I was so scared to land my aerials because of my head hitting the ground, but I tensed myself up wind up into it and just commit as hard as I can. Now I can do it anytime anywhere. 😀 (Tricker btw not a gymnast)
Silverwalls that's also my problem, I'm always so scared but don't know how to change it. I try to think positive but it doesn't work. O think I could do it into a foam pit but I'm not a gymnast and I don't have a foam pit at home...
Kaklimk kluwana Have the mindset of you landing the trick and go in giving it 100% every try, you should always remember that the full rotation is all in the pull that you do with your arms to get you around (works good for me) and keep your legs as straight as you can rotating yourself as hard as you can to get the full rotation axis and successfully landing on your feet.
Silverwalls I can imagine myself doing an aerial but nevertheless I can't do it. I think I could do it because I can take away my hands from the ground in the middle of my cartwheel. But I can't take them away at thr beginning because I'm scared. I'm still gonna try. And thanks for the tip with the arms!
Please help me im practicing at a road coz there is no grass when im attempting my aerial i keep putting my hands down coz i think that i will fall in my head i dont want to coz its a road . Please give tips
wow, I never new how hard a aerial could be for someone, this I am so good at since I was 5 but I am no wear near as good at his kicks and now I want to learn the b-twist but I am not as good at kicks like he is. Thank you for sharing your hardship and your perseverance. You inspired me to keep going as we all have our own challenges that can be overcame. Great job.
I’m a Dancer and it took me a YEAR to get my Aerial!!! Very good Progression! Just next time when your Trying a new skill, try it on a mat or on a Trampoline! It will help with not hurting yourself☺️ But still very good job!
I felt the joy when you were able to finally do it. Exactly how i felt when I practised my front walkover. Took me a couple of weeks since that needs more flexibility. The back walkover is much harder as you need to push your body more. Then progressed to multiple walkovers without much distance
I’ve been trying to get my aerial for more than a year and now that I have a coach I’m actually getting really close to doing it! My tip is just not giving up
I got rid of how long I took to learn on my videos because I don't want people to feel like its a competition to learn. learning is done and a different pace for everyone, but the important thing is you don't give up after a few goes or a few months. Just keep trying you'll get it!
Made me so happy watching this, you seriously put so much effort into getting it, I had been working on getting mine and finally got it, I just want to get it solid because sometimes I don't get enough height, good job dude
Great job you nailed it:) Its nice to see people who accomplish their goals! You have inspired me to do my ariel im almost their just a bit more practice And good luck with the rest of your goals!!
It took me almost 3 MONTHS to get me side Aerial. At the beginning of the first 2 weeks I was already giving up because I saw no progress and i did practice EVERY DAY. And to keep me from giving up I always tell myself “If You want an Aerial Then WORK HARD FOR IT and eventually I did 😁 (right now I’m practicing for my middle splits to make the side Aerial even more perfect 👌)
I starter yesterday practitting my aerial, i just have my cartwheel (not perfect) and my one handed carthweel looks like a poo, but im really afraid od that I hit my head in ground, do you have any tips? (BTW sorry for my english)
I'm a gymnast and just got my aerial, great job but my tips and to go back and work on improving your cartwheel so it's with straight legs and consistent, also to work on a good prep I know it's kinda hard when you are teaching yourself but I actually taught myself an aerial because it's a higher level than I am and I really wanted to get it, anyways I always take a few steps have a really big hurdle and push off the floor so I can get height and rotate to land it. 🤗😎😀 good job on getting your aerial!
I watched this video when it was posted and that's what inspired me to do gymnastics! Even though I started doing it in 2016, I have good progress now. Thank you for posting this!
jejejeje hace poco que empecé hacer el airial progresivo con una sola mano pero me falta hacerlo sin manos y estoy sufriendo en aprender, me encanta este tutorial.
This actually helped me a lot! Usually I am thinking about keeping my hands off the ground but now it is so much easier when I thing about a fast rotation and height :D
This is really cool that you have done this in little time. But you need to make your legs straighter cause it doesn't totally look like an aerial and it helps rotation and just makes it easier all together if you straighten your legs. I'm excited to see what more you can do in a couple day. Real Tallent!
You're Amazing! You did your aerial for about a week and I got it for 2 months! But here's some advice You're lacking of flexibility practice your straddle, middle split and oversplits
I learned my aerial by doing a 1 handed cartwheel on my trampoline and pulling my hands away in the middle of it and once I got good at that I went for my aerial and I did it!
