Full disclosure, I'm a Rata viewer. But beside that, I genuinely want to know the story of the guy on Shapesnatch. What's his name? His type/attribute? What was he doing before his shape got snatched? Did he have a family? Are there more mind-control bowties?
I really do wonder what other horrible power could that bowtie possibly have.
Why does he have 1200 attack? What happened for it to become an almighty 2/5ths of a Baronne?
I mean we know what happened to him, he lives with Rata now and feeds off review energy
Mark my words, Konami TCG is just waiting until they release Ojama Lime in the OCG. There will be a Shapesnatch Illusion retrain in the same set where they import Lime, maybe even give him one of those super specific pack filler spell/trap cards to expand on Shape's lore
I think we should make it manditory for Rata viewers to reveal themselfs before leaving any comment anywhere. It's just safer for the internet.
The funny thing about the examples of Visas and Diabellestar is that they weren’t actually the first cards we got of their respective lore. Clear New World was pack filler that we didn’t know would lead to Visas Lore and the same can be said about Sinful Spoils of Subversion which released the pack before Diabellestar
I really thought the guy on CNW was S Force Justify
@@fortidogi8620 You're thinking of Small World, I'm pretty sure.
I don’t even think we got the clear new world thing going full circle outside of speculation until one of the last couple Visas waves had a card that searched it. Meanwhile the snake eye spell was released, and very next set Sinful Spoils and Snake Eye both became full fledged archetypes
@@jackofaces107 Yeah, seeing the CNW in his hand in the artwork was incredibly difficult especially since he was a secret rare.
Took me forever to comprehend that it wasn't clear world 2
Always had a desire for lore about famous DM era deck monsters forced to work together even though they’re literally enemies. Like Celtic Guardian and Feral Imp trying to do teamwork or time wizard trying to hold a conversation with flame swordsman and failing. It could be throwaway bulk cards, I’d be happy.
I'm surprised they united DM and BEWD before BEWD and Red-eyes
I've always wanted more game original lore for DM anime decks ever since the Buster Blader stuff.
@@mateusrp1994 always thought there was potential in Marik’s torture deck for some cool lore connecting it together.
Those throw away bulk cards tie together, like, a few hundred cards from across the series. The generic low level normal monster support showing Gigobyte, he grows up and fights Dai Grepher, he gets caught up in the D.D. stuff, etc. Gigobyte also becomes the familiar of Eria the Water Charmer. This would tie in with the Gusto stuff, which would also get tied in to the Naturia, Shaddoll and Qli lore. Dai Grepher ties into a ton of cards through various archetypes. I could go on. It gets insane when you get all those links together.
@@Dw7freak
Actually Gigobyte becomes Eria's familiar first, then he grows and leave
Tho I don't remember him fighting Dai Grepher, his grudge was with Freed (who is the leader of the army that Marauding captain works in)
But everything else in on point, the D.Ds, The Gusto, the Shaddolls and everything that is connected to them is part of the massive Duel Terminal World.
Lord of the Missing Barrows HAS to be important. It even has the Orbs! THE ORBS!!
He is balling he has to be important
Personally I like to think that the Goblin Bikers are just annoying college frat guys and the yugioh multiverse has to just deal with them being a nuisance.
The theme reminds me of the Bowzock from Gekisou Sentai Carranger
Goblin bikers are meant to be the first "boss" In the diabelestar storyline, also we know how silly imps in fabled/magoshin/demon god literally almost wiped the entire continent if wasnt because trishula, dont judge a book by its cover..
I'm slowly discovering the DC character Lobo and they're giving me his vibes
And now they are an enabler in zombie decks...
Less frat boys, more likely a biker gang yakuza thing. Diabell has a bounty on her head, so she probably can't go to any reputable towns.
Seeing the mushroom post reminded me that I would absolutely love the "Law of the Normal" squad to get a new archetype like shining sarc
Just progressively bigger and stronger low level normal monsters till we finally get the answer to how strong of a no tribute normal monster we can have before its actually too strong.
