The entire Bat Out Of Hell album is a banger. Every. Song. "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)" "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" "Heaven Can Wait" "All Revved Up With No Place To Go" "For Crying Out Loud" Keep on keepin' on, man!
I heard an interview on Sirius XM from meatloaf back in the day and he stated that the guitarist played this song straight through in one take the guitarist was Todd Rundgren
"For Crying Out Loud" is my favorite song of theirs... I could listen to that all the time... It's on my please play this at my funeral list. Not gonna lie.
This whole album is a true masterpiece! My favorite song is Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad! His vocals on it is crazy! For Crying Out Loud is another great one. Many people miss what this song was about. He’s in a town that if stays, he’s going to get into trouble. He’s going to leave in the morning so this will be their only night together. He gets on his motorcycle and is flying down the road. The whole time all he is doing is thinking of her. That’s why he doesn’t see the curve ahead. He ends up in a pit, the bike all twisted. He’s lying there dying but he’s still thinking about her. Really a sad song.
Todd Rundgren's production on this album is amazing. He pulled an all-star band together and also played brilliant guitar. The songwriter wanted the sound of Harley in the song. Todd reproduced it with his guitar then went into that searing guitar solo all in one take. A favorite all time guitar song for me. The video is nicely produced. The band they are showing is not who you are actually hearing. You are actually hearing the album track.
You need to listen to the Bat out of Hell album in order. He wrote rock operas. Vast, sweeping stories and huge sound to go with the lyrics. He had a huge voice with a cracking range and a presence u couldn’t ever ignore. He was a complete one off and a ridiculous talent. And we were lucky to have been blessed with him. Give the whole album a run through from start to finish. Xx
The guy you see in this vid playing keyboards is the late, truly great, Jim Steinman, the genius who wrote nearly all Meat's songs. All the motorbike sounds in this vid were made by a guitar.
My favorite from that album is For Crying Out Loud. Later ones are Life’s a Lemon and Objects in the Rear View Mirror from the album Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell.
The album is also called Bat Out of Hell - a concept album about vampire life. Meatloaf gave everything in his performances! He actually died a few times on stage and had to be resuscitated!
Some k.d. Lang would be good most people start with Hallelujah or her version of Roy Orbison’s Crying at his tribute concert she has an amazing catalogue of songs all genres she started out in country Turn Me Round/ Three Cigarettes in an Astray on the Johnny Carson show is fab,Big Boned Gal, & her duets with Tony Bennett & Sir Elton John ❤
Great Reaction....... Meatloaf always described himself as an Actor who sang...... He has a Large Roster of Movie/TV appearances, Including.... "Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Blackdog," "Fight Club," "Tenesious G: Pick of Destiny" You mentioned his energy level during perfoming..... Rumor/Urban Legend is; He would put so much effort into his stage perfomances, that it was comon for him to collaspe between the stage and dressing room, it was so common that staff would just bring him a pillow/cushion and water and not interupt him.
Yes please more Meat Loaf, have everything he ever recorded, saw him live here in UK at Warwick Castle, met him twice, great actor too was in Fight Club and Rocky Horror, loads of films and TV
"For Crying Out Loud" Meatloaf said this is the best love song ever , the last segment is majestic - please react to the studio album version from bat out of hell album as their are very few video of this live. The very later video versions do not do it justice due to meatloaf's age. It Is A Masterpice of music and lyrics
Check out his later years performance from 2005 when he’s performing in Melbourne Australia with the Melbourne symphony orchestra along with his great band to give his music an extra layer of sound.