I do gymnastics and here’s a few tips (don’t get offended) 1.) that’s not a aerial, that’s a butterfly kick. An aerial, your body is straight but a butterfly kick your like bent 2.) straighten your legs please. I know your more muscle than flexibility so it might be hard but you need to 3.) point your toes. It gets you through the air quicker and keeps you balanced. Trust me. 4.) when you do it, aerial or cartwheel. You don’t land sideways of how you started. You would land facing the opposite of where you started. 5.) Don’t keep your arms straight down liek your going to touch the ground while doing the aerial. Keep your arms straight like when your standing and your arms are down straight, that’s where your arms should be, or bend them at your stomach and keep them there. Just some tips
Wow! You got it so fast. NICE! My aerial definitely took longer than yours to develop. I had trouble hitting a 180 degree split mid-air. Apart from that, try improving your cartwheel and splits to straighten your legs, you might also even consider pointing your toes so you'll have a better form. ☺ Broken lines doesn't hit well with judges. Are you a gymnast?
I can't cartwheel. Heck, I can't even handstand. But with the weather slowly warming, I think I'm going to try to learn. I just need to not be afraid of injury. XD
Hey you made me confident to try and learn it. But I’m afraid of getting hurt because I don’t have any proper equipment like an air track. I do go to a gymnastics class but they don’t seem to teach aerials. Idk my parents might be able to spot me but idk if I trust them lol.
I'd be just trying to lightly touch ground no weight on hands. Not using arms for momentum though. Also I think Id do a month of yoga before trying this lol. Also how do u not tweak ur lower back? I've got a Swiss ball core workout that could be good. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing that about ur ankle. Also where do u feel the power come from? Is is a mini quad drive of standing in leg when torso almost horizontal? Lots of respect for toughing it out.
Omg when I got my aerial my ankle would hurt too because I was using a new muscle. Just do fast cartwheels when it hurts then the next day if it doesn’t hurt try it again. Make sure your head and chest stays under you
I can do an aerial but it's shaky it's hard to tuck the landing is hard and I don't have enough confidence but I have to work on those things and i have a gymnastics background to help me so I know I can do it.
I like how you’re older than six and doing it. So many six year olds are more advanced these days. Sometimes it comes to show you have to be small to be in dance and that’s not the case. Not in my studio.
I used to use a mini trampoline in the yard, also flipped off of things like couch or picnic table. be careful though I ended up with bad shinsplints, little stress fractures in the lower legs.
I’ve been trying my aerial since I was 9 but I stopped when I was ten cos I dislocated my chest...fast forward a few years, I started practicing a few months ago but I’m not quite there I’m still working on it
Omg how did u do it in three days??!!! It’s only my second day practicing an aerial but I have a friend who got hers in a year, and I also know someone else who took almost six months!!!

vjpllöänxlcĺxjc

I can do one handed cartwheel. This video give me the will to complete my aerial. ;)
Same!! Today’s my second day learning but I hope to get my aerial soon!! I hope you do to!!
Me too
I was so scared to land my aerials because of my head hitting the ground, but I tensed myself up wind up into it and just commit as hard as I can. Now I can do it anytime anywhere. 😀 (Tricker btw not a gymnast)
same looking at the ground so close wasn't assuring at all

Sometimes it looks like you're doing a front aeriel attempt, but How do you jump so high???
time the right leg kicking over at the peak then take off with the left legs give more lift, aerial doesn't need to be that high
Fgc

The form killed me
you're welcome
At least covid didn't get the chance
i needed this inspiration. i used to do this move a long time ago and got frustrated trying it again. i needed to see the progression.
I’ve been trying to get my aerial for more than a year and now that I have a coach I’m actually getting really close to doing it! My tip is just not giving up
Using the opposite hand was really smart. I'm gonna try that
you got it!
Thanks for giving me the inspiration!
It's been six months and I've seen improvement but this was crazy fast consider ur self lucky
I got rid of how long I took to learn on my videos because I don't want people to feel like its a competition to learn. learning is done and a different pace for everyone, but the important thing is you don't give up after a few goes or a few months. Just keep trying you'll get it!
I do parkour and I could do it at the first time.
andres espinoza
Awesome! I wanna learn the aeriel!
Made me so happy watching this, you seriously put so much effort into getting it, I had been working on getting mine and finally got it, I just want to get it solid because sometimes I don't get enough height, good job dude
Kay LilacLight thank you :) just gotta keep going until it's consistent!
Great job you nailed it:) Its nice to see people who accomplish their goals! You have inspired me to do my ariel im almost their just a bit more practice And good luck with the rest of your goals!!
You too mate!