As a Magikey player, I want to know more about the big bird Vepartu is riding, in Simul Archfiends. Also where did that massive gun came from? Vepartu only holds the Maftea and a Spiritual Pistol. There's also this Lion-ish creature Clavkiys is facing against - in Magikey Battle - and barely won against - in Magikey Locking. We also know about the Magikey World and one of the many doors it holds - in Magikey Unlocking - but what does the other doors have to us?
I wanna know more about Magikey too but simply because Maftea is both goals and _hot._ Shuraig and Rugal too. I'd (insert 10k word fanfic here) with either of them. Or all of them at once, fuck it (and me). Still genuinely want to know more about Magikey too
@@HazeEmryyou're an interesting character and I admire your confidence
@@HazeEmry same, mood and please.
I hope broomy is, indeed, a Jojo's reference
It definitely feels like it's supposed to be a reference to something.
It looks more like solidjj reference to me
In the new set, we finally get Broomy support in the form a link 1 gardening equipment, Mowseph Mowstar and an endboard piece in some electric equipment AC/DC, a literally car, and a cow that keeps eating their beautiful lawn, Wa-moo.
i thought he was just a fan of the next zoodiac
Maybe not deserving of a huge story, but I've always been puzzled by the lack of closure on the Exosister storyline. They introduce this very flavorful archetype with strong themes and a detailed background story (as per VBEX's entry) then give it two waves of micro support showing Mikailis and Kaspitell combining their powers, the two of them fighting an intimidating demon, and introducing an evil(?) Exosister who's the blood sister of the main girl of the protagonists then... nothing. It's so obvious there was supposed to be more to this story, but it stopped right before the climax: we don't have a combo card for Gibrine and Asophiel, no xyz form for Martha, and no cards depicting a confrontation with her or a resolution to the battle--Martha doesn't even appear on any other cards despite being so important to the archetype in both lore and gameplay! It's just bizarre how unfinished the whole thing feels.
I like to think that the Exosisters live in the same Universe as the Hero archetype
And while the heros protect the city and the world of all kinds of disasters and super villians; the Exosisters deal with magic and the super natural, know about the other worlds while also fight demons from other realms
@@user-sw5cy4jb4d A Certain Magical Index type beat ...but actually good xD (I wasn't fan of the magic side but the superpower side was great).
@@hat_sauce3846
Exactly.
It's also kinda wild how much konami could do with this franchise if they stopped taking it as a children product.
Yugioh could literally be the DC/Marvel of Japan if they tried hard enough.
@@user-sw5cy4jb4d fr. The big and small lores within card arts are some of the best things about the franchise yet it's treated as merely an after thought.
@@hat_sauce3846
It's so sad
Tho their new anime studio is a good sign, but their first project will probably show the direction Konami is willing to take, so lets just hope it will be good
The S-Force extended universe, it's happening! Any day now... I really need to know the origin of Lapcewell and Edge Razor!
I mean c'mon, it's related to Time Thieves, Psy-Frame, Mascarena...
another :p monster thats game changing plus another wave of terrible S-force support coming right up alongside it. No seriously i didn't think it was possible to make a deck that bad
@@okita_souji_alter being an S-Force enthusiast is like cheering for those cards to get the fuck out of there.
Professor DiGamma is the whole Psy-Frame archetype after work. My girl Chiyomaru resigned and became the best extra deck monster for anything ever. I:P got an Android of her made and it's the worst link-1 to ever be gifted to an archetype...
Little Night?
@@ashblossomandjoyoussprung.9917 we got a bit of S:P lore from the lore booklet they make actually. Chiyomaru didn't want to hunt Mascarena even though she was a interdimentional menace, openly declaring that made Lapcewell make the S-Force Night chaser, and so Chiyo resigned to help Mascarena out. That's the resolution in Small Scuffle.
I mean that one isnt really some hot take, Time thieves and psy frames are on the more popular side of things, and :p cards have been the new knightmares, si theyll probably print more support, and thus indireclty more lore
since S-Force is connected to them, this one is expectable compared to some other things people are mentioning
Honestly Visas is my favorite of the "main focus" lore series by far, like it's not even close, and every aspect of the themeing was left incomplete. I really want to see them finish it.
