I just posted a comment and seen your comment right below mine and if you have anxiety that bad then it's probably not anxiety it's probably panic attacks and if you haven't already seen somebody for it I would do that because trust me panic disorder is no joke and your quality of life we'll start to degrade over time
When I was recovering from my anxiety I found it tried to bring me back down because somethings I enjoyed before were not giving me the same pleasure as before. If this sounds familiar just don't be afraid to be at peace with new things. Cheers👋

I have panic attacks as well it's been 3 months now since my first attack especially night time were I woke up suddenly short of breath and it really freaks me out because I feel that I'm about to die and my heart is just about to stop. But God in his faithfulness and grace saved me I still have anxiety attacks now and then but it really comforts me that whatever happens God is with me. Instead of panicking I learn to go before God and pray and just simply talk to him and it brings comfort in my heart. Truly the love of the Lord casts out fear. 1 John 4:18-19 -"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us."
I have over came depression and anxiety in the past and though plagued with it again I see God once more pushing me though it, God is giving me an opportunity all of us who suffer with anxiety or depression or bad mental health a chance to witness and to help someone with it and this podcast is a grate example

Brother, God has not given us a spirit of fear or anxiety or sadness etc... But of love, truth, and of a sound mind! The Bible commands us to worry about nothing, but in all things make your request known unto God through prayer and supplication. For do we think God does not know what we need, even before we ask? God is the ultimate provider. And even still we are commanded to not love our own lives unto death. You show your trust for God when you worry about nothing, and when you worry about nothing, it provides room for you to practice trusting God. If we know that friendship with the world is enmity with God then why worry about the things of this world? Is life not worth more than the things we have, the things we feel, the things we think, the way we're perceived by others? Therefore, in all things give thanks unto God, but love God before all things. For if we are not careful and vigilant with where, how, what, and upon whom/what we express our love, we just might become too attached to that which can easily perish. For heaven and Earth shall pass away and all the treasures therein. But the love of God is eternal. And the only way to become free from anxiety and fear is to accept that love. The same love that was expressed on that cross that you may become free from the spirit of anxiety and be wiped clean, no longer a slave to the things of darkness. And as long as you continue to love God, you will continue to trust Him. And as long as you continue to trust Him, you won't worry about anything. How do we love God? We keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith. Personal experience on how I lastingly overcame my anxiety: It's a cycle of thought --> emotion (what you feel) --> thought --> emotion (what you feel) .... First you need to differentiate between these two. Because dealing with one is different from dealing with the other. Since it's a circle, you must break one of these, but you can deal with both. Dealing with the thought(s) is more important. The circle (your anxiety) does not disappear instantly. But it becomes weaker every time you manage to break one element of it. 1. Regarding the emotions you might search for breathing techniques or methods to cause physical pain to lessen the feeling. And remember the emotion (= physical, what you actually feel when anxiety manifests itself) is not the same as the thought which triggered the emotion. You cannot fight the emotion itself or run away mentally without making things worse. But what you can do is to face the emotions which means to become aware of your bodily symptoms and accept them voluntarily. Your emotions cannot (!) force you to fight them mentally (= with your thoughts). That’s how the chain between emotion and thought can be cut by refusing to fight the emotion after having had the thought. 2. Regarding the thoughts themselves: Your thoughts can become an inner circle if you start catastrophising. Catastrophising must be interrupted right at the start and must not be thought through till some presumed result is found which falsely promises inner peace. How do you do it? You must not try to not think about it because that does not work. Instead, you think about something else something that distracts you very easily (for instance, in my case that’s the latest football news). And now back to 1.. And remember, the anxiety circle doesn’t disappear instantly, but it becomes weaker every time focus on 1. or 2.. Your anxiety will steadily decrease by time, might take you days, weeks or months. But it works if you stick to it. You are in control. Your fear cannot force you to fight it. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1. John 4:18, highly recommend the entire 4th chapter)

