My new favorite tiny, keychain-sized light as of late is the MecArmy X4S, which uses the same teeny-tiny 10180 battery, and also uses built-in USB charging instead of a separate charger. That might be one that you want to check out in the future. It has a much wider and more floody beam than the GT Nano, though. The Nano's throwing capability in proportion to its small size is definitely impressive. Kind of tempted to get one now. GREAT video!!!

My Lummi Wee uses a 10180 battery too. It came with a Nano Charger, which was designed to charge 16340 (CR123A sized) batteries. To use it for that tiny battery, it came with a bunch of tiny magnets that took up the distance between the charger's terminals and the battery's end caps. With the right amount of magnets suck on the battery, it fit the charger like a glove.

I wanted to add that there are a lot of 1-chip solutions for Li-Ion charging, especially the 1 cell variety because of the cellphone industry. It makes it pretty straight forward for a manufacturer to include a quality charger with a product without adding a lot of cost. The charger chips pretty smart and can charge essentially any capacity cell, although a really large cell can take a very long time. Some of the chips are designed to be built into a battery pack and keep a charge history to maximize the life as cells age, this unit probably doesn't do that.

That nano torch is something else, I have a few small LED torches, but that tiny one looks allot brighter than most. I wonder how long that little 80mah battery lasts with that LED running maxed out? Handy that it's rechargeable, not so handy is having a propitiatory USB connector that's remarkably easy to lose.

I've lost count of how many Matt-Smith vidjyas I've watched. Only a few months ago I had an Eveready Dolphin flashlight with a near flat battery. Now I couldn't tell you how many $20-$450 flashlights I have, but it's well past 20.
Got one for Christmas, have to be honest it looks like a toy, but WOW is it bright! Just got 4 spare batteries today for it.

I love mine. It doesn't take too long to drain that cute little cell when running Turbo, but it's such a cool miniature thrower and a must have!

This 10180 battery is readily avaliable & you can purchase them on a number of sites.
It's been used in the D.Q.G Fairy, Spy, Hobi, Hobi Plus & 10220 Micro lights for years..

Lumintop announced a few day ago on it's facebook page that the Nano will be available for purchase on AMAZON starting on Jan 10. Keep an eye out for that if you don't want to order from China.

Nah non replaceable battery is a no go! This is a great keychain light ( it's for a quick look at something not a mega long burn light) it's a back up to your EDC not a replacement
I’ve had the I1R for over a year and it’s a great backup. Better battery life and power then you’re going to get from any non rechargeable light of that size.
Wow, so cute little thrower! And it really looks like a miniature of the big models. But with 80mAh battery 450lm will not last long. Personally I prefer fixed modes and if it had the UI of Acebeam and Thrunite it had been great.
Should give the ramping ui a chance. Didn’t think I would like it either but actually prefer it.
I agree with jeffy bean. The ramping uis are great once you get used to them. I prefer them over step now.

It works good but I still prefer to know exactly what brightness level I use...
What pocket light would you consider the brightest and most compact with distance.
What about "The FROG", got that and the GT Nano paired with 10440 batts. Frog's got a much warmer tint and gets crazy bright for that tint, just a really cool keychain light.

Yup Hi Matt, Chrispen G. In Florida I just received my tiny GT Nano cute. Yes it far out preforms all others that are of similar, well larger size I’ve compared to my Fenix TK35 UE 3200 lumens the Bano has a brighter spot.
I wish they would have been able to make the 10440 tube for it.
