I have the 126 and like the touchscreen features. I have it hooked up by cable with a 93 unit on the console. Occasionally I will hit the wrong spot, causing it to pause. But it doesn't happen that often. The thing I don't like about the echomap series is that it doesn't support active captain. I am thinking about getting a gpsmap® 1243xsv for the active captain and the hdmi output it offers.
I completely agree with you. The 1022 is the best unit to use with livescope. I have the same problem you have when trying to punch the button on my 106sv. Going to use my 106sv strictly for side imaging :)

I purchased this set up and I'm trying to wire it to my black box but the network cables are not the same.. did you get an adapter? There's an 8 pin male connector labeled network on the transducer module and my 1022 has a Ethernet cable that also has a male connector.. did you get a coupler or something?
What is live scope? I'm currently looking for a sounder, considering the Echomap 95sv with GT56UHD transducer and then there's the 95xsv (seemingly no transducer included. The xsv is $1,000 more expensive in Australia 🇦🇺 where I live, plus I'd need to buy the transducer. I have no knowledge of these sounders nor any experience with them. @@The_Garmin_Guru No, I hadn't looked at the 1022xsv, only because it's starting to get out of my current price range (1022xsv + GT51M-TM approximately $3,058) The 95sv with 56 transducer is $1,450, the 753xsv with 56 transducer $2,550 (pushing financial limit, but could make it work if its superiority to the 95sv is very noticeable).