I was fortunate enough to meet Meat Loaf at a convention in Sept 2021 a few months before he passed. He did a panel discussion where he explained: "I'm not a singer. I can't sing. I'm an actor and some of the characters I play can sing."
You have to check out Dire Straits Sultans Of Swing from the Alchemy Tour in 1983. Great song, great lyrics and Mark Knopflers guitar playing is brilliant, and Terry Williams drumming is outstanding also.
I would also suggest Stealing, as it shows a bit of humor, but also amazing vicals and musisianship. Another fan favorite would be The Wizard for showing their harmonies. Uriah Heep is such an under rated band, and too many people know nothing about them. Sadly, they are slowly being lost to time.
Its funny, people think, because your in the music industry you should know every song ever written. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️, come on guys.. If that was the case I should know every song all the way back to the 50’s. We don’t all have the same taste in music, and that’s cool. Have a great day AOD❤️❤️❤️👵🏼 Gmaw
Amazing, Lp 12 years old playing poker and blackjack for too much money with other boys. Girls playing the album again and again as we played - soaked in Musts Small Faces - All or Nothing The Who - my generation, must be 60s or us tv version. Van Morrison - stoned me. Bruce - thunder road, song of realising that the talent meant leaving. Led Zeppelin - Whole lotta of love, transports 99% of women, is incredible. AC/DC - long way to the top, original Aussie version. Jealous - you’ve opened a cornucopia. Never give up on hiphop/rap - been into I since 81 - GMF & the F5.
Honestly, IMO, For Crying out Loud is Meatloafs best song. You really need to check it out But Bat out of Hell is right up there with it!🎉🎉 it's a perfect song to get you worked up.. 🎉🎉
I think you’d like my fav Meatloaf song- For Crying Out Loud. But don’t listen to the live. The studio version is MUCH better! Btw. Love your reactions
Dude, what's going on? this is from your other channel, 2 years ago. Are you going to do new stuff or just keep bringing old stuff over from the other channel?
Jim Steinman's words + Mealoaf's voice, an unbeatable combination.
Can't forget Todd Rundgren's production...and his fabulous guitar work.
The entire Bat Out Of Hell album is a banger. Every. Song. "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)" "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" "Heaven Can Wait" "All Revved Up With No Place To Go" "For Crying Out Loud"
Keep on keepin' on, man!
Right? My kneck is sprained OMFG I'm getting okd!😂 OW OW OW
Yes! I love the album. It’s hard to listen to just one song from it
He was asthmatic and his performances were so intense he had oxygen waiting backstage to use between songs.
RIP Meat 💔 no one like him
I heard an interview on Sirius XM from meatloaf back in the day and he stated that the guitarist played this song straight through in one take the guitarist was Todd Rundgren
I believe he was also the producer and/ or sound engineer on the album
Oh wow, cool
@@peterfreund2223oh wow x2, cool.
One of the biggest selling albums of all time - over 40 million copies sold. And it's spent just over 10 years in total on the UK album charts!
I remember when this album came out, all the teenagers in my neighborhood had it. Played it over and over again.
This song is about a bike crash. You miss the full intro watching the video version.. well worth checking out
Best album of all time written by the king of lyrics, Jim Steinman and sung by the wonderful, one and only Meat!
RIP both.
The motorcycle noise is actually Todd Rungren's guitar!!! This whole album is a masterpiece, start to finish.
He loved theater. He described himself one time in an interview as an actor that likes to sing.
I saw him in Glasgow. Lots of us missed the last train home to hear him sing this! Iconic and well worth the long walk back! 🤘🏻😂
This is a classic. My favourite Meatloaf song.
"For Crying Out Loud" is my favorite song of theirs... I could listen to that all the time... It's on my please play this at my funeral list. Not gonna lie.
Next up:
Two Out of Three Aint Bad
You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth
This whole album is a true masterpiece! My favorite song is Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad! His vocals on it is crazy! For Crying Out Loud is another great one.