Fear is always conditional. The one who fears thinks conditionally. "If X happens, it might cause Y to happen." X is the possible condition for Y. You're so afraid of Y that you'll act irrationally to avoid X. But why is it irrational to try to avoid X so hard if it minimizes the risk of Y? It is irrational because there is not only one Y. There are so many things we can lose. In fact, everything in this world is transient, everything fades at some point. And this is where the beauty of love comes in. Which is truly unconditional from all eternity. Again, Christianity is really about the idea that: "God is love." 1. John 4:16 Love is not only what God is like, Love is who he is. Love only exists in communion, in relationship. Therefore, God by his very essence must be something like a relationship of love. The love between Father and Son. And since God is beyond our human intellect and reason, love can be what Christian theology calls the Third Person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit. One in being/essence, three in person. In our human experience, perfect love seems to manifest itself when we give to others willing the good of the other. It is truly unconditional. Unconditionally giving. And here is God becoming man, living the perfect - sinless - life, taking all punishment upon himself and dying the most dreadful death one can possibly imagine sothat we might be saved. What more could one give - how could one give more unconditionally? Love is who he is. In Thomas Aquinas' words God is 'ipsum esse per se subsistens'. Being itself subsisting. The sheer act of being. God is to be. God is Love. Love, which offers itself by its very nature/essence without diminishing, exists of its own. In other words: It subsists. Therefore, true love must be unconditional. That is what we see in the first books of the bible to our salvation in Jesus Christ. From the God who gives by creating, from the burning bush which was not consumed by its flames of self-giving love, to Pentecost: Then, "what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on their heads" - the Holy Spirit. God is love. :) And through Jesus we are invited to join this relationship of love - to become one with the one who is love. This is how we can evade the conditions of this world and thereby the condition of fear. I really hope you give love a chance - even though the advice might not be as practical as the first one above.
I needed to hear this tonight, it was such a blessing...anxiety is a struggle for me as a believer. It's important that we understand how it affects our relationship with God and those around us.

I just had one, I was done reading my bible and was currently listening to worship songs while I am about to sleep, I just had my earphones plugged inside my ears and I was in the middle of falling asleep when I felt like falling and that someone just pulled my feet, it's just me and my mom and my mom's downstairs I cried, tears wont stop flowing like river

Anxiety and panic attacks are totally different. With panic you feel like you are literally dieing. So why are people saying Oh your just having anxiety attacks. No!! I'm telling you panic attacks are totally different!! People are taking this so lightly but if they were going through it theirselfs it would be a different story.

Anxiety lives in our heads, Panic attacks are the physical form of anxiety when it boils over. I deal with anxiety but have not had panic in years. I had learned with Panic Attacks is to let them flow through you as you learn your not going to die even though it feels that way....In fact I would simply say it’s a panic attack and I’m going to be fine. Bring it on, and within seconds it passes. Not an easy thing to do but it worked for me, The hardest thing in the world to do is cast all of it on the Lord...trust in him, it’s right there for the taking, But like I said it’s the hardest thing To do Being human.
Deborah, I totally agree. I been havibg anxiety for a very long time and gues what. I just prayed to the Lord to take it. And in just a snap, it was a wondeful morning to me. I feel so light and feel good about myself. Knowing I woke up 3am in the morning, supposed to feel restless and dull. But God helped me. This thing cannot be explained by science, must be an spiritual thing within us. Just try to talk to the Lord to take it from you! And he will!!!!

The events in my life this year has thrown me off balance in my spiritual, mental, physical state of being. My husband had an affair with two different women from our church. He divorced me and two days later married one of those women. There has not been any counseling or direction from my pastor. After a year I am no longer at the church. I’m angry for slot of reasons. Anxiety is causing me to feel sick and in pain a lot. I’m. I don’t understand why it was me that had to leave my home, my church, my job. He is the one that should’ve had to go. Why is God letting him do wrong and he gets to keep all our stuff that we built together. I’m angry and feel very much alone having to face all this. I can’t stop crying. I can’t breathe.

Pray for me. Having such bad anxiety and panic attacks daily due to issues with swallowing and stomach pain. Been to the hospital because of my anxiety and have scene doctors because of the issue. I just hope God reveals and heals me from my issues because I can’t do it in my own anymore..
Hi Mike, have you gotten a full thyroid panel test lately? I know symptoms can overlap, but it sounds to me like it may have something to do with your thyroid. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease after seeing a few different doctors with misdiagnoses. I finally went to a holistic doctor who by the grace of God had my answer. She said it was my anxiety during the appointment that made her think thyroid. We did a full thyroid panel and sure enough, my antibodies were through the roof. Now I'm taking some supplements and on a modified AIP diet, so praying I'll get relief from my daily pain. Praying for you to get answers and relief as well!
@@ashleykoenig920 I’ve had a full blood count done last week, a CT Scan of my neck, an endoscopy, and the last time I had a TSH, T4 test was in February and everything is normal. I’m due to get another one in January next year during my physical so I should know more then. For not it’s gotten a little better, not much pain but still trouble swallowing certain foods. But for the most part it’s a lot better. Hopefully it’ll completely go away soon God willing. Thank you!

