Can you go back and explain what a Black Diamond and a "Henly-eye" are?? It would help me understand these hybrid pups.
Just went back and watched your last feeding video. I guess I need the P-14 and "Bosmanee" explained too. These are different breeds?? Or lines within a breed?? Or coloring within one breed?? Sorry, I know dogs but not fish.

Firstly, thanks for educating people like me, trying to learn about these animals. If you are looking for BD patterns in the pups, why hybridize at all? Lack of pure BD matrices? Fix health issues? Achieve a different size? Is there a specific goal in the hybridization, while still trying to keep the BD physical appearance? Thanks again.

What do you feed them when they are new born
The same thing as the big ones, just smaller pieces from what I've seen...Worms are a good starter, but I almost spoiled mine on them & had a little bit of a hard time transitioning him to shrimp & fish, etc., like kids just wanting snack food, he didn't want supper lol...It was a very good experience due to all of Kevin's generous videos that are just full of everything he's experienced in his 1000s of hours of raising and breeding these beautiful, majestic fish.

More female babies, congratulations. They move quite quickly for a baby. I'mf surprised the adults don't go to protect the pups from being scooped up in the net, are they not protective of their offspring then?
