okay tip if your in a team for the blind witch part: 1 Person goes to kenio while the others go to the other houses (including rokurokubi's house)
Tip if you're in a team for Tsukyia and Shosai's part: 1, a player goes to Keneo while other people go to the other minkas, even doing Takane's Painting Challenge.

Yep, this strategy actually works. Not just that it saves time, it also helps to get to the main house quick.
The fact that i was struggling with this on normal mode and two people really shows how amazing you are💀

A tip from someone who won, open every door so you can hide when she chases you, and because the rats always spanw at different places.
I don't think it's necessary to open all of the doors, because there's only few rooms which actually 100% stops you from getting chased, and not to mention the rats can be easily found as it has a loud squeaking sound, it's spawn is also not too difficult to search for most of the time. . Pretty good tip for newcomers though. 👌
@@lunarticivanaltacc well actually you can hide in all rooms. I have found ways. But it's up to you tho because it's better to like have the rooms open instead of risking to get caught while opening to get a rat or hide.

@@lunarticivanaltaccalthough you can hear the rats opening the door to get to it can waste time therefore i recommend just opening all the door, it doesnt hurt your gameplay or anything like that (unless ur doing a speedrun) some rooms can actually protect you even without simenawa that can protect u
13:08 If you don't know, during this short period of time, the Tenome is on a cooldown, which is recognizing where the player is. The cooldown is 17 seconds

Another tip I want to add! If you're in the room that can have a rat behind the painted screen across the staircase where there's a second door that leads to a room with shelves and barrels and if Rin goes in the barrel room, because Rin can't open doors in NM she'll get stuck in there for a bit if you close the door until she respawns. She gets stuck in there a lot whether the door is closed or not tbh.
2: And if Rin respawns in her main room (room with the dolls) she can potentially stuck for a very...very...long time especially if she kills someone then spawns there. She won't chase you even if you go in front of her.
3: Some people may know this but if Rin gets stuck on a door, you can run past her because she won't see you nor fix herself, she'll just respawn after

Idk if it’s only for normal, I mean I do remember her not being able to open any doors but one day I closed the door and she literally opened it, It might be a change the creator did sadly.

Although I'm watching this video after beating Jealousy Book 2 nightmare several times, I'm sure that this video is a good guide for beginners. I want to add a bit...
1. Rin/Mio Map
- When Rin goes to the bell room, teleports from it. She makes a poop sound while teleporting. You may hear the sound in the well and find the perfect timing to ring a bell.
- At the start, if Rin is not in the room in front of the book room (two rats spawn room) it means you are safe to go to the well. If you found the rat in the book room or that two rats spawn room, just run to the well and you won't be caught. And be careful - you must run to the right side of the book room, not the left side.
- When you are somehow in the book room with an unpoisoned rat and you're afraid to go to the well, wait until Rin goes to the left side of the book room. When she is out of your sight (doesn't matter if you still hear her) run to the well by the right side.
- I suggest you open every door just in case Rin chases you. You will survive at certain spots in the room. Rin is faster than your sprint.
- When someone with the rat dies during multiplay, the rat re-spawns back to the place where it spawned.
- When you are close to the rat, you will hear the sound. While running to the bell, keep hearing the sound. You should memorise all the rooms where the rat can spawn for an easier game.
2. Medusa
- There is really a good swag route for it but it might be challenging for beginners and it's hard to explain ><
3. Painting
- There will be a short cutscene when you light up all the candles you need to. Although it is very short (just a few seconds), you are stunned for a moment and you can be caught, so...I suggest you to light up the candle if you're sure that she is very far from you.
4. Candle
- Tenome is the hardest floor, tho. When you're solo playing, you can only light up the Kishin floor and the first floor until phase 3.
Haha yeah, you're right, and especially the Medusa part. I know the route, but remember this is just a beginner's guide lol. Pretty cool shortcut

I didn’t complete the chapter in nightmare but it did help me a lot I was able go through Rin to The Candles part! Sadly I died when I was at phase 3 and I did this all by myself so this is really helpful! It’s pretty easy (for me) expect the Yoki town, that one almost killed me!

the nagisa one when you enter the first grass its ok because shes looking at the other grass so when shes looking at the other side quickly run and hide under the rocks

the best solution for phase 3 in the ship part is lighting 4 candles in the boiler rooms and one candle upstairs in the top floor and the candle in the middle floor just for safety and not having to do the unsafe candle in the boiler rooms

i recommended that you walk a little and then before the text appears puts “run” start running (i say this because you can have for energy to run)
Mini tip though, If you have bad eye sight or playng on a lower brightness (this is only for pc i'm pretty sure but) in this chapter, if you press i think uh ; or ' on your keyboard it will pop up a mini settings menu and if you go press the "game" option, and then lighting and turn on or off "adaptive lighting" you will see the difference :> (Correct me if I'm wrong, haven't played mimic nor this chapter for months now)

