Thanks for the reaction. Dimash not only is a great singer, also is a great performer. He can sing in at least 12 languages. On each concert, he sings in French (S.O.S.) Italian (Olimpico), Russian( Sinful Passion), (The love of tired swans), Kazakjs (Unforgetable day or Give me love), English (Stranger or Mademoiselle Hyde) Chinesse (Autum strong or Battle of Memories) even without lyrics (Ave Maria). He is another level of singer
After the next concert he can sing in 17 languages but speaks only Kasakh, Russian, a bit Chinese mandarin, and is starting to get very well in English too.

I speak french and I think he'll sing in english ('cause french is very difficult !) I'm from Montreal, Canada. But we can speak english and french :) .

You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of Dimash's talent and ability. He has performed songs in 15 languages; Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Sicilian, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, Arabic, and Japanese. Besides his native Kazakh tongue, he speaks fluent Russian, which is still an official language in most former Soviet Republics. Dimash is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin, which he says is a challenging language to learn. Dimash plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. He usually performs for more than two hours during live concerts and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles.
A good professional vocalist has a range of about 3 octaves. According to some analysts, Diamsh's range is over 7 octaves (A1-D8), spanning across all four registers. He has continued to hone his skills and fine-tune and perfect his already unbelievable abilities even more. There does not seem to be a limit to what he can achieve vocally. I am excited to follow his journey. Dimash may go down in history as the most extraordinary vocal talent known to man. I cannot think of anyone, past or present, capable of doing what Dimash is capable of. I am still waiting on someone to name a single individual even remotely close to Dimash's mastery.
If you want to follow Dimash's career progression over the last five years, here is a song list I usually recommend in semi-chronological order: S.O.S. (d'un Terrien en détresse), either the Slavic Bazaar or the 2017 "I Am A Singer" version. His covers from the same competition of Lara Fabian's "Adagio," Eric Carmen's 1975 "All by Myself" (repopularized by Celine Deion), and Freddie Mercury's "The Show Must Go On." Also, from the same show, Confessa & Diva Dance, Opera 2, Daididau, Daybreak, and Autumn Strong. His "I Am A Singer" 2018 guest performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is a must. Then there is Sinful Passion (Greshnaya Strast), Love is like a Dream (2018 Moscow performance), Your Love, Diva Dance (Bastau Concert), Across Endless Dimensions (either the movie trailer or his internet live concert performance), and Know (both the regular performance as well as the vocalise). His more operatic-sounding performances are Ti Amo Cosi (with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina), Ulisse (Duet w/Aida Garifullina), Tu Vas Me Détruire (duet w/Sundet Baigojin), Question of Honour (duet w/Zarina Altynbayeva), and the aforementioned Olimpico (Ogni Pietra).
His traditional and Chinese songs are also impressive: Adai+Daididau, Samal Tau (2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival), Qairan Elim (Holy Land), Elim Menin (My Homeland), Karagym-ai, Thousand of Miles - A Common Dream, and Ómir Óter. And then there are Drunken Concubine & Diva Dance (duet with Li Yugang), Without You, Love Of Tired Swans, Where Love Lives, Unforgettable Day (Gakku Concert), I Miss You, Passione, Give Me Love, Marigold, Golden, Mademoiselle Hyde, Screaming, his latest music video "Be With Me," just to name a few.
His more recent songs, "Fly Away," "Stranger," and "Ave Maria," recently debuted live at New Wave 2021, and the latter two are on a whole new level. Dimash performs an alternate version of "Stranger" on the "Shine! Super Brothers S2" Youku Show that is simply mind-boggling and well worth checking out. Dimash also recently released "Ikanaide,'' performed during the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival live stream, which is absolutely incredible. He sings in nearly flawless Japanese.
His latest release, “The Story of One Sky,” is a 13+ minutes mini movie masterpiece that will lead you on an emotional rollercoaster and leave you spellbound. It is possibly Dimash’s best work today and took three years to complete. It showcases all of Dimash’s vocal skills, spans across all four registers, and covers a wide range of genres and vocal techniques. I would suggest watching the live performance fan cam footage of the song if you want to evaluate his vocal performance. The music video’s visuals and storyline are so impressive and emotional that it can be overwhelming and quite difficult to focus on the vocals. Avoid any performance from "The World's Best." The show in L.A. was utterly disgraceful. The production team edited and cut all of Dimash's performances down to 2 minutes and cut out his Kazakh song for no reason.
Igor Krutoy, the renowned Ukrainian/Russian music composer, performer, producer, and promoter, came out of retirement after witnessing Dimash's 2018 guest performance of "Sinful Passion" at the New Wave competition. They have frequently corroborated on projects ever since. Igor Krutoy composed this song for Dimash to perform at the opening of the 2nd European Olympic games in Minsk, Belarus, on June 21, 2019. "Olimpico," or "Ogni Pietra," was performed in Italian by Dimash. Ogni means "every, each, or all," and Pietra means "stone or rock." The song is essentially an address to the athletes, exhorting them to do their best in competition, and urging them to believe in themselves.