I used to go to Italian restaurant and knew a 27 years old waiter . One day I saw him at CVS parking lot and he told me he was suffering from panic attack cause he was diagnosed as ADIS . He told me he was in the Emergency Room three times within a year cause panic attacks. I told him to ask God for forgive his sexual perversion and he said he did ask forgiveness and he is no longer practicing homosexuality. I still pray that God heal his body and save his soul .

Please keep reading the scriptures no matter how you feel . I had a death anxiety for one year cause someone ( devil ) planted in my head that I will die within five years . I had panic attack and I can only sleep few hours a day but while I was reading Romans 8:9~11 , God delivered me from the spirit of fear and let me assure that if the Spirit of God is in me , I am no longer in the fresh so either life or death , I will be with my Lord Jesus Christ forever . I had just been listening to Vestal Goldman's song "The answers on the way" and wondered if it really was true scripturally. Then I happened upon this podcast and God confirmed it!
I've been dealing with anxiety for many years. But now it bothers me cause I can see clearly how it's affecting my relationship towards my friends, family, my work relationship, people around me, and most of all to God. It bothers me so much that I just wanted to escape to the extent that I just push people away from me and build a wall against them. Guilt is also adding up cause I feel like I shouldn't feel this way if I really surrendered my all to God as I always say. Dealing with people makes me feel so anxious. Before, I thought it's just me being a shy type of person that's why since then I've been trying to help myself overcome it by exposing myself to situations which I thought would help. For many years, I've been providing all the help that I need cause I know aside from God, in the end, it's just me who can help myself but I realized I was wrong. I'm still here. I wasn't able to pursue my teaching career because of that anxiety. I've been losing lots of opportunity to grow because of that anxiety. I've been so aloof to many people still because of that anxiety. Few months ago, I've made a huge decision. I left my comfort zone with the hope that by taking another risk, by facing my fears, I will be able to overcome my anxieties. As I expected, things will really be difficult but I endured it because I want to help myself. But after some time, I can see no progress. I still feel the same thing. I still feel that overwhelming fear, nervousness, panic attacks. I'm tired of this, I'm so tired of this. They say it's only me can help myself but why I'm still like this. Why am I still here?

He DIDN'T have Anxiety when he lost his credit card because he didnt know he even lost it. So I think this really isnt about REAL Anxiety just something he thought might have cause him to slip into it. So what happens when you are struck with real Anxiety and caught up in that deep darkness it tangles some people into, much like me and which I'm still dealing with. A pain of anxiety that isnt attached to anything, there are many factors that may have started it... I have to fight everything, to say everything I do is safe . And Anxiety and being anxious are two different things to me..... When Im hit i keep asking myself..so what is causing it...is it this..or that..or it happens for nothing.
I just started working from home. But my anxiety hinders me to work effectively since I am very fearful if I'm doing the things right, at the same time, my family is experiencing lots of problems. Last 2 days I didn't show up at work, anxiety really eats me and I don't know what to do. My family don't know about this either, I don't want to tell them. I badly want to be healed but everytime I start to do things to decrease my anxiety, new problems arise and I always just get defeated by it. I really don't know what to do, I always think that maybe this is how I should live.

It is very difficult to deal with the constant rush of our thoughts and doubts. God is here for you and he loves you. He wants you to experience peace, because he is the God of peace. I find that Philippians 4:6-7 helps me a lot! I encourage you to continue praying and trusting in him. Anxiety can be overwhelming, but there is nothing that our God can’t conquer! He loves you immensely ❤️ I will pray for you brother!

