  • STANDING FRAME FOR SPINAL CORD INJURY
    I stand every day in my easy stand standing frame mostly because it helps with spasticity by calming down my spasms but there are also other health benefits to getting out of my wheelchair and standing upright.
    In this video I show you a stand in my easystand standing frame and the show the impact it has on my spasms.
    I love the effect so much that I try and stand twice a day.
    If you are interested in checking out how else I manage my spasticity watch this playlist.

    Another really informative video Em.... I’m learning so much about living with a spinal injury. The standing frame looks awesome and so cool how it fully supports you. So great how it provides you with relief from pasta and risottos antics 😂🤣

    You look great in those braids; the ones on the side are hard to do...good job on whoever did them.

      @EmQuattrocchi  3 года назад

      My friend did them for me, she’s really good at it! I keep practising in the hopes I’ll be able to do it one day, but I’m struggling 😆

      @@EmQuattrocchi I can do the single one down my back...but not the ones on the sides
      for some reason. Since my neck is so mssed up and sore, and I have no real hand function, I also get someone else to do them for me.

    • @EmQuattrocchi
      @EmQuattrocchi  3 года назад

      You do well to do the single one, I struggle with that too!
      I struggle with the holding my arms up and using the core to keep me upright. So I am taking a break from trying 😆 but I’ll go back to trying soon hopefully!

    That’s cool yours is electric, mine I had to do it manual.

    • @EmQuattrocchi
      @EmQuattrocchi  3 года назад

      Yeah I love it! Makes it so much easier to get up.
      I needed it because with my spasms it was too hard to do it manually.

    Nice work. I changed to a "standing" wheelchair. The biggest advantage for me was to be standing and mobile in the wheelchair. #NeverQuit ❤

    Hello Ma'am...This is Joseph David Raj*, aged 37 years had been working as TEACHER in a Private School.. Unfortunately, I met with a road accident in KURNOOL on September 11, 2017 which resulted in Multiple Fractures and damage. As a result, my spinal cord has got damaged (D2 - D7level) and I have been spending a bedridden life for the past FOUR YEARS...I don't have that much of money to buy Standing Frame...Pls suggest me what to do...😔plssss 🙏🙏🙏😔

      If you can’t afford one, I suggest doing other helpful things you can afford like stretching everyday or you could even have your friends help hold you up in standing.

      Sorry for delayed response! I have actually been in hospital and not home so couldn’t check because I didn’t remember. It’s the easy stand EVOLV with a few added customisations to it 😊
      As for the price I’m not sure sorry, because my insurance paid for it not me.