Two planets, two attributes, two summoning mechanics of Ritual/Pendulum (Veda is not an incarnation of Visas) and for the source inspirations it's missing multiple avatars of Vishnu (admittedly, it's unlikely that Visas would get all 10 but at least 6 would make sense - of the remaining 6, the latter half are all specific individuals who are not easy to convey in card art so of the clear ideas you could have a boar, a tortoise, and a dwarf left as inspirations for the WIND and EARTH Visases), 6 Realms of Buddhism, 6 emotions. Not to mention that the story, while the conclusion is FITTING, doesn't actually end with the villain being defeated but with Visas ready to go for a second run. It makes sense for the themes of the lore but I can't help but imagine that maybe the negative reception to Tear and Kshatrira might have gotten Visas shortchanged and have the intended story cut short.
Putting it aside, I think that it would only be rightful that the next lore would focus on a protag who focuses on Xyz. World Legacy was Link, the overhyped dragons were Fusion, Visas took a while to get there but settled on Synchro, and Bell seems to just be fine as "an engine piece" being her ultimate fate.
I think that in the current day that it's obvious that the protag of the new lore will tend to be a specific monster, with a distinctive name and usually with an effect that is decent enough to run in multiple decks. The design will be very "anime protagonist" so not like Duel Terminal whose closest thing to a "central protagonist" was, like, Gem-Knight Crystal. Under this paradigm the best candidate in a recent set would probably be E Stranger Big Bang.
Did we ever get the Insect Knight lore of the Indestructible Insect Invaders? "We can no longer ignore their unmatched battle prowess" Who is the 'we' in this scenario? who is documenting this outbreak? let's get on it Konami.
Insect knight might just be a member of beetroopers
Give us more Gagaga lore! (Yes, I am completely serious.)
We got MFers who practice Martial Arts, Spellcasting, Katana Sword Fighting, Sharpshooting, Lightning Bending, and Necromancy who all go to the EXACT SAME ACADEMY within seemingly close proximity with the societies of the Dwarfs, Blade-Weilding Warriors, Sentient Earth Constructs, and Mecha-Like Envoys of Hope.
WHY HAVE WE NOT RECEIVED LORE ABOUT THESE GUYS YET?!
Unfortunately anime archetypes almost never get lore for some god forsaken reason
I love lore decks, it makes extremely fun exploring the story and trying to combine the pieces into a deck even though some are easier then others. for example visas:1deck,dracho:2, ,albaz:3,zefra:4(that one was the hardest with 25 Archetypes)
Atrocious apartment would be the pack that they released the different C's
ALSO there's Denko Sekka.
Her effect prevents set spells and traps from activating and her spell that showcases her prevents your other s/t's from activating, only her's and other copies of it.
Imagine she has a whole storyline of just fighting other archetypes but going the Heavy Gong style of no s/t's allowed, except only mine.
My "Protecting Spirit Loagaeth" pick has been noticed. I feel so accomplished.
When the original Geariano came out in Generation Force, I always thought it was a shame they didn't make him into an archetype. Lo and behold, Return of the Duelist said "I gochu fam" a year later.
Remember when Sinful Spoils of Subversion was a VAYLANTZ support? Good times, good times.
5:16 - Isn't that just Subterror?! It's okay Subterror, I will always love you even if everyone else forgets you exist.
Side note the We Bare Bears MBT intro should be the permanent new intro.
I'm surprised we've practically done next to nothing with illusion. Like cyberse was such a big thing when it released but illusion felt like it was kinda just chucked into the game. Like the "spirit" of minster types
Nah Cyberse was just the exception
Illusion has gotten pretty much the same kind of treatment as Psychic and Wyrm did when they first started
eh, illusion i can understand, it’s just reforging a type that should’ve been. tho i do hope to get lore from it
@@elemomnialpha and honestly Id prefer it to take Wyrm route rather than Cyberse one
Wyrms have had 3 archetypes by now, and they have all ben relevant and unique and fun and with cool designs, that arent xenophobic to anything except their own archetype, but also arent insanely splashable, the balance between cards allowing some creative deck building while also not being too generic
and aside form them, they had enough decent standalone good cards
with archetype that small, this is actually a very big W from Konamis side
I know I'm a glazer for them. The Ursarctics (+Drytrons. ) There's too many questions for there not to be some kind of unexpanded lore for these two. You're telling me there's two different sets of mechanized animals out there in space with no explanation?