It is the fear, acknowledge it. I feel this too and I couldn't sleep. It is the fear that we are abandoned, and the fear that we have the responsibility that we can't do. This is the thought that cripples your mind. Ask God and with all your heart, humble yourself and he will answer. God always say this "fear not". We feel this way because we don't trust God

Jesus Cured my anxiety disorder. I Obey Jesus commandments and Seek HIM and HIS Righteousness..and He delivers me from Evil. This example is a million times different than a problem like what I have which is called panic disorder that's what I can't seem to find any answer to..... Maybe there isn't an answer what do you do when multiple times a week you deal with extreme panic for absolutely no reason that you know of? I always seem to get through it but it's never pleasant and it ruins my quality of life it messes up the flow of my family and it destroys me mentally.... Pray for me

Hi.... I'm not married, and I'm not quite sure how to answer the question that you've asked, but I can pray for you.... I would advice that you seek wise counsel, however, maybe from your local pastor if you have one..... but even then, keep praying.... I know you may be discouraged by your circumstances, but God does hear your prayers..... also.... you do not need to invest money into any foundation or church in order to receive a breakthrough.... so beware of that.... it isn't biblical
I was thinking..what if you left your car keys in the store or you don't know where. How should you react? Will the answer be in prayer and peace and hope? Now that I think of it, that key is the key to your car door and it's not going to go anywhere but to your car door right? Hey, I'm a 25 year old and I believe in the resurrection and the life to be found in Jesus. If you trust God and have faith in Jesus, He is gonna unite you with Christ for the forgiveness of your sins for all eternity. So, it probably comes down to God being eternal. If we are united with Christ forever, there will be eternal life found in Him. Beginning now and continuing on into eternity. And in Him we will find joy and love and peace and excitement because all good things come from Him. It's probably about where your attention is, do you read the bible? Consistently? Expecting God to reveal himself to you? Perfect love casts out all fear.
Anxiety is a brain malfunction, and a chemical imbalance and can't be helped sometimes. So what can we do? Pray?, Well prayers might personally help some people. But just trying to remember that you have this problem, can really make a big difference when you start feeling your anxiety come on! Instead of panicking about the situation, just know that you have this problem. No it's not going to just stop it from happening, but we know how to control it better than just panicking, or thinking that praying to God is going to solve your problem, cause it won't. It can actually make the problem worse when you think that you have to rely on the answers from a prayer in order to feel better. I've had problems my whole life, and I know that remembering what you have, makes an incredible difference.
I believe that God is able to do ALL things.... Sometimes, however, He doesn't answer our prayers.... but that shouldn't be a reason to stop praying ya know? Christians are called to trust that God is able to do what we ask of Him, and trust Him even if He doesn't. However, just like any physical illness, sometimes to cope with anxiety, or depression, or anything of the sort, one would need to see a therapist, or even take medication, and that's ok..... But keeping God in the loop, even then, shows that you trust Him more than the meds, and I think that's all He really wants

But, I know why we need healthcare and therapy like you were talking about, it's because there's no presence of any God anywhere, and when people say that we should just pray, that doesn't work! But for personal reasons like fooling yourself into believing there's a God out there, I think is unhealthy to the mind of all people. It's purely deceptive, and false as far as anyone can see or communicate with a God. I've been on my epilepsy meds for 40+ years, and my family and their prayers did nothing, I've prayed for others and myself. Same outcome. And yes I used to be a christian, and almost pastor, so I did believe until reality hit me in the face. I could be wrong, but until I get solid grounds for evidence, and know that God exists then I have no reason for belief.

It's so easy to say this, but try saying this to the starving Christian families. God doesn't care about our physical sufferings, and I don't know how anyone could believe He does.

Nicholas Viall God uses those situations to make us lean on him. Look up desiring God videos on joy in suffering and why God allows bad things to happen. God will use our suffering for the good of us, others, and his kingdom.
I agree that God uses suffering for good. Which is why God doesn't care about our suffering. Because if He did, He wouldn't allow it. He'd rather glorify Himself (have us lean on Him) than prevent suffering.

I just posted a comment and seen your comment right below mine and if you have anxiety that bad then it's probably not anxiety it's probably panic attacks and if you haven't already seen somebody for it I would do that because trust me panic disorder is no joke and your quality of life we'll start to degrade over time

I have panic attacks as well it's been 3 months now since my first attack especially night time were I woke up suddenly short of breath and it really freaks me out because I feel that I'm about to die and my heart is just about to stop. But God in his faithfulness and grace saved me I still have anxiety attacks now and then but it really comforts me that whatever happens God is with me. Instead of panicking I learn to go before God and pray and just simply talk to him and it brings comfort in my heart. Truly the love of the Lord casts out fear.

