- Hai gais, here's a full gameplay of The Mimic's Book 2 Jealousy, Chapter 1 normal mode. Played this on the day of release. Hope this helps somehow.

For anyone stuck on the first part, if you don’t take out the candle when running to and from places and in most rooms she won’t get you unless she sees you

Tips and Tricks:
Rin and Mio part: We know that some doors of the game have Shimenawa or the ropes but recently due to a bug over the ropes some of the ropes are fake and Futakuchi can enter it. If you die there are two places to go: To the right downstairs or to the left. If she passes right head left and to the main big room with the teapot (There's usually a rat there) if not check the downstairs area. Most of the rats spawn closer to the bell. Once you are done ringing the bell you could use that to distract her. Put a rat and she will go there but not attack you. Make sure not to touch her. Sometimes you dont even need a rat and this helps in nightmare mode prob. If multiplayer have someone get a rat and the other one to ring the bell to distract her (No need to put a rat) You might wanna do this quick bcuz the devs might patch it soon.
Nure-Onna part: I suggest walking in the stairs to conserve stamina. Once you see the objective immediately sprint to the grass to hide. Most players dont see the bridge bcuz its camouflaged in the ground but you can hide in the rocks to avoid her seeing you. Keep repeating this until you get to the last grass. Head to the edge of the grass to get a headstart. Once she is gone SPRINT FOR YOUR LIFE TO THE BONE BRIDGE AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.
Nure-Onna chase part. Dont start running until you see the objective. Once you do sprint to the finish but if sprint is halfway done crouch for 2 seconds and it will recharge quick enough to get back you to atleast almost full stamina and dont let it run out or you will die.
Village Part (Outside): Talk to keneo then immediately run cuz a monster will spawn (Old grandpa) He is too big so hide underneath houses to be safe (Not litteraly under the house but near a door) He is very slow so you can sprint a lot. Even though he is slow he is big and charges his speed overtime. He is a camper (Like Kuchisake onna in chapter 3) Check the houses for the paintings or what the angel is pointing at (You'll need it later)
Village Part (Long neck lady spelling bee challenge): In one of the houses you must complete a challenge before seeing the painting. You must draw a japanese or chinese character and make sure you trace it out perfectly or you will die. Dont be stressed (Its hard i know bcuz of her face looking at you every 5 seconds) but once you get the hang of it you will succed.
Village Part (Blind Witch) Now you know the paintings find a key in the big house and go to the house infront of the Enzukai statue or where Old Grampa camper camps. Once inside i recommend watching her first to see her pattern. If in multiplayer let you friend know the pattern and distract her while you go get the paintings. (You spawn in the middle floor) light up the candles in front of the paintings THAT YOU MEMMORIZED INSIDE OF THE HOUSES (You will forget it most likely so draw a little picture of it) Once done get the orb downstairs and run for dear life. (her jumpscare is pretty though)
Water hotel part: I dont even know where to start-
You spawn in the 2nd floor again and you must light up candles without dying or running out of oxygen or you will restart phase (There are 3 phases, Phase 1: 4 Candles Phase 2: 6 Candles Phase 3: 8 candles) The slime monster in the middle floor is camping the elevator but he is super slow) The front elevator takes you down and the elevator behind takes you up) There are 2 candles here and they are easy to light up. In the top floor there are stairs infront of you then go immdiately and light it up there are also tables where you can crouch in so crouch on it (She is really fast) Downstairs head to the left immediately cuz the monster likes to go on the right side of the map. If you die one of your friends can heal you. Make sure to replenish oxygen every once in a while.

@@Birbzz all the monsters are based off of Japanese urban legends. So though disgusting, it's not a random design. The game can be buggy sometimes bc sometimes the developers rush when ppl get impatient so they should stop trying to appease those people and completely finish. But the game isn't badly made, it's pretty decent for roblox and a horror game in general lol, for the best experience you need a good computer or device and have graphics high. Some of the models are kinda ugly and poorly made though fr.

