I try to most of the time 😅 Especially with dressing rooms closed now
They all need to do this. Maybe they can finally move merchandise. They overprice so much in many communities I stopped shopping them and moved on to other thrift stores which have reasonable pricing.
You need to wear the practical thrift shopping outfit which is leggings, tank top and slip on shoes.
This is the best way to be able to do some fast - no changing room - try ons.
Before I watch the whole video , I wish people didn’t get greedy and just pick up everything to resell . This really grinds my gears lol
My thoughts too. I'm a single parent with two teenagers. I thrift all our clothes. Resellers making it even harder anymore. 5 years ago Thrifting was my little secret. Now everyone does it

I agree not be to be greedy! But there is an endless supply of clothing that ends up in landfills. So I think good that people buy a lot of clothing from thrift stores (even if it is to resell) because it is helping the environment.❤️

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. If you have an eye what can resell for more and you invest the time, its a legit great side hustle.

I LOVE Goodwill. I go there at least 3 times a week. I've found clothes from stores like Nordstrom with tags still attached at 5 dollars, brand new nine west shoes, etc. It's a treasure trove!! 😍😍😍

yes! definitely not vintage (it could be from the 2000s but it looks more modern). One way to identify vintage is to look at where it was made. If it was made in China it would indicate it probably isn't vintage.

My local Goodwill changed their tags shortly before the pandemic. I first thought was "there goes all the bargains!" They also started sifting out the name brands that I used to find. I still shop there, but it doesn't feel the same. No scores of the day or week anymore.
Gwill is changing in my area no more 50% tags.

One of these days we are going to run into each other? I’m literally at the thrift store every other day and shop at some of the same stores you shop at! I went to this sale Friday and the line was wrapped around the building at 8:30! But I heard Saturday everything was $5. Nashville is definitely a great area to thrift!
Loving the pieces you chose! The cream sweater is amazing! The black feather top is so great! You can keep that forever and bring it out every year feathers are trending. :) Those black knee boots fit you like a glove! That style boot is always something I look for when thrifting. Knee boots are classic!

I am watching thrifting videos because I miss it. Since march I move back to my family house in the country. I am safe and able to go for a run every morning in the nature. But I really miss those stores.

Love the chunky cream sweater. I'm on a hunt for one myself. The "BDG" tag on the London bus shirt is a brand sold at Urban outfitters. The feather sleeve shirt is so cute! I hope you don't get buyer's remorse for leaving that sailor top behind. It was sooo good. The leather blazer is a good wardrobe staple imo.

Oh my goodness- the best designer’s sale. I was geeking out with you. All you chose were all great - I liked the most is the iridescent riding boots.
Love the silver boots. We can’t try anything on in some of our thrift stores not even over our clothes. A man was called out by a manager in SA when he tried on a jacket and the manager said, sir please don’t try anything on. Now we have to take it upstairs and leave it there for 14 days. I thought that was pretty ridiculous and if you do buy it can’t exchange it coz it’s final sale. Anyway, helps to know your measurements, now I take a tape measurement with me when I thrift.
That’s so smart! They don’t mind here. They even had a rack to hang any unwanted things on if you try on over your clothes 😂 Think they’re doing that mostly so they don’t have to clean the small dressing rooms after every use. But they even have a 14 days return policy here!

Oh gosh....you should have gotten those striped pants. They looked so good, and that was over something! They'd have been great on their own, I think. The cable knit fisherman's sweater is beautiful. You should up your makeup to something a little darker and more pronounced so the color of the sweater doesn't erase your face. Loved those gray lounge pants. The white button-down shirt is a great classic. The black boots were great...such a deal! The leather blazer looks great on you. Classic and classy. Some great finds!!

Also, you could try the tunic length white button-up with the cream fisherman's sweater (worn long). I think the white and cream contrast might be cute, I saw someone else do that once with black tights and loved it.

Which Goodwill in Nashville were you thrifting at in the second half of the video? I’m from here and don’t recognize that one at all (and I’m a very regular thrifter). Obsessed with the silver snakeskin boots you got and squealed as you were digging them out. Would have loved that fringe coat for myself as I’ve been looking for one for years. The tommy boots looked super cute in you (and I’m old enough to remember when those first became popular in the late 90s/wary 2000s). Love your style just found your page today, but I will definitely say hey if I see you out filming sometime!

If I were you, I would get the measurements of your favorite pair of pants/ skirts that you have to home and write them down or put them in your phone. You’ll also want carry a little tape measure with you in your purse. If you like something but you aren’t sure it will fit, you can just grab your little tape measure and measure it.