Brother, God has not given us a spirit of fear or anxiety or sadness etc... But of love, truth, and of a sound mind! The Bible commands us to worry about nothing, but in all things make your request known unto God through prayer and supplication. For do we think God does not know what we need, even before we ask? God is the ultimate provider. And even still we are commanded to not love our own lives unto death. You show your trust for God when you worry about nothing, and when you worry about nothing, it provides room for you to practice trusting God. If we know that friendship with the world is enmity with God then why worry about the things of this world? Is life not worth more than the things we have, the things we feel, the things we think, the way we're perceived by others? Therefore, in all things give thanks unto God, but love God before all things. For if we are not careful and vigilant with where, how, what, and upon whom/what we express our love, we just might become too attached to that which can easily perish. For heaven and Earth shall pass away and all the treasures therein. But the love of God is eternal. And the only way to become free from anxiety and fear is to accept that love. The same love that was expressed on that cross that you may become free from the spirit of anxiety and be wiped clean, no longer a slave to the things of darkness. And as long as you continue to love God, you will continue to trust Him. And as long as you continue to trust Him, you won't worry about anything. How do we love God? We keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith. Personal experience on how I lastingly overcame my anxiety:
It's a cycle of thought --> emotion (what you feel) --> thought --> emotion (what you feel) ....
First you need to differentiate between these two. Because dealing with one is different from dealing with the other.
Since it's a circle, you must break one of these, but you can deal with both. Dealing with the thought(s) is more important.
The circle (your anxiety) does not disappear instantly. But it becomes weaker every time you manage to break one element of it.
1. Regarding the emotions you might search for breathing techniques or methods to cause physical pain to lessen the feeling. And remember the emotion (= physical, what you actually feel when anxiety manifests itself) is not the same as the thought which triggered the emotion. You cannot fight the emotion itself or run away mentally without making things worse. But what you can do is to face the emotions which means to become aware of your bodily symptoms and accept them voluntarily. Your emotions cannot (!) force you to fight them mentally (= with your thoughts). That’s how the chain between emotion and thought can be cut by refusing to fight the emotion after having had the thought.
2. Regarding the thoughts themselves:
Your thoughts can become an inner circle if you start catastrophising. Catastrophising must be interrupted right at the start and must not be thought through till some presumed result is found which falsely promises inner peace. How do you do it? You must not try to not think about it because that does not work. Instead, you think about something else something that distracts you very easily (for instance, in my case that’s the latest football news).
And now back to 1..
And remember, the anxiety circle doesn’t disappear instantly, but it becomes weaker every time focus on 1. or 2..
Your anxiety will steadily decrease by time, might take you days, weeks or months. But it works if you stick to it.
You are in control. Your fear cannot force you to fight it.
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1. John 4:18, highly recommend the entire 4th chapter)

Love in a divine sense is truly unconditional. Fear is always conditional. The one who fears thinks conditionally.
"If X happens, it might cause Y to happen." X is the possible condition for Y. You're so afraid of Y that you'll act irrationally to avoid X. But why is it irrational to try to avoid X so hard if it minimizes the risk of Y? It is irrational because there is not only one Y. There are so many things we can lose. In fact, everything in this world is transient, everything fades at some point.
And this is where the beauty of love comes in. Which is truly unconditional from all eternity.
Again, Christianity is really about the idea that: "God is love." 1. John 4:16
Love is not only what God is like, Love is who he is.
Love only exists in communion, in relationship. Therefore, God by his very essence must be something like a relationship of love. The love between Father and Son. And since God is beyond our human intellect and reason, love can be what Christian theology calls the Third Person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit.
One in being/essence, three in person.
In our human experience, perfect love seems to manifest itself when we give to others willing the good of the other. It is truly unconditional. Unconditionally giving.
And here is God becoming man, living the perfect - sinless - life, taking all punishment upon himself and dying the most dreadful death one can possibly imagine sothat we might be saved. What more could one give - how could one give more unconditionally?
Love is who he is. In Thomas Aquinas' words God is 'ipsum esse per se subsistens'. Being itself subsisting.
The sheer act of being.
God is to be. God is Love.
Love, which offers itself by its very nature/essence without diminishing, exists of its own. In other words: It subsists. Therefore, true love must be unconditional.
That is what we see in the first books of the bible to our salvation in Jesus Christ.
From the God who gives by creating, from the burning bush which was not consumed by its flames of self-giving love, to Pentecost:
Then, "what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on their heads" - the Holy Spirit.
God is love. :)
And through Jesus we are invited to join this relationship of love - to become one with the one who is love. This is how we can evade the conditions of this world and thereby the condition of fear. I really hope you give love a chance - even though the advice might not be as practical as the first one above.

