its good that he highlighted that drug affinity is not always wanting to fit in, but the euphoria you experience. This is why drug affinity can happen to everyone, regardless of your background or surrounding - euphoria.
i saw shaun's story on tt, and was really rooting for him. he's articulate, clearly intelligent and repentant. not all of us are lucky enough to have the parents we want, but there's still light at the end of the tunnel. thank you so much for interviewing him (and the host, for being so zen and empathetic). i wish for him and his children to to have the best lives forward.

Thanks for sharing your story, congratulations on your 4 years clean. It's not an easy thing to do, but your story is proof that it works if you work at it.
My friend introduced me to his moving services! No wonder I found him so familiar. And what he shared is spot on. Punctual n efficient. He even gave me tips on packing to make better use of my boxes😅
Very lucky you're in S'pore and not addicted to Heroin. People will say all drugs are the same and addicts will always be addicts. Wrong. It's the addictions that we need to tackle. And the "War on Drugs" was lost again and again. Ronald Reagan tagline Just Say No is BS. Government should educate us about ADDICTION. Alcohol is a drug too, incl tobacco. Legal or illegal, again, it's the ADDICTION - just a 2 cents from a recovering addict
Amazing turnaround. While I respect him for being able to fit into society and do well, I am not very sure about over-glorifying ex-convicts. This can very well open up a pandora's box. This may well be viewed as "hey if Shaun and Simonboy can turnaround their life and be famous as an ex-con, so can I"
