Dell Curry was the most reliable shooters in his prime. He taught Stephen how to shoot threes and he leads the Hornets of all-time in 3-point shooting🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
Didn't know Dell was drafted by Utah. Imagine how good the lineup of Dell Curry, Mugsey Bouges, Larry Johnson, and Alonzo Mourning could've been had they stuck together.
My dude, you have to (should) do one on Bonzi Wells. definition of a forgotten/underrated player. dude used to give Kobe/lakers problems back in the day.💯 dope channel
Dell Curry has always been one of My Favorite Players … I used to crush people with that 97-98 team in NBA Live … Mason , Coleman , Divac , Geiger , Dell Curry were my best players when I would pick them in the game
@ That Team was Lethal … 97-98 they had Glen Rice with Mason … Then 98-99 they had Mason at the 3 and Coleman at the 4 with Eddie Jones at the 2 … Charlotte was mean
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American, male and heterosexual (showing what prism I view the world through). Knowing Deli Curry had strong wrists, I used to lift dumbbells to strengthen my WRISTS, to enable me to shoot from farther out. I know that in 1990-91, he had a down year, scoring only 10.6 ppg. But, according to Rick Adelman, Deli Curry was a player they discussed, for the Drazen Petrovic trade. Adrian Dantley, Ron Anderson and Kelly Tapioca were other names mentioned. They chose Walter Davis, and we know how that cost the Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers.
I used to love those Hornets teams as a kid and Dell was a good player. i definitely remember him. I loved watching Dell as a player as playing as those Hornets teams on video games in the 90's as well. This was a great era of NBA basketball.
The Hornets' biggest win came when they knocked off the Boston Celtics in the 1993 playoffs. It turns out, the Hornets of the 1990s were more than just sick jerseys. Although they were never able to put together much postseason success (only won 2 playoff series in the decade), they were able to develop an impressive amount of talent, especially for a squad that was an expansion team as recently as 1988.
I was born in Seattle in 1973, Sonics and Blazers fan. At the time, I thought the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic logos, colors and jerseys were so awesome!
If MJ didnt return to the bulls in 95 charlotte would’ve went on a deep run , LJ was healthy and Zo was healthy , too bad Zo didn’t step up alongside LJ in 95
I had Heat season tickets 93-95, used to bring binoculars and get there hours before the game just to watch Dell shoot jumpers when they played Charlotte
At Glen Rices Hornet Celebration;Dell Curry talked up their personal struggles at the time.Dell Curry& Glen Rice would shoot after practice shots& when they were on streak; their code words were "Matches"....😊
Downtown dell curry a great role for charlotte and there first ever pick in the expansion draft, the hornets need to retire his and muggsy bogues number they were fan favorites
@andresdelportillo9917 nahh Dell Curry jersey needs to be Retired Next... he deserve it ... he still with the organization... he been loyal to Charlotte forever. ..... LJ is a Knick ... he is loyal to Knicks.... he will always be a HORNET ... but LJ is a Knick.... Curry is a HORNET
Can you please do a video on three Macon, Georgia legends Norm Nixon, Jeff Malone, and Elmore Smith all perfect players for your channel please 🙏🏽 do a video on them
You watched this video and thought that this man's career was "trash".?? You make no sense at all and you don't know basketball. Steph is a better player, but Dell was far from "trash". Idiot take.
One of my favorite Video game characters. You could always count on Dell for a clutch three ....! Peace & Love from Toronto 🇨🇦.
Faaaaaaacts
In his prime this man was giving teams 15-16 ppg off the bench every night. Shot that rock clean. 48-50% and 40% ftom 3,. Loved his game.

100% + if LJ never injures his back
I loved that Hornets squad. As well as Kelly Tripuka when he was there too. Those Vlade Divac, Glen Rice Horneys teams were good too.
@17thN.O 😂😂Man, they put Hornets on the map and sold some jerseys and starter jackets

i was always a Dell Curry fan as well as that Hornets squad and would destroy people with them on "NBA Live" and "Give and Go/Run and Gun" as well.

I used to run a Dell Curry/Hersey Hawkins backcourt on NBA Showdown 94. Shoot threes all game.
😂😂😂
Been waiting for this one. People need to know who taught the so-called best shooter ever.

Dell is phenomenal. One of Hornets legends. Kemba though is the 3 point KING. That's why we never get shown. Nobody knows our history😢
everyone on the 90's was more then just a shooter, not like today's one dimensional 'game'
I mean not always let's be real.
I was born in Seattle in 1973. Note my birth year. Girls back in 1991, used to say that Coach Allan Bristow was good-looking.
Thank you 😊
I didn't know Wardell was Dell's real name. Wardell Stephen Curry
Thats steph curry real name as well
@stevencollins920 So Steph should be with Junior on his full name
Well Steph does go by Wardell Stephen Curry II legally

Cool channel. I suggest you do a video on Tom Chambers. Probably the most underrated player of all time. Should be a HOF.
You should do a video on Keith Lee. I LOVE your content! Keep it up
Oh i know, that's a video I've been wanting do for awhile. Definitely plan on it at some point
I remember steph shooting from halfcourt as a kid when Dell played for the raptors.
Imagine if Dell was on the Bulls or Pistons when they were winning titles...... Mannnnn
Him as Jordans back up would be crazy
I was just thinking about your pg you need to do George Hill every time I see Tyrese Haliburton her reminds me of him
Thank you!!!💯💯💯
