wow, i have lots of respect for this guy. He did a lot of bodywork that I would probably never dare to do. I think he also learned why paint prep is important. He repainted like half the car. This is what it's all about. Tackling a project by yourself in a small garage. It doesn't have to be perfect, but he did it , he did it for cheap, and its paid off.

I search up car builds on RUclips and usually when a car catches my eyes or the sound of it or whatever I just search up that car on yt and put “build” after its name. Like for the first car I got into I searched up “240sx build” and saw a bunch of results. From there you can look at the engine, this and that. Also whenever you’re confused about something youtube got all the answers for you. Even understanding how the engine works and what does what. Look at visuals of them from RUclips and it’ll help you a lot. @abdel_ls_ on Instagram if you need any help.
Oh Lord, I had a 1998 Supra and do I wish I would have kept it!!! Last year I did buy a 1999 Tacoma, 4x4, 2.7 manual 5 spd. Air and Cruise, with only 81,000 miles, like new! Butter smooth. Loving that little truck. The truck was bought new with a topper placed on day one. Box is flawless.
I’ll always support videos like this. It just goes to show that there’s guys out there who aren’t afraid to put in some elbow grease. And you know this guy will always be 10x more connected with this car than anyone who sends theirs off to a shop to be built for them.

For example he could have invested in a proper paintgun, instead of spray paint which generally looks pretty bad if used on big scale. Also the man literally used hand drying paper as painters paper (or whatever its called in english). And like i said you could definetly see him improve through out the vid like using wrap instead of paint. Huge respect to him. Just saying meaby just meeeaby you shouldn't cheap out on everything. And thats why i say ghetto instead of self made.
so ur work is to pause it and look properly its the same weather if they show you for 1 sec or 5 minutes just pause it and look at i properly and they took one or two week to make this car but they fadt forwarded to 10 minutes video so they show the car just for a sec 💯

@@PhilWithSuper well it's the layers upon layers of spray paint. I was hoping for a full on sanding, primer, 3 layer paint followed by 2-3 layer of clear coat. Though that can be done in the future of course if you haven't yet.

I’m stunned! The fact that the build was such a backyard hodgepodge and came out looking as good as it did! I for one give him a ton of credit to take on such a monumental task as bringing that Supra back to life and fabricate some of the parts. Just wow! Personally I would have done it back to original but to each his own. I applaud you for a job well done! Something to be proud of BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
