YEAHHH, I had the birdman picked for the second round! I lost round one but oh well haha. Birdman I don't think will go much further. Those knobs are just really uncomfortable 😣 I've swung the SG2 but never swung the CY from LOUISVILLE. Can't wait! Really wish these were out daily for bat madness videos 🤣

My 9yo just got the kid version of the birdman bat for Christmas, in an uncupped maple. He hasn't had a chance to swing it yet due to a broken ankle, but soon.
As an update my kids loves his Birdman. He even did a review. Everyone loves the funkyness of the knob and the crazy ugly sticker.

We have a B45 birch on our softball team with that flair. I still drop 2. Now to be fair I have to buy xxl-xxxl batting gloves. I usually build my handles up to 7/8 " width.

@@Billyws213 I love the flair but would like a thicker handle like on the easton wood softball bats. Our league is wood bat only and I went through 4 bats last summer. Two were bamboo one ash and a maple.
@@baseballbatbros It is a wood only league. We use hot dots for balls and they can fly. We tried grey dots and they were not as good. We went to wood as it is a 30 and over league and we would have guys like me hit 9 HRs in a game. Now I'm down to 1 maybe 2 a game.

Could you do a cf zen bbcor vs the goods bbcor I am trying to decide which bat to get
One is balanced and one is pretty endloaded. The Goods will stomp the CF all day....but it's made for a strong power hitter. The reality is that the CF is not really that great in BBCOR. If you are dying for a composite then the Meta is still king. But if you just want the best balanced bat get a voodoo one and be done with it.

We have one of the S318 LS bats. It was used by one of our Columbia Fireflies players Sharvyen Newton (Curacao) . 34/31.5 seems really end weighted. well used and you can see it is nicely compressed. Way too much bat for me, but it feels really good when you barrel it up.

The only bad thing about these videos are when sporting good stores (and some ebay sellers) see them, and jack their prices up. My playing days are well behind me, so it doesn't really affect me.

Not a fan of birch but the maple model I've used for years now has a flared knob, it really balances beautifully, and what I do is tape the crap out of the bottom 3/4 - 1" of the knob so it's easy to have the same consistent choke up and it works like a charm.