Tip for the first part: As you may know Futakuchi can open doors and she can go in them. Not all doors tho, if u see a rope above the door (called a shimenawa wall), you're safe and she can't go in there.

Tip For Rin Part: If you’re in an unsafe room without the ropes, if there is fan curtain you can hide behind it. She can’t get u there :)
Yes when me and some random people who had never played this game before were playing, it took us like 15 minutes to finally have enough courage to walk out of the room and to the one in which there is a curtain thing, as soon as we got there, even if I tracked how much time she takes to pass from our room, she still saw us and I couldn't make it behind the curtain and she got me lol
This was today btw, just 2-3 minutes ago when we all left and I came here to know what to do
@@Pawcifer oh sorry that you couldn’t get behind the fan curtain :l to let you know, the large room with a big pot/fire thing has curtains but you can’t go behind those certain ones, it only lets you go behind some just in the smaller rooms! Also in the same large room with the big pot thing, if you need to hide there, there’s a dark brown cabinet where you can hide behind the door.

Since she can open doors I suggest you to go to the backyard since she can't go near and also when she chase you I suggest you close the door in the right time

She can open doors
The first time I've played book 2, I was so confused about how did i ended up in a city. I was like "Did I pick a wrong chapter?". But then one time, I saw a post on the mimic fandom site about Isamu Uchiumi being the protagonist of the book 2. I finally realize that what I pick is the book 2. Then I came with a few theories about the mimic:
First theory:
On book 1 chapter 1, Yasu Masashige is the protagonist. The reason why he's in the school is to search for his missing friends. And then I came with the thought of, What if Isamu is one of his missing friends? What if Yasu just got tricked with Sama since he's been the target right in the beginning because there's a curse? What I mean is about trick is that his missing friends is actually fake and Sama is just trying to lure him. What if his missing friends is still alive?
Second theory:
Just like what i said, his missing friends (that Sama said he sacrifice all of them without him knowing) is actually still alive? On chapter 4 (good ending), the note said that you have freed all of your ancestors including your parents. But I came with the thought of... it's possible that he freed his friends too but they have no memories of him and the incidents and just starting to live normal.
Third theory:
Isamu must really be one of his missing friends. What if Sama using them isn't a coincidence? What if she did it on purpose because they are also connected with the curse but a curse of the other beasts?
Last theory:
This is the last one. SInce the book 2 had a different protagonist, then book 3 and 4 must have their own protagonist too but with a different storyline, of course. i am pretty sure that Isamu can also slay Enzukai the same thing Yasu did on Kintoru. For the book 4, that the antagonist might be Yuma or Netamo, I think... all of the protagonist will meet at the end.
Just a theory about this game and it's actually pretty much interesting to find out more.
P.S: It's impossible that Isamu being the protagonist of book 2 is a coincidence. He must have a connection with Yasu so I came with that thought. MUCDICH might never have added it on the game and I bet he wanted to surprise us with a twist.

tip for the first part. The ropes above some doors are safe room, she cannot enter. And if you noticed, the room that you spawn in has ropes above it 12:40 here she is not glitched, she can't enter at all. There is even clues written on the wall outside of the room of the book.

You never fail to impress me whenever a new chapter is released. Great work
Still haven't finished this (I was however at the last part with the three phases lighting candles, I unfortunately disconnected) but I sort of figured out that when Rin chases you, don't dodge the obstacles but go over them. It saves you from using all of your sprint. Don't also use all of it since it does run out pretty quickly.

The first monster (Rin) can open doors in rooms, so don't think the rooms are safe wether you hide behind a object enough for her not to see you, if you see hanging ropes above a room that's considered a safe room, she cannot enter the room. Only 2 of them are there from what I can see.

Actually, you can hide behind hay stacks, the long white things (dividers) but you can't hide behind shelves unfortunately

TIP: I’m pretty sure monsters can detect you if you are following them behind their back, so try not to follow them. Wait till they are far away from you
Actually some monsters can be followed for a few seconds longer, however since their AI path can change sides they might see you on angle view. So keep large distance away from them and try not to make sound when you attempt to follow them.

