      Right, each tank needing to cycle atleast 4X per hour. But I think selling 4-6 inch rays for 600-1000 each makes up for it lol

    at 9:30 was the camera intentionally left at that angle with stingray? you were talking about an albino stingray but all i saw was a stingray against the glass. the format for this video was kind of weird so i wasn't sure if it was youtube glitching or just how the video was recorded with a lot of voice over.

    I'm actually kinda surprised he didn't mention a good temp for breeding, maybe he just forgot because he keeps his facility at a constant temperature. In my experience as well as many other ray keepers I know, even some breeders in Europe, the warmer the water is, the more likely they are to breed. I've found that they won't really do much breeding below 77F°

    what an amazing set up thanks so much for all the great info! Iv been really thinking about getting a Fresh water ray but I know what it takes to keep such a wonderful creature.... Id never forgive myself if I killed it though and I assume that is a good possibility, for a first time ray keeper... but Joey's channel is my fish keeping go to and I just do what he say and so far no fish have ever died in my main tank... sooo I'm definitely thinking about it...thanks again guys!

    • @cjday573
      @cjday573 7 лет назад +3

    • @ThisOneCassie
      @ThisOneCassie 7 лет назад +4

      There's only 12 inches in a foot 16 inches is only a foot and four inches witch is not over two feet

    • @KC-pt3oh
      @KC-pt3oh 6 лет назад +2

      Cassiopia B the diameter of the ray and the length from tip to tail are different things. He said the DIAMETER was 16 inches and the LENGTH FROM TIP TO TAIL was over two feet. They were two separate measurements.
