I've been doing crawling daily ever since I saw Bioneer's video over a year and a half ago, it is now my main form of strength training along with an occasional pull-up set. Sometimes just a few seconds as a warmup, but often I go to the running track and do a few minutes in the center field, or I find a staircase. Always with gloves now because you just never know when someone left a smashed bottle around. If you do crab walks as well as bear crawl it balances out the shoulders. It puts most gym equipment to shame for the amount of fatigue it can generate, and it never really gets boring, there are too many ways to change it up. I should probably try using a weight vest for progression since the flat ground just isn't much of a challenge now(other than hurting my hands) and the stairs are mostly testing my explosiveness. I have tested putting plates in a backpack, the first time doing it I didn't have it secured right, the plates slid out over my shoulder and gave me a scare. It does work, even adding 5lb makes it much harder, but I think the vest would be better for keeping center of gravity.
If I saw a guy doing this at the gym I would first lmao but then try to become friends with him. You're a freaking real one cause I think a lot of us want to do this
As a quadrobist, I would say jumping makes life easier. Trotting drains energy. I would say curl your fingers so they don't break. Trampolines are quite good for practicing jumping, but if you don't have one, then practice on a bed of sofa or even a soft rug!

The “oh this is a workout” throughout the videos makes me laugh knowing that’s what I said the first time I did it! As a quadrobist and therian I think this is really impressive especially how fast you were able to go and your stamina. I have been doing quadrobics for months but I could not go as fast as you could by only day 2. I think curling your fingers is most likely to break your fingers on hard surfaces. how are you gonna break your fingers with flat hands? I only do curled fingers on soft surfaces
I believe the reason you think that you are less "lean" muscle is because you were using almost every muscle on all 4's, and were likely filling out muscles you don't normally use all the time. This blowed the proportion out from the muscles around those, the forearms definitely could have gotten bigger and made the biceps look smaller because of it and less bigger in comparison

This man is terribly, enormously confident! Like i`m afraid to even record videos for instagram at public, gym, etc, and he`s running on all 4`th in public places like for 5 days! 🔥
Like this must have been super awkward to film but it’s very interesting, shows that even without the intelligence difference being acknowledged the bipedal movement just makes us so much better adapted than our other ape ancestors. It’s such a crazy advantage being able to use only 2 limbs to move at all times.
If you are ever doing this again I would recommend bringing your knees to be more under your body and closer to the ground (It’s the most common position). Also for your hands you should probably make your fingers fold in the way that if you are to look at the side of them they look like they say y, this helps with getting less injuries.. Another thing you should do each day is stretch so you don’t totally waste your body
@@korcidiamond3623 you’re forgetting we evolved from chimps They walk on all fours because their arms are longer than their legs Also I said *ancient* don’t start a pointless argument

As a quadrobist and ✨THERIAN✨ you usually get ✨wrist pain✨ after about.. two days of quads/Quadrobics? Which im surprised you didn't get it until day four and five, it makes doing quads a LOT harder, but most Quadrobists either rest until it goes away or keep doing quads (I kept doing quads Xd) And a tip; Dont pound on it, move like an animal would, move your body like a cat would, shift your weight from one hand to the other, shift your shoulders, stretch and arch your back when running! Also, pad your hands with gloves! Doing quads without them could make them bleed Fun fact; i did this but for a month and then i ALMOST forgot how to walk on two legs. :>
As a quadrobist and therian, this is very interesting and impressive since it took like a week to do atleast simple quadrobics, keep your amazing work up! ❤