I tried to play with my friend but once we got to the office and saw our brother and after the boat part and after we went out of a minka we were scared to explore so we just left lol. p.s I can’t believe we just spent almost an hour to look for a book when it says “seek out a book” so we were like trying to find a book in the room where we were suppose not to look and not find a book until later I think. btw the place when I said we were suppose to seek for a book that’s where you spawn after the boat thing so that you guys aren’t confused.

Here’s a tip Luna, so you see the ropes on the door area? Use those for your advantage because the demon can’t get in.

yup! It’s called a shimenawa, it’s used in Shinto shrines (in Japan) so spirits can’t haunt the place/get in I think

Tips:Open all the doors before reading the book
At the first part, you can sneak into those little spaces behind objects like those shelves and basically she won't be able to get you if you get to the middle of it, i tried that once because I had nowhere else to go but inside a room with no ropes and I just squished myself through the space
me and my friends were running with no plans because we were all playing with no audio but when we turned around the corner she was there, luckily i didn't get killed but my friend did 💀💀💀 i had like a few seconds and stared at my dead friend even planning to take a screenshot of it but i got scared then ran to the nearest room which was like behind us and there were no ropes so i just squished myself behind the shelves lol
i didn't wanna risk running around finding a room with a rope on the door with her chasing me because i thought she was as fast as sama (but she's not i think) so i went to the room and did what i said earlier, my two friends who survived are also there. one friend was also behind a shelf while another was beside the door crouched, so yeah she can see you even if you crouched beside the door once she enters the room

im amazed, i came to watch this vid for walkthrough, i was playing with my friend and stuck. we used 3 hours+ but havent finish the second part (candle puzzles). but in the end we both rage quitted...
Have you beat it yet? If not, here’s what to do. There should be 5 houses, and inside each house there is a painting in a gold frame, memorize the painting. There is one house where you need to complete a Japanese character in order to see the painting appear (it glows white inside a room with a long-necked lady) and you must find a key (normally spawns inside a cabinet inside the main big house). Use the extended roofs outside the houses as shelter from Kurobozu (man with the long tongue) as he is too tall to reach you when you stand beneath them. Once you get the key and enter the room with the blind witch, you must light the candles that are under paintings that MATCH the ones inside the houses you saw (they do not have do be in order, however, do not light ones that were not inside the houses). The Blind Witch moves in a pattern, which you can tell if you watch her. She follows the pattern of pacing back and forth the entire time, so use that to your advantage. The first floor wraps fully around to the spawn, so you can sprint it. As soon as you’ve lit all 5 matching candles, grab the red orb that appears in the cutscene, and bring it to Old Man Keneo. Tips for the first part:find a door with ropes above the door it means its a safe house, doors without ropes above she can open it and can come inside
Woah Luna the last part is so unfair, cuz if you die you will start all over again... But becareful about the monster on the normal floor, He has a big hitbox that a blocky player will die on an elevator, i recommend wearing a woman body will help...

and the nure-onna part is easy it just takes practice

Does anyone have any tips on the ladder part before the candles? In this walkthrough, the room when you're painting had a ladder but when I play it doesn't show the ladder? On top of that the candle room shows the words that I need to go in the other rooms first and I believe it's because I don't have a ladder. If that makes sense lol help!

When you play mimics there can be ropes above doors and when you go to the door that has ropes above the door you went in that mean any monster won’t get u that’s a sign your safe and it walk to you you won’t get hurt
I'm grateful the first time I did that I was with someome who knew how to pass to everything though we had to start again at least twenty times lighting the 8 candles...
Here a tip on rins part she mostly camps the bell garden and resqawn and if your in the room without a rope and theirs a room with the like changing thing idk hide behind it and crawl she will not see you

The last part (the water hotel) was so hard I gave up. I played it for 5 hours trying to pass it but I kept dying. I wish it was easier but the developers of the game made it so stupidly hard to pass. If there is any tricks I can win it please tell me.