People are often impressed by the ability to sing in different languages, but thousands of people do it routinely, in choirs and glee clubs. It's memorizing nonsense syllables to music and knowing the general meaning of the song even when you don't know the language at all. Much love

He has performed songs in 13 languages, Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, and Japanese. He speaks Kazakh and Russian and is studying English and Mandarin, although his English is really really good now, you can see his progression in English when you compare songs he performed in English 5 years back to his more recent songs, such as Stranger which he released about a year ago.
He regularly sings in concerts in Kazakh, Russian, Chinese, English, French, Spanish and some songs without words. But occasionally he will sing a song in the language of the country he's performing in. In Turkey he sang a Turkish song, in Armenia he sang an Armenian folk song. For the Japanese Jazz festival he sang a Japanese song. But as for knowing a language to talk, well that's Kazakh, Russian and English. And a bit of Chinese (very difficult language). His next concert is in Malaysia so we will see if he sings in their language.
I love Dimashs emotional performances. His in studio version of Ikanaide and his in concert version of Daididau get me every single time as does his I Am Singer version of SOS. What adds to his art for me is his humility,desire for human unity and genuine goodness as a human being.

He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is pretty good in English with only the odd error now and then and speaks a little Chinese.
This is one of the first collaborations between Dimash and composer Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement to work with him. I love it when the song is written to display Dimash’s range, both his vocal range and his range of techniques.
Incidentally, the guy in the thumbnail at the end of the song is Dmitri Hvorostovsky, who was one of the most brilliant operatic baritones I’ve ever heard. You definitely should check him out.

Fantastic reaction! This is truly an epic experience, I can not imagine seeing this live, one day, hopefully I will. Dimash continues to develop his vocals, so the most recent video from the Almaty concert has even more matured vocals, which is almost incomprehensible. So many years of dedication, Dimash just turned 29 on May 24th, but the worldwide audience, diversity of nationalities and languages and age’s of his fan’s, his impact is more than his talent, his morals, humanity, respect, generosity, and humility is just amazing. The love for Dimash I believe is so much because of his character, his unifying efforts, being an Ambassador of Peace, this takes Dimash to a different level, so to understand the love and respect his fan’s have for Dimash, learning about his character really explains everything. У Димаша 24.06.2023 пройдёт 4й из запланированных 20ти концертов мирового турне Stranger. Первый прошёл в Казахстане ( мне посчастливилось быть на этом концерте). Уже в этом году были сольники в Армении и Турции. А 4й пройдет в Малайзии и Диарс со всех уголков планеты летят в Куала-Лумпур чтобы окунуться в атмосферу музыки Димаша ❤❤❤❤