As a quadrobist who does it a lot every week, who know how to walk on 3’s as well jumping, I appreciate you doing this but I believe you should have trained as I and others do. The “oh this is a workout” throughout the videos makes me laugh knowing that’s what I said the first time I did it! There are also different workouts and techniques you could have used to help you not felt so much pain. Maybe you should do it again with some training and advice from a quadrobist
any tips for training for quads?
@@Rieylthegoober I mainly do wall sits, planks, push ups, and wrist stretches! I also do like a usually light work out but that’s what I do for specifically quads! I don’t do a lot of jumps so I don’t do anything too extra just make sure I’m being safe! Have fun!
@@m0_5ster AHH THANK YOU!
As a quadrobist and therian I think this is really impressive especially how fast you were able to go and your stamina. I have been doing quadrobics for months but I could not go as fast as you could by only day 2. And a tip for anyone who is thinking of doing public quadrobics I would recommend wearing gloves to stop your hands hurting (so like shoes for your hands) and also tuck your fingers in so you don't break them!
absolute ridiculousness man, kudos for sticking with it. I know, not your normal 7 days, but this one was on another level.
I wouldn’t have the guts to go outside on all four’s 😂
I'm a therian and a quadrobist and I'm very impressed he got good form within the second day, I've been doing quads for a few months and I'm only now getting ok form. Respect to this guy
I hope you realise you've paved the way for a week of slithering around like a snake lol
My mind is just curl in you fingers 0:05
Fr
REAL
SO TRUE AS A QUADROBIST I WAS SCREAMING 😭😭
Frrr bros gone break his fingers
I think curling your fingers is most likely to break your fingers on hard surfaces. how are you gonna break your fingers with flat hands? I only do curled fingers on soft surfaces
AS A QUADROBIST HIM NOT CURLING HIS FINGERS MAKES ME HORRIFIED🥲😭
I believe the reason you think that you are less "lean" muscle is because you were using almost every muscle on all 4's, and were likely filling out muscles you don't normally use all the time. This blowed the proportion out from the muscles around those, the forearms definitely could have gotten bigger and made the biceps look smaller because of it and less bigger in comparison
Basically you get really... really jacked
My anxiety as a quadrobrist when he dint curl his finger:📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈
BRUH 1K LIKES!! WA RA DO FOR THIS I HAVE MORE LIKE ON THIS COMMENT THEN ON MY MOST POPULAR VID LMAO
Fr!
SAME!! OMG i just couldnt
OMG SAME
Same!!
Bro fr 😢
as a quadrobist/therian this is awesome.because you're doing better then could in a week.props too you man good job.(:
Great Video Man! That must have been tough.
You should have done a few Strength/Speed tests on day 1, 3 and 7. That way You, and everyone here watching, would be able to see how much you improved/adapted throughout the week.
This is actually a sport called quadrobics! You did very good as a complete beginner!
Oh my God sweet tooth
SWEET TOOTH
I’m a Therian and a quadrobist, this is IMPRESSIVE. I can’t even do 30 minutes of quadrobics without getting a cramp.
“Look at how fast I am” 😭 you’re one of my biggest inspirations for just enjoying everything.
As a therian who does quadrobics (that’s what walking on all fours is called), I can’t believe you did this for so long and with no practice/experience, I’m not even that good and I’ve practiced for months lol, (I only really do it once a day for like 15 min) good job lol
Oh nice!!
U are really good at quads!! I’m subbed to your channel now btw
Tysm!!!!!!
@Ohioleftmebrokensays the person with Ohio in their name
As somebody who does quadrobics, I normally do them for an hour a day but Im glad Im not the only one in this comment section who does them! XD
You made your father and my community so proud. Here’s a gold paw! 🐾
YIPPEEE! As a quadrobist, it can be SO HARD without tons of practice, and it still makes you SO TIRED 😭
Heres some advice for anyone that does quads: curl your fingers!!!! This can prevent breaking your fingers when running or junping
but then u tear the skin like crazy but i guess u can just build up tougher skin/calluses
@@Viperpro140 that’s why most people wear gloves when doing quads
@@Sn0wy_38 no way you said thats emu and also why would you wear gloves u get a worse grip
@@Viperpro140 ever heard of grip gloves?
@@Sn0wy_38 still worse and if they arent then why would u even its better to have tough skin to have gloves and not have tough skin
very cool! quadrobist and therian here! his form was pretty…eh at the start but it got better! so proud of you for doing that. but also if you do this again, curl your fingers for less wrist tension and your fingers won’t hurt as bad!!
Great video! Thank you for always trying the weirdest ways to train for us!
As a therian that does quadrobics, i see this as an absolute win.
omggg yesss i was searching for therians in the comments
Same! I'm not specifically a therian but I am alterhuman! This is so amazing!
I'm also a therian and I practice Quadrobics! I need to get used to walking with 4 paws, I've been practicing for 3 months, but I'm still weak for it, I train running and jogging on all fours for 30 minutes a day, I know it's not enough and I intend to increase
This is so hilarious I have no words lmfao. Yes the crawling but also "Im not doing a dog challenge... Maybe this plate could've looked better..." *Nomnomnombomnokmcnmcovovogo* 🤣😂😂😂
NOPE I was gonna stop commenting and now I'm mf dyinggggggggg the trampoline sent me away and then ur wife after that bye I am no longer alive RIP lmfao
Pigmie is one of the most committed humans alive. :-)
The dedication and the focus!
This man is terribly, enormously confident! Like i`m afraid to even record videos for instagram at public, gym, etc, and he`s running on all 4`th in public places like for 5 days!
🔥
As an otherhearted quadrobist, mad respect for this guy. The balls to do this everywhere in public and all the time is insane.
I’m an otherhearted quadrobist too!
@@Sparklewolfgirl67 AHH FINALLY! Another otherhearted person!!!
I’m cathearted what about you?@@5UMM1T
@@Sparklewolfgirl67 foxhearted and bobcathearted!
@@5UMM1T how long have you been doing quadrobics? I’ve only been doing it for about a month

