    Thanks so much! Very useful!. Question:how do you do the same with raster (integer) files? Thanks a lotin advance!

      What have you tried so far? How I would do it depends on if they are in a gdb or a folder structure. And exporting to excel would be cumbersome. Converting to ascii and going from there might be easier but it depends what you are trying to achieve

    Hi, is there a way to modify this - I want to export all of the data in the layers of a whole GDB into excel? Id appreciate any help!

      Hi Victoria, thanks for watching. Yes, if you build a model you can modify as much as you'd like to. How many layers do you have in your gdb?

    is there any way to modify this slightly to add the tables as tabs to the same spreadsheet? Just curious.... Thanks for the very informative video.

      Thanks for the question Gary. It's an interesting one. I'd probably approach this by writing a python script to compile the output tables and bring that script into model builder

    Hello. I am using model builder to solve spatial questions of a related database table but confuse as tools required to run in order to get my output for a question like : "What is the total sum of a single tree specie at a specific location in a particular year". I will build a back-end like GUI through the model through which the user can interact with to select the specie, location, and the year which will give output of the numbers. I hope you get what I am trying to say. Thanks. I need the tools to run the model of that type.

      Thanks for sending through the data Ayokunle. If you could please email through a description of the field headings for both tables that would be very useful (I'm afraid my German isn't very good ;-) )

    Plz explain the procedure of making shape files from excel tables in batch mode. I want to key in just the input folder and output folder location.

      Good question alam. Do you have an example of one of the excel files and are they all similar? You can find my contact details on the website at www.burdgis.com

    table to csv . it mean attribute table ? cause I have a gdb and I wonna use it with jupyter i think ii have convert it to csv file

    • @burdGIS

      A gdb in Jupyter! Yes you could export to .csv (it does mean attribute table) OR you could take a look at integrating ArcGIS desktop with PyCharm ruclips.net/video/Ug3Mh_V9xvo/видео.html

    What if we have thousands of tiff (raster) files and needed to be extracted in one or less steps using the model builder. I am extracting CHIRPS daily rainfall tiff files for 30 years, so how to extract them into excel??

    • @burdGIS
      @burdGIS  3 года назад

      Thanks GA. What do you need them to look like in Excel (and have you considered a different workflow? Thousands of raster files in Excel sounds like it will be fraught with problems)? Perhaps try converting to plain text (ASCII) first?

    How do you change Null in attribute table to an integer? Thanks

    • @burdGIS
      @burdGIS  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Nue, you will likely have to start an editing session to edit your table. If you'd like a video on how to do that please let me know.

    When I run this I get the error "Invalid worksheet name". My tables look something like: "database.canada_Birds_Counts", and I cannot edit them. Is there a workaround to make the export name valid? Thanks!

    • @burdGIS
      @burdGIS  5 лет назад

      Thanks Elizabeth. When you say you cannot edit them does that mean they have to have that output name? I suspect it's a problem with the full stop after database in the output name

    Can this tool export tables from feature classes?

    • @burdGIS
      @burdGIS  3 года назад

      Hi Jaimie. Yes that shouldn't be a problem. Give it a try and let me know if you run into any difficulty.

      No problem Herman. I'm glad to see this model is still working. I think it's high time I updated these modelbuilder videos.