Where did they come from? Why are they in space? They're connected, but not enemies, as they teamed up (Urastron Alpha and Flagship). Why did they decide to team up and have their fusion of both their ships? They must've known they could combine. Who is their main enemy? Who did they have to team up against?
Where does Polari get its power from? As it's Polari's energy that causes the Ursarctics to transform and turn into their Synchro forms, and the two ships to combine.
Septentrion's effect is oddly specific, too. Going after specifically non level extra deck monsters? (Zeus and Typhon, Perhaps?) And why does Polar Star add the rest of the extra deck? (Can't think of another space faring archetype with a synchro/fusion extra deck.)
I think is pretty clear Fiendsmith is the next lore archetype. Now, the question is, is it connected to Diabellestar? One is a Devil May Cry reference and the other a Bayonetta reference...
@@Ragnarok540 i sure as hell hope not. I dont want another excuse to make snake eyes more broken than it already is
So far nothing is pointing at it being the next lore archetype with how it's only gotten support for 1 name and that is fiendsmith
@@MetronaJ Fiendsmith got a dedicated lore blurb in Vjump, which is something they usually only do for major lore archetypes. Usually, if cards are one-off storylines, those only get revealed in VBEX year(s) later.
@@JamesNintendoTurd hmmm
Interesting
But it's weird if it were the new major lore archetype cause normally they would get a second archetype by their second pack
But all fiendsmith got was... 2 new fiendsmith cards
@@MetronaJ I mean, Sky Strikers got their own manga, and they're not related to other names afaik.
The WBB intro was like 5 times longer than it needed to be and I'm here for it, next we're just gonna have a full home of Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends with the letters MBT on all the characters' faces
The newly revealed Apodrakosis crds seemed primed to have lore with them. Each of the Ascension gates have several monsters of the associated types around them, and seeing their war and possibly other dragon adjacent cards would be really neat as the battles scale up between them
might be my favorite intro. Well Done Dire!
I was hoping the TCG was going to do this when Pitknight Earlie released. Now we also have Pitknight Filly, but it's not exactly an Archetype, despite "Pitknight" sounding archetypal as fuck.
Edit: dang someone actually brought them up
Honestly, I'd like to see something about the Elemental HEROs. Like, what caused their group to form, who are their villains, what their dynamic with the other HERO cards is like. We have some basis, like one card depicts Sparkman in a junkyard that could easily act as a cover for their base of operations, there are clearly people who call on them with the HERO Signal, they've had some highs and lows as shown with Fake Hero... you've got a lot to work with.
6:50 look at apprentice magician and tell me broomy is not the same guy
I really want Konami explore more story about Dragon Horn Hunter(later become Dragon Core Hexer).
Story about Dragonslayer to save her village but in the end become Dragon who despite by people.
Man
I hope Konami do that in the manga some day, but I'm afraid that they can't make a dark story since the Yugioh is suppose to be kids friendly
Shortly after this video released, Mad Hacker showed up as a cameo in the MALICE archetype.
Personally I wanna know the lore of Zefra metaltron. Dracoslayers storyline and the duel terminal storyline have zero connection other than this card and yet we have yet to get a follow-up that explains.
I always thought the cards "Eka the Flame Buddy", "Sari of the Silverwing Axe", and maybe "Adularia of the June Moon" might be related to one another and get some weird card lore equivalent to Grepher, but it never came.
Wasnt magistus teased to be the next big story with chorozo's reveal? Seemed pretty clear cut and would probably include witchcrafter and endymion
For my answer tho Night's End Sorcerer would be a funny one especially since there's only two cards
Chorozo's reveal was likely because Magistus is getting it's own manga. Similar to how a ton of Sky Striker support came out because of the Sky Striker manga
@@RamixTheRed ah ok i just misunderstood it then. Anyway manga means more cards so im looking forward to it. Magistus Zoroa synchro is so damn cool
It was fucking confirmed rilliona was turned loli and Crowley did a Gon freecss.