Startrs Bear crawling everywhere, sounds about right 😂
bro just summoned every therian and quadrobist in existence
STOP ASSOCIATING THERIANS AND QUADS YOU TUMBLRKINS!! -me, an otherpaw and otherhearted
This was my favorite video you've made in a while, it was very entertaining! Keep up the good work!
Another thing you should do each day is stretch so you don’t totally waste your body
i really want society to work like this like imagine everyone walked around on all fours
We’d probably look more normal to animals and I think our ancient ancestors would be proud
We have been on two legs since 5 million years.
We know from ardipiticus ramidus..
So, what ancestors are you talking about?
@@korcidiamond3623 you’re forgetting we evolved from chimps
They walk on all fours because their arms are longer than their legs
Also I said *ancient* don’t start a pointless argument
reject humanity. embrace *monke*
@@7x_c.7 bruh..humans are not descended from monkeys or any other primate living today. We do share a common ape ancestor with chimpanzees.
Sometimes I do crawling patterns at the gym, either someone is running into me that I didn't see or everyone is staring very oddly from afar lol
POV: my neighbor’s dog running away 1:33
8:23 so what you should probably do is, curle your fingers half way (not completely like a fist ) just so you can make the surface "flat"
I hope i helped
I really liked this one in particular because that's just a normal day for me XD
With capoeira you train with your bodyweight and the animal movement workouts are part of it so the whole crawl is just second nature for me. O covid quarantine was fun x)
I love capoeira, the feeling of watching it is amazing. It is so beautiful in person
@Shadow03 We also lay eggs
HHHHHHHmjHHHHHHHH
I practice so much doing that, and just letting you know that if you practice enough it is easier, also curl ur fingers into a fist with you thumbs at the side so u don’t break your hands
Yo Pigmie/Lucas!! Very nice to meet you! I can now do lots of one handed push ups in one go! That was a great video! I love my fitness.
I respect the hustle and the insane shit this guy does. So much that I never watch 80% of his video and just watch the ending to see if it was worth it or not 😂
1:47 I’m just dying thinking about someone driving by or a neighbor chilling outside seeing this out of context and wondering wtf is happening
You always come up with the funniest ideas. Love it! Great as usual 😊
The discipline and commitment is crazy, a frikken week!
The quadrobists in this challenge be like: YIPPEE‼️‼️🥳😆😆😆
Alternative title: Bro tryin quadrobics for a week
10:01 me coming back from the gym after leg day
As a quadrobist and ✨THERIAN✨
you usually get ✨wrist pain✨ after about.. two days of quads/Quadrobics? Which im surprised you didn't get it until day four and five, it makes doing quads a LOT harder, but most Quadrobists either rest until it goes away or keep doing quads (I kept doing quads Xd)
And a tip; Dont pound on it, move like an animal would, move your body like a cat would, shift your weight from one hand to the other, shift your shoulders, stretch and arch your back when running! Also, pad your hands with gloves! Doing quads without them could make them bleed
Fun fact; i did this but for a month and then i ALMOST forgot how to walk on two legs. :>
This is actually a sport!! Called quadrobics!! Respect to the therians who actually do this!!
Yay!! Someone realizes this!!
And I heard it actually trains your whole body too!
@@PouchyTheCanadianAlpacayup!! I feel great after doing them for 8 months😭😭
His lucky it wasn’t sunny outside 😂 can’t imagine him putting his hands on the pavements 😭
ive been a quadrobist for about a year and this is actually really impressive!!
Bro summoned the whole therian community 💀💀💀
The uncurled fingers💀👍
IKR 💀
Tip: don't stick your behind up in the air, bend your hind legs more and it will make everything feel lighter
As a quadrobist and therian, this is very interesting and impressive since it took like a week to do atleast simple quadrobics, keep your amazing work up! ❤
this was awesome and i think its fair that u did 5 days because it is interesting to see and know that the 2 days after are like an adjustment period back to bipedalism so you can really reflect on the entire effects of the challenge