I love the way you are confident
It took me almost 3 MONTHS to get me side Aerial. At the beginning of the first 2 weeks I was already giving up because I saw no progress and i did practice EVERY DAY. His face when he landed it for the first time 😭💗
Great job! I mastered my Aerial in 2017, it took me and hour to master but it all paid off👍 good luck to everyone else trying
Kaylee Marie thanks for the tip! I'll work on it :)
Kaylee Marie I wish I could get mine....
SAME!!,! I taught myself one too, it took me a really long time but when I got it I was overjoyed!
Kaylee Marie a tricking Ariel doesn’t have to be straight perpendicular to the floor so that we can trick out of it or make it an A twist
Kaylee Marie I wish I could get my aerial I have tried and tried. I just can't do it. I am a level 3 gymnast.
I watched this video when it was posted and that's what inspired me to do gymnastics! Even though I started doing it in 2016, I have good progress now. Thank you for posting this!
awesome work!
AccomplishAnything thank you
jejejeje hace poco que empecé hacer el airial progresivo con una sola mano pero me falta hacerlo sin manos y estoy sufriendo en aprender, me encanta este tutorial.
I got my aerial like 10 times in a row today and I’m so happy thank you so much for inspiring me
Congratulations!! Im so happy watching these videosand even happier when i saw u did it :)
GymnasticsM&M thank you so much, always a great feeling landing it the first time :)
Can u please for your next video atempt to do front aerial? It would make me really happy :)
GymnasticsM&M sure once my ankle is fully healed I'll get onto it
Tysmmm
Wow Amazing!❤
When he did his first attempt in the video he accidentally did an aerial twist
Very nice, pretty smooth.
This actually helped me a lot! Usually I am thinking about keeping my hands off the ground but now it is so much easier when I thing about a fast rotation and height :D
yeah height is key!
I just came across your video, I've learned other flips but not this yet. gonna have to start trying it since your video inspired me
give it a go it's fun!
This is really cool that you have done this in little time. But you need to make your legs straighter cause it doesn't totally look like an aerial and it helps rotation and just makes it easier all together if you straighten your legs. I'm excited to see what more you can do in a couple day. Real Tallent!
thanks i need to work on flexibility if i want to straighten them!
It is very satisfieing to see the process, I like that!!!
You're Amazing! You did your aerial for about a week and I got it for 2 months!
But here's some advice
You're lacking of flexibility practice your straddle, middle split and oversplits
Yep trying to go for splits!
Thank you so much for inspiring me!
Not A Barbie no worries go out there and give it a go!
This gives me inspiration my guy
Ur such an inspiration to me ive learned alot of flips from you thank you 🙏🏻
This guys neighbors: "he's doing the fucking cartwheels again...."
they come out and watch sometimes haha
This is really inspirational, it’s amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it 👏👏👏👏
That's it!
AccomplishAnything what?
Wow that looks amazing I hope your ankle is better
+CTmadsSG RUclips ankle is better, knee is nearly there back soon!
this helped me more than the tutorials on Aerials! thanks!
Happy to help out :)
I learned my aerial by doing a 1 handed cartwheel on my trampoline and pulling my hands away in the middle of it and once I got good at that I went for my aerial and I did it!
I do gymnastics and here’s a few tips (don’t get offended)
1.) that’s not a aerial, that’s a butterfly kick. An aerial, your body is straight but a butterfly kick your like bent
2.) straighten your legs please. I know your more muscle than flexibility so it might be hard but you need to
3.) point your toes.
Broken lines doesn't hit well with judges. Are you a gymnast?
i dont have the flexibility for gymnast im just a dirty old tricker haha i really do appreciate gymnasts they go through so much!
I can't cartwheel. Heck, I can't even handstand. But with the weather slowly warming, I think I'm going to try to learn. I just need to not be afraid of injury. XD
It's the same for everyone just got to get past that fear then becomes easier!
Are you greek?
Cyan Dino yes!!! I was really scared to do a cartwheel but my mom took to out local pool to practice because the water will hold u up better
omg this was really motivational, thank you so much for posting!!
You're welcome! Hope you give it a go if you haven't!
Dang, great job. Gymnastics aerial is definitely harder than the tricking aerial.
Well done mate! looks great!
Cheers matey!
Wow, you are doin so well!
thank you!
This looks like Sydney. Good work.
You work hard.
I love it
thanks for watching!
I got my first aerial on a tumble track(a longer trampoline) and I’m a master at it. Then- I try on ground- and I never can do it.
Lucky! I finally got my aerial in TWO YEARS!!!
Doesn't matter got it in the end!
Hey you made me confident to try and learn it. But I’m afraid of getting hurt because I don’t have any proper equipment like an air track. I do go to a gymnastics class but they don’t seem to teach aerials. Idk my parents might be able to spot me but idk if I trust them lol.