It will include Witchcrafters, Endymion/Mythical Beasts, Invoked/Spellbooks and hopefully a new archetype for Zoroa since the 4 original magistus monsters were initially a team that went their separate ways.
@@babradI need that invoked support stat
Beaver warrior lore
Loise
6:45 sorta reminds me of Duke Devlin’s head band from the anime but at the same I’d have to agree it looks more like the jojo guy.
Would be funny if krishnerd lore is just continuation of Dai's multiverse trip (Daiving into the Multiverse?)
I've been vouching for dimensional allotrope varis SINCE RELEASE. Such a cool card
Yeah and the materiactors too holy shit. They're relatively old at this point and they have literally only ouroboros and gigadra???
I was featured on an MBT video, my life is complete
I know this might be a weird pick, which is why I didn't put it on the thread, but I would've wanted to see more of the "Anotherverse" cards. I know they're the prize cards for the last two YCSs, but calling them both "Anotherverse" and having them deal with Dimensions definitely gives them promise for the concept of lore. I highly, HIGHLY doubt it though.
I used to use a japanese copy of Shapesnatch and act like he could transform into monsters and use their effects and attacks back in middle school Yu-Gi-Oh.
We Bare Bears reference 👀
dragon horn hunter / dragon core hexer still has no lore associated with her, yet she received a random support card in Rise Of The Duelist (ROTD) called "revenge rally" where she appears to be taking down a Masked Dragon (which of course has a counterpart, Unmasked dragon.
why is masked dragon the revenge hit? why is she beaten and hurt in the horn hunter artwork? what came of the dragons? which came first, the masked or unmasked? so many questions, and its clearly in their mind if they're willing to make a card for them in ROTD. why does she only have 1 pend version. why is hexer a level 8 tuner? why does the trap equip to opponants cards and makes you draw cards?? SO many questions.
also, i see wanabee getting sober after her drunk night and having to trace back what traps she set and people she met throught the previous night that she simply cannot remember
I think some archetypes could work as anime, like Libromancer, Vendread, and maybe Dream Mirror.
the Goblins are clearly the Spriggans of Diabelle lore
there's only 2 acceptable answer: 1. Denko Sekka. Denko Sekka stops set spell/trap from activating, Sekka's Light is an actual Pot of Greed as long as you dont have S/T in GY. make an entire Sekka archetype that revolves around Monster Cards that can be discarded to activate effects or put into backrow or be in the field spell because our MC is allergic to Spell/Trap. 2. Grepher. because he is Guts from Berserk (at home)
Warrior Dai Grepher has an entire story in random spell and trap cards over the years and ties into a ton of archetypes. List any archetype with any crossover before Link era and Dai Grepher probably has a connection to it somehow. Heck, he can connect Mokey Mokey to Zefra.
Denko Sekka, though, I think is only one 2 cards: herself and Sekka's Light. She feels like she should be expanded on.
@@Dw7freak my thing with Grepher is his rivalry with DD Warrior Lady, and his mysterious past. all of his appearance in all the random S/T cards didn't explain anything about him and having a dedicated 6-9 set of support of a retrained Grepher story is great. Sekka radiates MC energy, and a female MC energy that possibly gives birth to waves of support for Waifu Deck that wll definitely sell
I haven't heard Custom Robo cycled through the various 'editor using old game music' machine yet. I think hearing that activated me like a sleeper agent. I can hear the 'voice lines', this is the early game exposition bgm.
I wanna see more of I:P and S:P and the weird cyberpunk city they're in. We know Redoer is there, and hell I bet the You're Finished girl is there. But still I wanna see more.
There are also all the psyframes
I:P and S:P are from the S-Force and PSY-Frame lore.
I wouldn't be surprised if rescue rabbit and friends got their own archetype since they're practically the mascots of yugioh nowadays, Sucks that theres nothing really nothing that connects them together
I actually really agree with the post-credits one. I would really like to see a crossover between Labrynth, Diabell, and Adventure. Adventure Token, the Gryphon, and Goblin Biker becoming best friends after a misunderstanding turns into a fight. Water Enchantress and Illegal Knight going into the Larbrynth and being greeted by one of the maids.
