sadly dagger effect always proc multiple times and way much more than ring. Isnt it basicly just praying on luck, to get the big "IF" ring effect proc more = its good. Can you maybe help convince me that ring is better than dagger. Rhanks anyway
yes, unfortunately we all bought a ring because of a youtubers, even though we hardly see it in battle report. Horn, dagger are definitely ahead. Only ring with liu che can be activated often
Yeah, i mean its because i read and checked the battle log 1 by 1. Dagger proc like almost 10 times more often with no exaggeration. And use it with scipio, you get stable HP debuff -5% up to - 45% (not rare). Let say HP is the most desire stat + most usefull + most searched stat by player. Isnt it also great to reduce it. Most player have avarage of 80% to 100% HP buff. 15% HP reduction (not counting scipio), is already huge. In my humble opinion.
I'm personally on the dagger train myself. Ring is a selfish accessory, only procing a damage buff for 1 march, whereas all your marches can benefit from dagger procs. Under rated piece if you ask me.
So here is the thing- the ring has a 1/10 chance to proc every time and that probability does not aggregate, so you are totally right that there is the potential for it to proc less. However when it procs it makes a huge difference. Dagger is 3x more likely to proc and more likely to proc sequentially because of that. However in a murder ball realistically the target is not going to last long enough for it to make a difference, and it only will impact the one target where as ring impacts all damage dealt- including smite or skill. Realistically I would take a 1/10 chance that I will essentially deal a second primary skill over the chance to debuff a target that is probably gonna die anyhow by 3-6% (no chance you get full stack). Just my thoughts!
if they add new accessories it means they will reduce the accessories cost not everyone is a whale who spends million of dollars and has everything sorted out so far and especially new players you can see even the cancellation of t6 tells you a lot that they can not do what they want or they will lose the spenders they already have in the game for years.
