- Hey guys, here's an updated version of how I apply eyeshadows on my deep set eyes. I hope you find this tutorial helpful ☺️
I cannot stress how important it is to use the right brushes! I used to use the brushes that came in the Morphe 12 piece set and they just didn't work that well for my eye shape, but the Zoeva Complete Eye Brush Set worked miracles for my deep set eyes. I would highly, highly recommend them. Just watch my previous Deep set eye makeup tutorial to see the difference.

I have to say that after watching your video and reading some of the comments below, I agree with what a lot of people have said. There is a lot of videos on hooded eyes but not a lot on deep set eyes, so thank you so much for a great video that was very helpful for me. Definitely subscribed. I could not for the life of me figure out why most of my eye-makeup was just disappearing into my crease! Took me far too long to realize my eyeshape. Thank you for a video so well explained. I have deep set eyes and i often struggle to find videos about that, while there are plenty and plenty videos for hooded eyes.

So happy you posted this! I always wondered why my eyeshadows never came out like everyone else’s. It always seemed like I had a bunch of left over space from brow bone to my lid. It makes so much sense now tho

but wouldn't applying highlight to your brow bone bring out the bone even more. I used to do this all the time (as all the MUAs have suggested) until I realized how deep-set my eyes were. Now I'm reconsidering again..

Absolutely gorgeous, I love everything about it! I hope you don't mind me saying though, the lashes seem to cover your beautiful artwork of the eye shadow a bit too much and kinda steal the show, all I do is stare at the lashes where before the lashes I looked at your whole eye and was blown away how gorgeous it looked. Also, with the sweater and hair, you had such an incredibly elegant and classy look the lashes took a bit away from I feel, they just don't look classy and so mess with the classy look. I don't have a problem with fake lashes though, I just felt that something a bit more feathery and less heavy would have looked glamorous but still natural, and above all would not have covered your eye shadow so much, because that is the real star of the show. I hope this doesn't come across as too critical, I honestly love what you are doing and think not only are you gorgeous, you are one of the few genuinely classy make up gurus on youtube which shows in everything - your taste and choice of colours (which is incredibly tasteful), the way you speak and carry yourself, and how you make something so glamorous still look effortless and not "fake". Subscribed, and can't wait to see what you do next! Much love.
I don’t mind your input at all! I appreciate what you’re saying. I have struggled to find decent eyelashes that are also light and feathery at the same time. I see what you mean about the lashes not fitting in. They are quite big for my eyes
Very pretty! I've got a lot smaller eyes... And so I don't have as much lid space as you do to play in😢 but... DEFINITELY love the look (put it this way... The "accent" brush you used for highlighter, I use for placing lighter colors on my lid!!😳🙄 I have a hard time finding "how to" videos on deep set eyes... So... Keep them coming!❤😘

I had thought the lightest shade on brow bone, one shade darker on lid and usually the contour colour (usually a bit dark) on crease and the darkest to apply at the side. Can someone please tell me a quick method for flawless look

i'm 52, and I can't believe how younger girls are putting on make up like they're getting ready for a stripping job. And they all end up looking the same. I blame youtube videos. Girls, stop wearing so much make up, and please, those eyebrows look so ridiculous, you're going to look back on this in ten twenty years and won't believe how horrible it looks. Especially if you have dark features, just wear lipstick and a bit of concealer and you're set for god's sake. Why is everyone trying to look like an arab bride, no matter what race they are?

I will take the higher road and advise you not to watch any of my videos if it upsets you that much. I don’t know you, nor your race or background, but are you saying darker/olive skinned girls should not wear makeup? Or are you saying that we should feel inferior due to our skin colour?

Excellent video. A question - if I am not going for smokey eye, can I skip the darker colours?
You don’t have to use the same palette I did in this video and you don’t have to go for the same colours either. Play around with your eyeshadow palettes. Use lighter colours if you want to 😊

If I don't sleep early at night I usually ends up having this type of eye shape Does it mean I have deep set eyes?
I think that might just be bags. For me, my eyes look this way all the time, whether I have 2 hrs of sleep or 12 hrs. If your eye look like mine all the time then maybe you have deep set eyes too. Hope this helps

This was such a useful video! I learned so much just from this one video of yours. I have very prominent brow bones too and I never know how high to bring my shadow or how much to take it in and it would feel like no matter how much detail I put into it it would always look the same, never like these other RUclipsrs that I watch. I would always get envious of people with hooded eyes and have even considered surgery. Thx so much for your help!!

How do you prevent eye shadow from migrating upwards to the brow bone?
Have you tried setting your base with some powder before you start applying your eyeshadow? If you already do this, maybe avoid using setting spray on your eyes

How do I remember which shade to apply first on crease and which one next? Can I apply only one shade on lid and one on crease and one to the side ? It's hard to remember which colour to apply to blend in so that crease doesn't have dark shade
Just have to remember to start from light to dark shades and from bigger brushes to smaller brushes. The eyelid can then be any colour you like

Bronzer works really well if you're going for a more casual look! It's the perfect natural shade for your eyes and works well with deep set
