Richard Mille is such a good advertiser because the first time I noticed their watch was on Lando's wrist and I thought to myself what a sick design for a watch, I then started seeing it more often on the F1 track especially Grosjean's signature Red Richard Mille. But yeah Richard Mille's unique design is probably the reason I even noticed their watch.
Jackie Stewart wasn’t sponsored by Rolex in the 1950s; his Grand Prix debut wasn’t until 1965. It’s worth mentioning that The big time keeper/sponsor of the 1950s (and 1960s) was Longines.
to my knowledge, Richard Mille requires their drivers to wear the watches while racing to showcase how they can perform in conditions where most watches wouldn't be ideal.