Howdy, my entry to this is the Apokdrakosis archetype. I mean, an archetype that’s Drake + Apotheosis (the achieving of Perfection) seems like a pretty important thing, especially with the archetype having 3 gates to explore and the boss of the archetype being the first Ritual Pendulum. I’m fully expecting a later addition to this that is the scale 13 to the current bosses scale 0
Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon connects Ancient Gear to the duel terminal lore and it has never been elaborated on. A support wave depicting the ancient gears picking up the scraps of the other duel terminal machine archetypes to create stronger ancient gear monsters would be so cool… Unfortunately Konami forgot about this and will probably just release a retrain Ancient Gear Explosive in like 5 years for the next support wave.
Antihuman is such a cool card hoping for the opposite scale
I kind of want to see more D/D/D lore cards. Their whole deal making contracts with different monsters. Maybe Wave High King Ceasar can make a deal with the Unchained to get him on the field more often. Diabellestar can meet up with Gilgamesh to put cards in the spell/trap zone. That kind of stuff.
Sickest fucking intro holy shit pay dire more
I think the intros are underappreciated. Only intros I don't skip.
3:21 oh yeah famous yugioh card Gavis Bettel. Also how did no one mention Skull Servant/Wight?
1:43 The attack on Torrington Base was such a cool part of Gundam Unicorn
This may be the venom fan speaking but I’d really like to see more lore regarding Myutants. Given the last bit we see of the Myutant is growing to an enormous scale, I wonder how much of the planet they took over and how life is altered because of them. Maybe some surviving scientists come back and try to make an anti-venom for the Myutants to try and fight back while the Myutants try to signal for their original home world. There’s a lot you can do with myutants and we’ve only scratched the surface of it.
The dude describing his Primordial Idea is just describing every Duel Terminal story
based
About the Zeus and Typhon thing, Typhon is actually the name of one of Zeus’ children in greek mythology.
WHERES THE LAST LAB GIRL KONAMI?
Pity unleashed:
when a 'Pity' is destroyed on the field, reveal this card in your hand, grave, deck of banishment, you win the duel, this effect cannot be negated.
6:27 Two things I'd like to point out.
1. These thing is straight up a Tech Genus card. It's a Level 2 Synchro Tuner with the quick synchro effect. It even follows the TG naming convention of [TG] [adjective related to machines] [noun designating its typing], ex: TG Gear Zombie. Seems like they forgot to put TG in its name.
2. Its discard effect doesn't say how many Spells or Traps it's supposed to target. It should say 1.
Darkstorm Dragon. we even see it on Rider Of The Storm Winds card art. how did she tame it? were did it come from? is it a good dragon or is it only after rampaging and destruction which is why Rider tamed it to make use of it's power?
I hope all the random main deck Illusions that aren't directly connected to Chimera Fusion (Tao, Shurilane, Candle, Nightmare Apprentice) get a surprise narrative unification.
I actually think the Goblins are gonna turn out to be enemies-to-allies in the Diabellstar lore, and probably help defeat whatever final threat pops up in the lore at the 11th Hour. They mostly seem like Mischievous pranksters, rather than actual villains, so I could definitely see it.
I don't know if the malice cards are going to be the next big meta deck, but all I know is that those cards are the first archetype I've actually been excited about since the adventurer token archetype.
7:07 TROLLS BAND TOGETHER REFERENCE
The girl on dominus purge looks like necroquip princess found something new to wear
to be honest, I wanna see either Summoned Skull or Chess Archfiend lore. the former could be a Firebrand situation of a generic monster having a rise to power, and the latter would just be fun chess stuff. either that or Ha Des. I really like Ha Des.
New / Existing lores I would like to be expanded :
Krishnerd Witch
Drill Driver Vespenato
Magikey
Megalith
Crystron
Metalfoes
Igknight
The unknown familiars in the Charmers link 2
Goldilocks the battle landscaper
Zalamander Catalyzer
6:18 Nobody compared Lord of the Missing Barrows with Lord of the Heavenly Prison? Are those two part of some potential "Lord of the" level 10 archetype?
