Of all the Sequels, IMHO, this one comes closest to the original in tone and spirit. Nothing can ever touch that pop-corn masterpiece from '87 but this is a worthy addition to the Predator Canon. Well done.

It is but I like hearing that "big bang boom" coming from shotguns. In this movie, you can hear more of the action reciprocating than the actual muzzle blasts. I guess to the sound techs, this sounds more cooler. In The Expendables, the AA-12 sounds more realistic and badass

I’m trying to understand why they didn’t build off this remake instead of remaking it all over again in 2018; this movie budget was moderately low and had a good RT score, plus this movie actually made descent money. The new remake had none of that 🤦🏾♀️
Don’t forget explosives shotgun rounds, I know they look like regular buck but no buck shot I know can kick up dirt like that, and those are definitely not slugs.
This was such a cool movie. The bad blood clans are such a cool concept cause they’re basically mindless destructive killers, so we got our cool guy honor bound hunters, and our mass murdering blood drinking space psychopaths...hurray! :D

No, the point wasn’t to kill them; the point was to flush them out into exposing themselves. Royce knew they were walking into an ambush, and snuck away while using the group as bait to see who they were facing. At this point they have already lost 2 men and no one knows who or what they are facing. In combat and hunting information gathering is almost as important as breathing and water, and they were hemorrhaging bad at this point.

Always liked this scene: Royce flushing out the two predators, giving away their positions., so he could find out what they're up against.
I like how the super predators move when they were dodging the shots as they were really not expecting a counter attack like that to their ambush

The African, the Russian and Hanzo were my favorite characters. They did Hanzo justice but Mahershala Ali deserved a better death.
