    Aerials do take some flexibility, strength, and posture to get it right! I’m a dancer and an aerial took me a while to get, but I trained and I got the hang of it. Just keep practicing! U always impress me with how u train urself

    Pushing your head on the bean bag is going to make you want to put your head on the ground when you are doing the arial. Try to start off running and doing a one handed cartwheel. It will help.😁

    I can totally relate on the groin injury because I developed the same thing from trying to throw round kicks higher than I was ready for.
    If you started to feel it getting irritated again after that session I would seriously get it checked out, especially if it has been a while since the initial injury happenes and it is still coming up.
    I didn't think much of my injury at first and it got so much worse because I was overenthusiastic and would try train moves through the injury. Now I'm having to do rehabilitation work to strengthen the area again - which sucks xD
    I guess what I'm trying to say is that strength conditioning and flexibility/mobility training can go a long way. I just don't want to see you fall into the same hole of hurting an area and then avoiding certain moves until it "feels better" and have to dig yourself out through tedious rehab like I currently am.
    Love the videos dude. Your channel has helped and inspired me so much in my tricking journey \m/

    Increasing your hip flexibility, or just flexibility in general will defiantly help you straitened out those legs which ultimately makes it easier to Ariel.

    Think of it more as a kick than a flip. As soon as you jump of you want to drag your landing leg over and down towards the ground.

    I think the problem is the right leg, instead of kicking you are contracting it, you are not getting enough height so you are forced to land like that. And you are leaving you arms straight, not building momentum, so you are only using your left leg to do ALL the move. I think if you correct that you are going to be doing Aerials for days (sorry for my english)

    Your upper body is too crouched and bent over. Look at a video of you doing a cartwheel with straight arms and straight legs. The Ariel should look EXACTLY like that but your hands shouldn’t touch the ground. Try doing it with a hurdle at first. When you do it, throw your arms really hard down and pull them behind you. If you notice your hands touching the ground out of “fear” or you just can’t overcome it. Hold two small object in your hands. Then it will prevent your palms from being able to catch yourself

    • @parkourandfreerunning4214
      @parkourandfreerunning4214 6 лет назад +2

    Yo Lucas, you are doing great buddy, you'll get it soon, you're the man! Just try and focus on keeping your legs straight, don't bend them too much cause you lose a lot of power that way. It really is a relatively easy trick once you start to understand it, and it's fun to play around with in combos and stuff. Flexibility helped me a lot on this one, i learned mine from a b-kick, and once i got the tricking aerial, it was even easier to do it from a hurdle and straight forward like gymnasts do. So maybe try that one too, it's a pretty cool move. Anyways, keep up the great work, you are amazing! Best wishes from Serbia! :)

    Straighten your knees! And point your toes!
    Try going at it from a gymnastics type cartwheel, not sideways, and if you have the room, try running into it. Then halfway through the cartwheel lift your hands up off the ground. Keep doing that until you don't need your hands anymore. Put your hands up right before you cartwheel/Arial, and tuck them in fast to help get momentum.

    I don't know if you have it yet, but here's some advice from a gymnast! It will be a lot easier to get your form better if you start with a cartwheel rather then started with a side flip. Don't pike too much, keep your hips open. Try your best to be vertical, like how you should be in a cartwheel! And for the last one when you said "Was that it?", it was better, but not quite. You can see your hips start to pike in the middle of the skill, which basically makes it a side flip.

  • @earlybroncoadventures
    @earlybroncoadventures 6 лет назад

    Don’t put your hands on fists! Sounds like it doesn’t change much but it does. also you need a bigger preparation, a few steps into it with a big hurdle really helps you with momentum:) you’re just doing a step out which is usually something you learn after you have your Ariel. Work on straightening those legs too but it looks awesome for your first time!

    It's all about moving your legs VERY fast. And there is two ways to place your hands most popular being straight behind your back, but, you can also hold your hands against your chest kinda like how the mummies do it

  • @laylacastro7356
    @laylacastro7356 6 лет назад

    Something that could help is to use your arms more. You want to hurdle into it and when you first leg touches the ground flick your back leg to the sky and you want to pull your arms up. The position you are going to hit is like a bird with your chest up arms back and one leg up. The back leg is what carries you over and your arms give you height so you don’t hit the ground. Also try it running first before standing. Having good flexibility will really help with keeping your legs straight. I hope this helps ☺️❤️

    I’m a gymnast and this skill isn’t that easy but remember to bring your chest up more at the end and also keep your legs straight not bend them and it looks like your bending at your waist so it looks like your not upside down DO NOT BEND AT YOUR WAIST the one at 5:57 was great but try not to bend at your waist it looks like your in a chair but upside down but yes your doing good

  • @tophtrickour376

    When I do an Ariel I treat it more as a butterfly kick than a no handed cartwheel because when you think no handed cartwheel you usually won't focus on getting the kick,if you have a decent b-kick just try to throw your legs up more straighter/over your head and instead of looking to the side/behind you like a normal b-kick look to the ground and your Ariel should feel exactly like a b-kick but to each their own,just my thoughts and how i learned to Ariel *>*

    this flip is not easy. your legs become your hands and it’s hard to get it. please keep trying with practice you can get it. try one handed kartwheels, handstand blocks, and using an incline to practice. if you keep putting your hands down because of a mental block try putting something in both hands to stop putting them down. check out Anna’s video for more tips ruclips.net/video/_qL9efuX1lI/видео.html .

    I learned it in 2 months! It’s basically a b kick but instead of looking horizontally,u look at the ground. Don’t even think that it’s a cartwheel with no hands. Just think b kick😃

    I've got my one-handed cartwheel down, so I can practise my aerial on grass, which I usually do, and if I start to fall and know I wont make it, I'll recover by putting my hand down

    It took me a 4 months to get my aerial and front aerial but that was like 2 years ago now I’m on level 10 and everything is just so easy . I’m in gymnastics and an aerial takes flexibility, and strength. You have the strength just stretch your middle and front splits for about 6 months and your back. If you want to do an aerial you have to run and gain power and after you get that then you can start a standing aerial

    STOP SCRUNCHING it would be an aerial if you stopped scrunching when you take your hands of the floor

    Aerials get 10x easier if u work on core strength and hip flexor strength, best excersize for these imo is hanging L-sit on a bar, that'll hit your core and your hips!

    How to do an Ariel
    1-practice doing a cartwill with one hand 2-after you pratcised doing that then work on jumping higher 3-after your done with that I forgot to say you have to work out to get leg power 4- after that make sure you have enough speed to flip 5- then start to to keep doing a cartwill with one hand keep doing it ontil your confiden and you ready to do 6- then you will start to feel like you can do an ariel. And those are my steps to doing an ariel

    He's used to perform expert and fast tricks in small rooms. I've seen him improving his break dance skills in a small living room. It's kinda scary, lol

    Looks like your already doing it. I've been trying it for the last 3 days and my issue is that I can't land on it yet

    ok push very hard off your leg as you go into a cartwheel *after* you do a strong hurdle, then you can try dive cartwheels and pop cartwheels, the key is to scoop under your body with your legs (easier with flexibility) :)

    for me personaly it has never worked to practise it on the trampolin because you really need to push one foot into the ground while the other one is kicking. watch some gymnastics tutorials and practise a little bit (flexibility and technique) and you will get it

    I think the problem might be your form. You’re taking off more sideways instead of forward, which is why your legs bend in the aerial

    I did gymnastics for 6 years and let me just say through those six years I spent two learning ariels and I STILL can’t do it. They are not easy, trust me.