Aerial is easy to reach but you are awesome man
Hard at the start easy as now!
Could you learn an aerial without a background in gymnastics and without a coach? I’m somewhat interested in it but it looks really really hard.
You get so high!! Nice job👍🏼
cheers!
Landed couple of aerials just on my second day of starting tricking.
I wish I was there to give you some tips and show you a few things to help get a faster rotation
I'd be just trying to lightly touch ground no weight on hands. Not using arms for momentum though. Also I think Id do a month of yoga before trying this lol. Also how do u not tweak ur lower back? I've got a Swiss ball core workout that could be good. Thanks for sharing.

Hey are mats recommend? I’m trying to take some trampoline flips straight to grass
I am practicing ariel at the moment. I can do a one hand cart wheel right now.I just need to keep practicing😁
make the one handed cartwheel super light!
sw
You got areial ankle after doing your areial 🤸♂️🤸♂️but that was good
whats aerial ankle?
Literally I was watching these videos while trying to get my Ariel the second it went to this video I got my ariel
That was amazing it took me half a year to learn mine and I finally dot it on my b,day👌🎀
What a perfect present for yourself! Congrats!
*goes for the first attempt*
*accidentally does an a twist* 🤣
You could also try tucking your hands in it will help your technique
lol i haven't landed mine yet and i would like to say well done on getting it in 3 days most people take a lot longer
I try not to make it a day thing anymore just learn at your own pace!
Omg when I got my aerial my ankle would hurt too because I was using a new muscle. Just do fast cartwheels when it hurts then the next day if it doesn’t hurt try it again. Make sure your head and chest stays under you
you were so calm about it! when i got mine i couldn’t stop screaming ahha
I was on the inside but neighbour were watching
Wow amazing video
Love you you bro I like your practice
Wow awesome dude 🤗🔥
Thanks :)
Great ! You did !
I was curious to know about when you started training gymnastics seriously...
I mean by your age
Great job!! Congrats I posted a video of me doing aerials lol
Ohhh myyy god it is amazing tutorial
I can do an aerial but it's shaky it's hard to tuck the landing is hard and I don't have enough confidence but I have to work on those things and i have a gymnastics background to help me so I know I can do it.
Its an odd looking technique but its still cool looking. I think your hand motions cause you to delay slightly longer in the air
its a tricker's aerial does look a bit different
Nice job, your first attempt at the aerial looked like a b-twist and you even almost landed it haha
i could a twist before this so that's why i twisted :P
I like how you’re older than six and doing it. So many six year olds are more advanced these days. Sometimes it comes to show you have to be small to be in dance and that’s not the case. Not in my studio.
Practice makes man perfect
That’s it!
I remember in 3rd grade I could do it
But 2 years later u stoped doing gymnastics and I couldn't get my Ariel again :,
My suggestion is that you go into the aerial forward rather than from the did it will look better and it will be easier to straighten your legs
this is more of a tricker's aerial which is a bit more side
Man, you're a regular Tom Holland
The first time you tried it without hands looked like an a twist
I could a twist before this so yeah i did an a half twist!
AccomplishAnything yeah I got kinda frustrated when you did it with hands because you could definitely do it without them
+Jonathan Moskowich it's always a mental thing learning a new trick but just gotta keep trying!
You should get an air track I have one it is amazing
I want one so bad but cant afford one and don't have the space
I used to use a mini trampoline in the yard, also flipped off of things like couch or picnic table. be careful though I ended up with bad shinsplints, little stress fractures in the lower legs.
thank you,i did my aerial
I’ve been trying my aerial since I was 9 but I stopped when I was ten cos I dislocated my chest...fast forward a few years, I started practicing a few months ago but I’m not quite there I’m still working on it
How did you dislocate your chest???
At a trampoline park trying to do a flip
This was great. Was it 6 days? Motivates me
yeah around there! go for it!
wow that was cool dude...
tony mandal thanks mate more cool stuff to come!
Hey I'm trying to get my aerial any tips?♥️btw how long did it take for you to learn it?
kick the first leg (right for me) hard and up and over your body helps a lot. I had a solid cartwheel before this video but aerial look me a few days
AccomplishAnything thanks
Do you have any tips on keeping your legs straight in a cartwheel that worked for you? Because nothing has worked for me...
Mr Psycho Mate kick the right leg harder and faster and focus on keeping it straight :)
Omg how did u do it in three days??!!! It’s only my second day practicing an aerial but I have a friend who got hers in a year, and I also know someone else who took almost six months!!!
I can see you’ve got the tricker type of style. Great job though man!
yeah defs not as pretty as a gymnast
Try a front aerial next
Nice!
