Ok im starting to be convinced that modders are wizards. There must be some kind of black magic going on. I remember the build-up to mods in JWE1, and there was only skin edits, then there was the breakthrough for new species, then buildings and cosmetics. And shout out to everybody, old and new, its come so far, its incredible, thank you for doing all of this for the community, all for free. Resizes, beautifully textured and creative new species and rig editing and importing animations into the first game? Extraordinary.
this certainly proves that Frontier could port _Planet Zoo_ models and animations to JWE2 themselves like i've been hoping (if it were up to me, the very last DLC pack for the game would be a Cenozoic one not only as a swansong for the whole game but also a taste of what could come in a JWE3, and ideally there would be far more than the standard 4-5 species included by porting _Planet Zoo_ models and changing them appropriately to reduce their workload, since most of the iconic Cenozoic animals are "just" bigger and hairier versions of ones that are still around today)
Seeing the resized Giga reminds me of Dino Crisis 2 where the Guga was equally absurdly huge, practically dwarfing the Tyrannosaurus Rex in sheer size and presence.
Man, that shot of the Giga emerging from behind the tree-line was great. What an absolute monster. Giant size does seem to suit the Dominion Giga design rather well. And all those new species are gorgeous. Mod-makers bringing in some fantastic stuff, as usual.
The moment I saw the blue Gorgo walk out I just pictured the little bird from the movie popping in going "Gorgosaurus. A ferocious predator with sharp teeth and tiny arms. He was...I'm sorry I can't with those little arms. They look so cute." Some days I regret seeing that movie XD I will say seeing that preposterously large Giga makes me wanna see that applied to either a Godzilla or perhaps more realistically a Zilla. Just imagine a Zilla wandering around a ruined city in JWE2. Look pretty cool.
Regarding size editing, the only actual glitch they have is regarding ragdolls, they fuck up badly. Although hunting animations would still need to be edited to look good with the new sizes.
@@BestInSlotGaming Thats probably more so with collisions, IK and similar, since is well, really really big, so is having a hard time moving around the map.
You missed NetRaptor's Iguanacolossus and Trip's Pycnonemosaurus (but since you said you went through a long day, then I think it is ok that you missed them).

I wanted Gorgosaurus in the main roster of species of jwe2 or it could of been in the late cretaceous dlc pack instead of australovenator.

There's some weird animation quirks, when the Giga roars it folds in on itself, but it's still super impressive