I just had one, I was done reading my bible and was currently listening to worship songs while I am about to sleep, I just had my earphones plugged inside my ears and I was in the middle of falling asleep when I felt like falling and that someone just pulled my feet, it's just me and my mom and my mom's downstairs I cried, tears wont stop flowing like river

I've struggled with anxiety, and this "parable" is so true! I'm trying to engrain Romans 8:28 along with examples like this in my brain to help me to chill out!
Anxiety and panic attacks are totally different. With panic you feel like you are literally dieing. So why are people saying Oh your just having anxiety attacks. No!! I'm telling you panic attacks are totally different!! People are taking this so lightly but if they were going through it theirselfs it would be a different story.

Anxiety lives in our heads, Panic attacks are the physical form of anxiety when it boils over. I deal with anxiety but have not had panic in years. I had learned with Panic Attacks is to let them flow through you as you learn your not going to die even though it feels that way....In fact I would simply say it’s a panic attack and I’m going to be fine. Bring it on, and within seconds it passes. Not an easy thing to do but it worked for me,
The hardest thing in the world to do is cast all of it on the Lord...trust in him, it’s right there for the taking, But like I said it’s the hardest thing To do Being human.

Deborah, I totally agree. I been havibg anxiety for a very long time and gues what. I just prayed to the Lord to take it. And in just a snap, it was a wondeful morning to me. I feel so light and feel good about myself. Knowing I woke up 3am in the morning, supposed to feel restless and dull. But God helped me. This thing cannot be explained by science, must be an spiritual thing within us. Just try to talk to the Lord to take it from you! And he will!!!!

The events in my life this year has thrown me off balance in my spiritual, mental, physical state of being. My husband had an affair with two different women from our church. He divorced me and two days later married one of those women. There has not been any counseling or direction from my pastor. After a year I am no longer at the church. I’m angry for slot of reasons. Anxiety is causing me to feel sick and in pain a lot. I’m. I don’t understand why it was me that had to leave my home, my church, my job. He is the one that should’ve had to go. Why is God letting him do wrong and he gets to keep all our stuff that we built together. I’m angry and feel very much alone having to face all this. I can’t stop crying. I can’t breathe.

In need of prayers, I'm about to be dealing with the law, and my anxiety has been AWFUL the past few weeks and if it wasn't for these videos and focusing on the lord, I would be in alot darker of a head space
Amen x 100000. I’ve struggled with anxiety (the mental health condition) and have wonderfully been delivered from it. But my god can’t be ‘getting rid of anxiety’, actually through it the Lord helped me to realise whether I was anxious or not, that He was and is everything.

Pray for me. Having such bad anxiety and panic attacks daily due to issues with swallowing and stomach pain. Been to the hospital because of my anxiety and have scene doctors because of the issue. I just hope God reveals and heals me from my issues because I can’t do it in my own anymore..
Hi Mike, have you gotten a full thyroid panel test lately? I know symptoms can overlap, but it sounds to me like it may have something to do with your thyroid. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease after seeing a few different doctors with misdiagnoses. I finally went to a holistic doctor who by the grace of God had my answer. She said it was my anxiety during the appointment that made her think thyroid. We did a full thyroid panel and sure enough, my antibodies were through the roof. Now I'm taking some supplements and on a modified AIP diet, so praying I'll get relief from my daily pain. Praying for you to get answers and relief as well!
@@ashleykoenig920 I’ve had a full blood count done last week, a CT Scan of my neck, an endoscopy, and the last time I had a TSH, T4 test was in February and everything is normal. I’m due to get another one in January next year during my physical so I should know more then. For not it’s gotten a little better, not much pain but still trouble swallowing certain foods. But for the most part it’s a lot better. Hopefully it’ll completely go away soon God willing. Thank you!

