Man that is a clean body. I have a 1975 and the floors were rusted through along with the kick plates, and it's a TN bronco (southern) truck. These things are just hard to find in good shape.
Yea man I hear ya! Motor, trans, tcase & diff have all been gone through since. Still in the midst of finishing the seat frames, then I’ll get some seat times
Nice find. Not a big Ford guy but would take that Bronco over any Exploder.😲😂. 302 one solid motor, carburetated era minor ignition issues was about it. Definitely no whitewalls, that's Bronco II stuff. ( my opinion). Diesel trick I like. We used to use Marvel Mystery Oil. Let sit for days, especially on junkyard motors or anything sitting for extended times. Then gentle back and forth by hand. Try to keep from breaking rings. Need a cuda update some day. Unless I missed it. 👍👍
Apparently those exploders came with 5 Litres.. Good swaps for Ford Rangers! 302 seems to be solid little motor, don’t have big plans for the engine, seems happy as it is. I’ve heard of marvel mystery oil, never used it, diesel is cheaper.. As for the Cuda, it’s to the side for now. Back on its wheels, but body and paint comes next! Thanks for the comment man.
@@OldSchoolMotorsportsCa yeah I get the point.😄. Just being nostalgic. They all got issues. Just the tools cost more and the space to work on them gets tighter. Like stretching a gnats arse over a rain barrel. Anyway thanks for reply and update on cuda. Have fun, be safe and appreciate your sharing.
Great videos Uncle Josh - Gunther

Right on man, Im happy to hear you like it!
Hahaha that's hilarious, "and it has a 302 with a... wasps nest " haha
Didn’t add much horsepower, so I didn’t put it back on! ;)
Very interesting
That’s how I try to keep it!
That unloading went worse than it should have.. lol.
Thanks for the comment!
Great find, be sure to give the cooling system a thorough go over before the burn outs!