Tip: in the nagisa/snake part when you step on the dirt just run to the first rock then after she goes down go to the grass then when she looks at the grass at the beginning just go because she cant see you so you can go
Also another tip I actually found on accident in the paintings map is you can actually glitch through the wood walls in the painting building on the middle floor so if you wanna quickly get to the bottom floor without going to stairs you can just phase through those wood walls! (I did it from right side so I recommend trying it from there)
How do you glitch tho?

Update: I did this with my friend again and we complete it. We only needed to light two candles at tenomes floor. 1 at blobs floor. And 3 at kishins floor. That makes them 6/6 was pretty hard for my friend to do the paintings part alone coz I died to shosai. (I'm nub) and the last part was pretty easy. My friend kept dying on kishins floor though she has 10 lanterns. The second easiest was tenome. She only had to light 2 candles. And the easiest was blobs floor. Kishins floor was hardest. When he went to the Eleovater (srry for my grammer- I am not experienced with English that well.) she light the candle up. Then we did tenomes floor. After that! I got the badge and the lantern 😎😎

Cause tenome can hear everytime in nightmare not like normal. I hate it because we always need to crouch. Jeez that take so much time for me. (I was doing that in 5am😭) and i hate too that Muc buffed kishin that he can hear footsteps too like tenome. Thats so fcking horrible buff. Bro he already have eyes to see this world, and muc just buff he adding he can hear footsteps. I hate muc thats my last word. Bye

Dang this guide is rlly useful because when i doued this mode twice on nightmare i never used the boat strat. Its honestly seems way easier then spending half an hour waiting for tenome to leave

thanks for your tips I almost did it solo my first try in my entire gameplay of the mimic
i got carried by some people but everyone but me died at candle part since they just wherever they wanted to, i had to get the last candle while tenome was chasing me

I finally got it today. The only thing I struggle on was the last part where you have to light up the candles. The monster keep going back to the direction I try to go in which cost me a total of 260 Robux for revive but i'm glad I made it.

by the way after the snake nure part dont run until it says so just sprint right at the start and u will still reach the exit so thats a waste of time bro.
If you run right at the start, that's okay but your stamina will run out and not many people will know that using your stamina until it's red will disable you from using it until its fully recharge. Not to mention, you said "waste of time" you still have to stop near the exit to recharge ur stamina, and not many people know how to do so. Either way, both isn't time consuming.
I think I need tips for going in corners in Rin part since sometimes if you turn in a corner she appears before you notice it
Turn your user interface volume up in the settings in the top left corner, you'll be able to hear the heartbeat when she is nearby 😊

bro you make this look so easy, I did it with 2 and more ppl and everyone keeps dying it's frustrating. If it takes too long ima just do this solo and follow these tips. one question, so if we follow your steps step by step does that mean all the monsters' movements are exactly the same every time? (if we redo it and all)
Yes, monsters movement will be the same, however that's only for the ship monsters. Correctly follow the ship route, monster movement almost 100% the same
Recommend doing book 2 on 1-2 players if you're desperate. 3 players above has such a disadvantage. EG: More players can add more candles need to be lighten up in ship area, and paintings area will be more difficult if teamwork coordination is terrible.
2 players is already enough, as it doesn't require more candles to be lightened up and more. As the saying goes, Sometimes less is more.

For the last part in normal mode: I recommend playing with players cuz when you die you have to get revived from a player (this is only in normal mode I think) plus this is my opinion ok
In my opinion 2 players is already enough. You can revive each other and the amount of candle need to be lit won't add up. Great Idea Candisse!
About rin part is so hard that rat in big room and there no way to hide and I always die in big room

Yes, he will not hear you IF you're going to tenome's floor your the first time, Second time will not work. So in order to avoid this, Get chased, and try to do the same process like the first time. Wait for him to go left then right

The reason why I picked blob cuz he's the most easier one after that khenshin I would look for safe spots and try to crank ankles when he's near but probably that's the most risky turn in my life after the phase one is completed do it again to kenshinñ level after that blob level all though this is were u go tonomes level first lit the candle next to u and boom phase 3 so I go to the elevator do blob and kenshinñ after that genomes so lit the candle next to u again still not enough welp pick the one who had lots of candles make sure u don't get caught