I used to go to Italian restaurant and knew a 27 years old waiter . One day I saw him at CVS parking lot and he told me he was suffering from panic attack cause he was diagnosed as ADIS .
He told me he was in the Emergency Room three times within a year cause panic attacks.
I told him to ask God for forgive his sexual perversion and he said he did ask forgiveness and he is no longer practicing homosexuality.
I still pray that God heal his body and save his soul .

Please keep reading the scriptures no matter how you feel . I had a death anxiety for one year cause someone ( devil ) planted in my head that I will die within five years .
I had panic attack and I can only sleep few hours a day but while I was reading Romans 8:9~11 , God delivered me from the spirit of fear and let me assure that if the Spirit of God is in me , I am no longer in the fresh so either life or death , I will be with my Lord Jesus Christ forever .
Please keep reading the scriptures and believe God’s Word is absolutely true and you will be with him forever.

I've been dealing with anxiety for many years. But now it bothers me cause I can see clearly how it's affecting my relationship towards my friends, family, my work relationship, people around me, and most of all to God. It bothers me so much that I just wanted to escape to the extent that I just push people away from me and build a wall against them. Guilt is also adding up cause I feel like I shouldn't feel this way if I really surrendered my all to God as I always say. Dealing with people makes me feel so anxious. Before, I thought it's just me being a shy type of person that's why since then I've been trying to help myself overcome it by exposing myself to situations which I thought would help. For many years, I've been providing all the help that I need cause I know aside from God, in the end, it's just me who can help myself but I realized I was wrong. I'm still here. I wasn't able to pursue my teaching career because of that anxiety. I've been losing lots of opportunity to grow because of that anxiety. I've been so aloof to many people still because of that anxiety. Few months ago, I've made a huge decision. I left my comfort zone with the hope that by taking another risk, by facing my fears, I will be able to overcome my anxieties. As I expected, things will really be difficult but I endured it because I want to help myself. But after some time, I can see no progress. I still feel the same thing. I still feel that overwhelming fear, nervousness, panic attacks. I'm tired of this, I'm so tired of this. They say it's only me can help myself but why I'm still like this. Why am I still here?
I've struggled with anxiety/panic attacks my whole life and still do occasionally. It is important to remember that you aren't the only one struggling. So many people in this world are going through a similar situation as you because we live in a fallen world. I will be praying for you Jen!

He DIDN'T have Anxiety when he lost his credit card because he didnt know he even lost it. So I think this really isnt about REAL Anxiety just something he thought might have cause him to slip into it. So what happens when you are struck with real Anxiety and caught up in that deep darkness it tangles some people into, much like me and which I'm still dealing with. A pain of anxiety that isnt attached to anything, there are many factors that may have started it... I have to fight everything, to say everything I do is safe . And Anxiety and being anxious are two different things to me..... When Im hit i keep asking myself..so what is causing it...is it this..or that..or it happens for nothing.
I just started working from home. But my anxiety hinders me to work effectively since I am very fearful if I'm doing the things right, at the same time, my family is experiencing lots of problems. Last 2 days I didn't show up at work, anxiety really eats me and I don't know what to do. My family don't know about this either, I don't want to tell them. I badly want to be healed but everytime I start to do things to decrease my anxiety, new problems arise and I always just get defeated by it. I really don't know what to do, I always think that maybe this is how I should live.

It is very difficult to deal with the constant rush of our thoughts and doubts. God is here for you and he loves you. He wants you to experience peace, because he is the God of peace. I find that Philippians 4:6-7 helps me a lot! I encourage you to continue praying and trusting in him. Anxiety can be overwhelming, but there is nothing that our God can’t conquer! Guys, God has not given us a spirit of fear or anxiety or sadness etc... But of love, truth, and of a sound mind! The Bible commands us to worry about nothing, but in all things make your request known unto God through prayer and supplication. For do we think God does not know what we need, even before we ask? God is the ultimate provider. And even still we are commanded to not love our own lives unto death. You show your trust for God when you worry about nothing, and when you worry about nothing, it provides room for you to practice trusting God. If we know that friendship with the world is enmity with God then why worry about the things of this world? Is life not worth more than the things we have, the things we feel, the things we think, the way we're perceived by others? Therefore, in all things give thanks unto God, but love God before all things. For if we are not careful and vigilant with where, how, what, and upon whom/what we express our love, we just might become too attached to that which can easily perish. For heaven and Earth shall pass away and all the treasures therein. But the love of God is eternal. Peace be with you all.

