i made this animated short film through my second and third year at Calarts.. i figured I could put this up here too, I still like this film a lot!

We need more of this in our lives. This pinch of joy that pushes us go through the day. I've been under several depression for... I forgot how much at this point... I've been scared to get back on to drawing and this kind of animations sparks and lights up your soul to unbelievable peaks. Thank you for do this pieces of art and share em with us. Man, I love everything about this. The style and stippling are really unique, the animation is so charming and full of character, the use of color is fantastic, and I'd love to know more about these dudes and their world. The tension is A+ and I really like the scene where he's unlocking the door, it's just so fun to watch! All this to say thank you for sharing your art with us, and keep up the great work!!

The intricacy in the simplicity is stupendous good golly. The story telling and the full expression plus knowing when to add detail and make things simpler in large shots- all so captivating and skillful. Plus lovely little quarks
Also upon rewatching, some credit to the composer? Absolutely stellar score

THIS ONE is probably my favorite Calarts animation I've ever watched. It was so fun to follow the story, I love the characters, despite them not saying anything and the style choice is simple, yet so thought through. It's absolutely perfect, I will share it with all of my friends :)

I've never seen such a creative scene in a while than this one 4:35, everytime I see it i still keep amazed
this was so well made, it feels silly, like having fun, and soft, yet with the edge of tension, the animation is so smooth and the way the characters' act and move just shows so much personality and thought. Whatever their relationship is is so sweet and, stars, they're so cute and goofy. Over all, a very entertaining and pleasant experience,
This is some of the most charming animation I have ever had the pleasure of watching, the handshake security side scene preceeded by that slide had me grinning like a fool. The character acting was flawless, some of the greatest personalities I've ever seen conveyed so effectively and in such little time
i saw this almost a year ago on vimeo and think of it so often! every time i see it again im always equally if not more amazed. just pure delight from beginning 2 end and so artistically inspiring!
I absolutely love this. It’s so unique! And the visuals are STUNNING, the way you layered out each frame fit it all so perfectly.
The humour, expressions, visuals, and audio are amazing. Having mute/non verbal characters is also very important to this, it portrays a subtle but important role (eg the hand signatures) it also lets the visuals take over the portrayal of these twos relationship, words can mean a lot, but physical can go a long way! The gleeful little moments made me smile, it’s a beautiful fresh breath of air and it just screams incredible potential. I’m excited to see what else is made, all of your content is beautiful, and loveable. Thank you for all your work.

I know I’m late to say this but this is a freak’n cute omg… I never knew committing a crime could be turned into such a wholesome short! And I especially love how they went through all that just for some juice lol. Perfection 👌✨

This is fantastic, it's got such a playful energy, the print texturing and mono colours except for torch light just made it feel like a small comic come to life
If one of these don't get picked up as a full animated series I will fight the broadcasting networks myself
