What a beautiful film! The story, the look, the acting, voice and sound, it takes you in a world of kindness.
A lovely film! It's so wholesome, and I wish it could be up for even longer, but I absolutely love the message and EVERYTHING about it! An amazing job.
As many would say, underrated. But in this case, it's more unnoticed. I hope this wholesome animation gets some traffic because I think we could all use a little Aki in our day. Keep up the good work "wancii" and great job on this short film! Ciao.
I would pay for a movie version of this.
This is awesome from the art style, the voice acting, world design and subtle little hints about how this world's religion and culture works. It even made me laugh when Aki awkwardly scurried off with his ramen.
This was a good way to start the day.

This reminds me of how I view myself as an artist. I always constantly make my art that I am unsatisfied with, and I get frustrated and sad. No matter how much I tried I couldn’t get it the way I wanted it to be. It took a while, but the thing that helped me the most was patience and persistence.

Such a great film, the message is adorable, the art style is amazing and the voice acting is impecable, I do hope this blows up in the algorithm, more people needs to see this!
This is soo touching! I wanted to cry at the end from how heartwarming, sweet and kindly it was) I think, many need Bon's words. And I like that the message is perfectly conveyed in just 4 minutes, and at the same time there is nothing superfluous. Although I would really enjoy a longer animation by the same creators, cause this storytelling, voice acting, music, plot, the art style and the characters and environment design, the point - everything is so good!! Btw Aki is such a cutie
Maybe they are kois and catfishes at the same time, but I think artists were referencing catfishes more. Also, I like your point about Bon. I would be more happy to share things you dedicated a lot of time to with the best friend too. By the way, I don't know if they are having a competition, I thought it was like a royal dinner or something. But design of this big purple royal catfish is hilarious and represents his mindset

I love this so much. The fact that the whole story is about Aki failing, and gaining the perseverance to try again is just so wonderful, and was a message I really needed to hear, and that I think a lot of people need to hear too. Thank you for making this.

watching film projects always inspires me to keep doing my things, I'm more of a writer, but I always use things like these to get my gears going, animation is amazing because you can make it so atmospheric, if that makes sense.

What a brilliant short film, the world is colorful and whimsical, but grounded in a sense of realism, the animation flows so smoothly like the image knew what it wanted before ever becoming real. And the story is relatable and touching. Good stuff