One of the GOATs. Have to do Paradise by the Dashboard and I’d do anything for love
The song is actually about a deadly motorcycle crash. At 8:30 he sings "...and I never seen the sudden curve 'till it's way too late..."
Yes Meatloaf 💯 Two out of three ain't bad must be next my friend. Great reaction and Peace out 🙏 ☮️ ✌️
Objects In The Rearview Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are
I love all of Meatloaf's performances and was amazed when I found out he had asthma. I remember him talking about it on "Celebrity Apprentice."
That last bat out of hell always sends shivers down my spine. I saw him in Brighton England in the early 80s , best concert ever
Lucky enough to be there when this album came out, all-time favorite!!! 😃❤️
Todd Rundgren's production on this album is amazing. He pulled an all-star band together and also played brilliant guitar. The songwriter wanted the sound of Harley in the song. Love meatloaf!!!
My first album I ever got!❤
You need to listen to the Bat out of Hell album in order.

He was a complete one off and a ridiculous talent.

Meat didn't write the songs. Jim Steinman did
The guy you see in this vid playing keyboards is the late, truly great, Jim Steinman, the genius who wrote nearly all Meat's songs. All the motorbike sounds in this vid were made by a guitar.

Yes. You were thinking Paradise by the Dashboard Light. You should listen to “Two out of Three Ain’t Bad”.
The album is also called Bat Out of Hell - a concept album about vampire life.
Meatloaf gave everything in his performances! He actually died a few times on stage and had to be resuscitated!
you have just heard the best song of all time.
Please do You Took the Words Right Out of my Mouth for your next Meatloaf reaction.
Some k.d. One of my favorites from him is Objects in the Rearview Mirror
I just found your new channel. Glad I'm here now! Meatloaf is awesome! I gotta check out the rest.
The piano player is Jim Steinman the guy who wrote all the songs on albums meatloaf song on
Not all of them. They split up sometime in the mid 80s and didn't collaborate on any of Meatloaf's albums until 1993s Bat Outta Hell 2.
“Hip Hop Head, born in the late ‘80’s” You’re forgiven! 😂😂
As a lyricist, you will love 2 Out Of 3 Ain't Bad. Same concert and album as this.
Great Reaction.......

He was also in the movie "Leap of Faith" with Steve Martin.
@@elgenetiamzon1062 I believe his IMDB says he was in over 100 TV Episodes & Movies....
More please 🙏

I've always called this the speeding ticket song, because it's a great driving song but your foot can get a little heavy on the accelerator peddle. 😁
Please do For Crying Out Loud from the same album. No video, but the song is magnificent. ❤
Re subbed mate 💯😁😁
Beard! 🤘🏻
Check out his later years performance from 2005 when he’s performing in Melbourne Australia with the Melbourne symphony orchestra along with his great band to give his music an extra layer of sound.
Just about everyone in Australia has this album.
you should check out his song: a kiss is a terrible thing to waste.
its very good.
I was fortunate enough to meet Meat Loaf at a convention in Sept 2021 a few months before he passed. He did a panel discussion where he explained: "I'm not a singer. I can't sing. I'm an actor and some of the characters I play can sing."
My favorite Meatloaf song🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
❤❤❤ i love the shirt ❤
nobody makes music like the team behind meat lof
Jim Steinman writes the best songs
It's a one night stand that he can't stop thinking about till it causes him to crash his bike.
You have to check out Dire Straits Sultans Of Swing from the Alchemy Tour in 1983. Great song, great lyrics and Mark Knopflers guitar playing is brilliant, and Terry Williams drumming is outstanding also.
I have listened to this song at least 200 times and never got "bat-tering ram." Good job.
Should also watch him in Rocky Horror and Fight Club
The song is about the ultimate motor bike accident
Objects in the rear view appear closer than they are
This man…. sigh
He was incredible and greatly missed
For crying out loud should be the next track you check out from Meat Loaf. For me it’s the best song on the Album
Uriah heep they are the 4th band outside the Classic Rock Trinity Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, try Circle of Hands
Now go back and listen to the full version with the 3 minute intro. They chopped it for the video.
Have a great day AOD❤️❤️❤️👵🏼 Gmaw
this song has nothing to do with vampires.
Thank you
Hey if you want a really good one listen to life is a lemon by meatloaf it's awesome

Rock opera..he would get very mad if you called him a singer..he knew he was a performer ..
The best song Meatloaf did was For crying out loud (his words, not mine)
Honestly, IMO, For Crying out Loud is Meatloafs best song. You really need to check it out
But Bat out of Hell is right up there with it!🎉🎉 it's a perfect song to get you worked up.. 🎉🎉
I think you’d like my fav Meatloaf song- For Crying Out Loud. But don’t listen to the live. The studio version is MUCH better! Btw. Love your reactions
Annoys me when radio stations only play the first half. The boy starting to foam in the heat was himself.
2 out of 3 ain't bad
Dude, what's going on? this is from your other channel, 2 years ago. Are you going to do new stuff or just keep bringing old stuff over from the other channel?
PLEASE listen to Dire Straits- Brothers in arms. It is the most beautiful song i've ever hear!!!