I honestly do believe the vanilla illusion- Jongleur-Ghoul Illusionist will have something going for it…would insane for it not too, the card design is different to were it looks as if it’s coming out of the card and I love it 💙
Anybody remember World Soul Carbon? There's like at least a hundred and thirteen cards you can make in that line, but he's just kinda there
Idk if anyone said Mad Hacker but now we have the Malice archetype which has him in the art.
Keying out the MBT as people pass by in the WBB foreground is why dire gets paid the big bucks. It's the attention to detail
Still waiting for Konami to add these famous fossils from the Burgess Shale to finish the last of the Paleozoic story: Titanokorys, Nectocaris, Amiskwia, Odontogriphus, Wiwaxia, Ottoia, Herpetogaster, Banffia and Capinatator.
1000% Illusion cards 1) should be an ARCHETYPE with unique properties like Toon monsters not a just name and 2) should be the next lore set. They could make an entire anime around Illusion monsters because its an archetype meaning they can add whatever cards they want from OTHER sets as Illusion monsters. I saw an “Illusion Gaia the Fierce Knight” card and thought that would be a great way to revive some older nostalgic cards whole giving them a fresh twist
Oh no. They made the Jar
the amazement fucking abomination arlekino bit got me
Been mostly just looking at the game from an outsider perspective lately, but as a fan of Trap Monsters and 5D's: when my friend showed me an Enigmaster Packbit that he pulled from a sneak peek, I was so genuinely curious to know more about his archetype and why they were hanging out in the S/T zone. Only to learn that it's just a random non-archetypal Synchro that had interaction with Vision Heroes and MAYBE one other archetype?
Just realized this may not line up with the prompt
I think the Under/Over/Afterroot cards are really unexplored cards storywise.
Curious with diabellze being a known face of illusion I wonder if they can be a meta threat beside battle stuff but hope they can be something that make a name of themselves and what crazy archetype can they come up with
0:07 we bare bears reference 4:18 she even has a summon animation in master duel for some reason
6:01 love that artwork
3:22 I thought Amazment is already part of a lore, where Arlekino travels through time to get inspiration from others decks like plunder, 6 samurai, ghost trick, ojama(who has an extra list of lore cards) and more for his park
I want the runick and generaider lore expanded unironically
As my single Archetype that I like above all else, I really wanna see more stuff with the Time Thieves, especially since the S-Force stuff connects with them, which winds back into PSY-Frames and I:P Masquerena, and even more especially since S:P Little Knight either came from the S-Force to join I:P, or, maybe, I dunno, joined the S-Force from there. Either way, it'd be cool I think.
Please Konami. We need the rest of the penguin party from Penguin Brave.
I hope we get Lord Of The Missing Barrows stuff. Seems like a neat idea for like any archetype in the story to be able to summon this cosmic demon lord
The lore of Nibiru is potential. The card itself depicting the meteor (or capsule) flung to earth's atmosphere, then the token is the mysterious Nibiru after-crash. With how the meta progressively overpowers Nibiru, i have no doubt Konami would give more Nibiru support, possibly the lore of destruction that Nibiru brings to earth.
Ngl, when they first revealed the Primals, I thought they were connected to Niburu
One day later and it was actually mad hacker
I want more machina lore
The structure deck R back in COVID era introduced the corrupted og units who got taken over by that one random card in rise of the duelist ( unauthorized bootup device) also guys like fortress and gearframe got upgraded into megaform and metalcruhlncher respectively
How? Who upgraded them? Wtf happened to Covington and cannon? Who made the new machinas like air raider or irradiatior? Who sent the bugs to corrupt soilder, sniper and defender? who's the guy on machina overdrive? (It's different than ruinforce, that is for sure) but More importantly,WHO'S ARMY ARE THEY?!
.....yes i am an earth machine player
No, I didn't say this because i want support
why does it seem like MBT is close friends with Zeus but he calls Typhon by his full name like they're just school mates.
I'm hoping Krishnerd works into an archetype for Ancient Fairy Dragon... Luna is the only Signer without a deck atm.
Give the MVP Icejade Aegirine an entire storyline. She deserves it
