God bless the good people. They exist. ❤ I’m a crim defense lawyer and I had a client in custody who was having a diabetic crisis. Apparently the other deputies thought he was “faking” (for no reason other than that he was an inmate) and one of the deputies stood up to them and said nope, he’s about to go into a diabetic coma and immediately called emergency medical services. That deputy saved his life. When I won the hearing to get my client out of prison I made a point of putting that officers conduct on the record and thanking her for saving his life and remembering that inmates are human beings. She stood up to a bunch of male deputies who were telling her to just put my client on the bus. He would have died. Thats what a hero looks like to me. ❤
@@Bevaboo thank you for being a kind and lovely human! In this case it was even more tragic because my client was serving a life sentence for a petty theft and I was appointed to get him resentenced, which I did, and if he had died in that jail cell after being released from a life sentence I probably would not have been able to forgive those deputies. 💔
It’s nice when people go out of their way to help others. She seems like a very peaceful lady and a good example and help to others. Thank you Nate!

God bless this deputy! Whatever criminals have done, they're people, too, and they deserve at least basic medical care.