Igor Krutoy is a very famous Russian composer, who came out of retirement when he heard Dimash and is writing much of Dimash’s music (incl this one).. Stranger is just as epic
Dimash- sings in aboutv16 languages 15 at 1st, but since then has added Japanese and Armainian ( not sure of dpelling) he speaks 5 poss more. His English is gr8 now, I love the little hic cups hooe he never looses them. Plays at least 8 instruments , writes lyrics, composes music. Igor Krotoy n D r really good friends, Igor came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash's voice. With the russka at war, think at present it seems to hve stopped. Igor and Dimash work closely together with everything they do. Eg Dimash phoned Igor saying he wanted to do his version of Ave Maria on night. They discussed it dimash sharing what his ideas were then Igor n D talking it thru, by morning Igor had it finished. A lot of dimashs songs were produced together with Igor.
Dimash holds his Docorate, finished it last year, he also holds degrees in a variety of different genres. As u explore his work, u will experience all genres including rap to opera.
Over and above all this us the most humble young man, generous, honourable- I noticed u went to trouble to mention the instrumentalists, designers etc. At the end of his concerts Dimadh thanks each person in his team, introducing them to the audience encourages them to perform their own pieces etc. He ,eads many charities, he was out on the streets delivering food to people during covid - he is an ambassadors for peace, at 17years old he composed the music for his war and peace ( lyrics by someone else). He continues every now and again to produce works that make us think beyond our own lives impressing we are all as one, and shud live unconditionally and do all we can to stop violence. He has a gr8 sense of humour and thinks of himself as just a lucky young man no better than anyone else, quite genuinely.
I'll go loom at your 1st review u mentioned. He has a whole library of performances, only 29 this last may, he's always pushing his boundaries to do better.
Very recently, his " father " ( we wud call him grandfather) died, Kazakhstan's tradition is that the 1st born is brought up by the " grandpafents" - dimash refers to them as mum n dad, so it is a very deep loss as it would be too for his biological dad, both mum (opera singer) and his dad who was hugh up in the Kazakhstan artistic health of the country. Both his mum n dad support all 3 children in chosen interests, as did Dimash's "father and mother" particularity with Dimash but with rosheen a d mansur. Mansur youngest , wrote and composed the song Forgotten, which Dimash and mansur performed on stage and c

He is fluent in Kazakh, of course, Russian. He speaks a little Chinese, understands Turkish which has similarities with Kazakh, and speaks English better and better. That's all I think!! Yes, yes, yes💥. Thank you for reacting to this exact version. It‘s from his Arnau concert in Kazakhstan in 2019. Here he sings in Italian. Dimash sang this song many times after this performance as well. But honestly, some things just don’t get any better. I think this is epic. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the video and every, really every time my heart starts to race and I get goosebumps. That facial expression after singing the high notes. Wow, what a beast he can be. He then completely captivates me🫣. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. In my opinion, Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war😅.
Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.

Dimash is incredible. Love his talent and personality. His Mom Svetlana is an opera singer herself, his dad is a singer, too .In addition to his native language, Dimash has performed songs in twelve other languages: Russian, Mandarin, English, French, Ukrainian, Italian, Kyrgyz, Turkish, Serbian, German, and Spanish etc. His English is getting really good, and as I know he learnt Mandarin as well. He is fluent in Kazakh and Russian.
Interesting fact that Dimash has a mutual friend with RM, it is Jakson Wang.
Dimash speaks 3 native languages, Russian and English, and is learning Mandarin. But he sings in over 10 languages.
He has degrees in operatic singing, opera, jazz, pop, recently completed a doctorate in composition. Now he's in Los Angeles taking a film course, another art he has a passion for. Dimash is an extraordinary being, humble and very family, he loves his friends, he was appointed by Kazakhstan as ambassador of peace.
He's not taking a film course, he turned the scholarship over to someone he felt needed it more.
He's working with the composers Nathan Wang and Walter Afanasieff. He's also held meetings with David Foster and various other people from the music industry. He's also written 5 new songs since he moved there in March.

I can watch a performance by Dimash, and even if I’ve seen it over and over, it’s always like the first time. I find myself having to let out a long breath a the end. I’ve never had this reaction to another singer, especially when many of the songs are in another language. His talent surpasses language and culture differences!
