How to enlarge the size of the waist on jeans

Here is how to enlarge the size of the waist on jeans with a piece of wide elastic.
We've been using this fix for a while now and our clients seem to prefer it over enlarging the waist with denim fabric pieces.
But you can follow the same steps to make the fix with denim if you prefer.
This alteration can be done only at the waist area or you can go lower towards the hips if you need to.