It is the fear, acknowledge it. I feel this too and I couldn't sleep. It is the fear that we are abandoned, and the fear that we have the responsibility that we can't do. This is the thought that cripples your mind. Ask God and with all your heart, humble yourself and he will answer. God always say this "fear not". We feel this way because we don't trust God

Which in my case..was being told by self-titled Men in a church what God wants me to Do. I am Saved and Free from Men like this one..who hasn't the vaguest idea what is Right fr me.

This example is a million times different than a problem like what I have which is called panic disorder that's what I can't seem to find any answer to..... Maybe there isn't an answer what do you do when multiple times a week you deal with extreme panic for absolutely no reason that you know of? I always seem to get through it but it's never pleasant and it ruins my quality of life it messes up the flow of my family and it destroys me mentally.... Pray for me

Hi.... I'm not married, and I'm not quite sure how to answer the question that you've asked, but I can pray for you.... I would advice that you seek wise counsel, however, maybe from your local pastor if you have one..... but even then, keep praying.... I know you may be discouraged by your circumstances, but God does hear your prayers..... also.... you do not need to invest money into any foundation or church in order to receive a breakthrough.... so beware of that.... it isn't biblical

Hey, I'm a 25 year old and I believe in the resurrection and the life to be found in Jesus. If you trust God and have faith in Jesus, He is gonna unite you with Christ for the forgiveness of your sins for all eternity. So, it probably comes down to God being eternal. If we are united with Christ forever, there will be eternal life found in Him. Beginning now and continuing on into eternity. And in Him we will find joy and love and peace and excitement because all good things come from Him. It's probably about where your attention is, do you read the bible? Consistently? Expecting God to reveal himself to you? Perfect love casts out all fear.
Anxiety is a brain malfunction, and a chemical imbalance and can't be helped sometimes. So what can we do? Pray?, Well prayers might personally help some people. But just trying to remember that you have this problem, can really make a big difference when you start feeling your anxiety come on! Instead of panicking about the situation, just know that you have this problem. No it's not going to just stop it from happening, but we know how to control it better than just panicking, or thinking that praying to God is going to solve your problem, cause it won't. It can actually make the problem worse when you think that you have to rely on the answers from a prayer in order to feel better. I've had problems my whole life, and I know that remembering what you have, makes an incredible difference.
I believe that God is able to do ALL things.... Sometimes, however, He doesn't answer our prayers.... but that shouldn't be a reason to stop praying ya know? Christians are called to trust that God is able to do what we ask of Him, and trust Him even if He doesn't. However, just like any physical illness, sometimes to cope with anxiety, or depression, or anything of the sort, one would need to see a therapist, or even take medication, and that's ok..... But keeping God in the loop, even then, shows that you trust Him more than the meds, and I think that's all He really wants

However, I do not know about you, but I serve the God whose hand isn't short that He is unable to deliver me from whatever I am going through.... even if He doesn't I still trust Him.... that's my decision ..... medication and therapists are there for a reason, but in no instance will it be a replacement for my God..... But, I know why we need healthcare and therapy like you were talking about, it's because there's no presence of any God anywhere, and when people say that we should just pray, that doesn't work! But for personal reasons like fooling yourself into believing there's a God out there, I think is unhealthy to the mind of all people. It's purely deceptive, and false as far as anyone can see or communicate with a God. I've been on my epilepsy meds for 40+ years, and my family and their prayers did nothing, I've prayed for others and myself. Same outcome. And yes I used to be a christian, and almost pastor, so I did believe until reality hit me in the face. I could be wrong, but until I get solid grounds for evidence, and know that God exists then I have no reason for belief.

We never want to fight anxiety, it makes it worse and stronger.
So just live in fear? With Gods help and asking Him to help you, you can get through it. The Bible says be anxious for nothing and to trust in Him, so doing that you can get through it.

It's so easy to say this, but try saying this to the starving Christian families. God doesn't care about our physical sufferings, and I don't know how anyone could believe He does.

Nicholas Viall God uses those situations to make us lean on him. Look up desiring God videos on joy in suffering and why God allows bad things to happen. God will use our suffering for the good of us, others, and his kingdom.
I agree that God uses suffering for good. Which is why God doesn't care about our suffering. Because if He did, He wouldn't allow it. He'd rather glorify Himself (have us lean on Him) than prevent suffering.
