DARKFEST 2024 - Big Tricks and Big Slams, Double Backflips and Isted hits the 110ft!

- The week is over half way done here at Darkfest 2024 and finally the conditions are perfect for the guys and girls! So that means its time for possibly the biggest session we have ever had! Unfortunately Talus Turk goes too big on the 90 and crashes on a flatspin, but the rest of the crew march on with some never before seen tricks on the 90 and a double backflip mega send from the Ruso Bros! With probably just one session left, what else are we going to see this week?!

Isted backflipping the 110 first go to open it up is insane! And seeing Matt leading T2B trains through the 90 is great, he has definitely become one of the Darkfest crew!
Lord Sir Mr Sam Reynolds, Sir… you have assembled some of the greatest riders of our time in various venues over many years, and this seems to be an exceptional gathering - I can’t imagine how painful it must be for you to have created and curated all of this and not be participating in your inimitable manner. Absolute respect to you - wishing you bettererer. Be well and stay safe. You should be very proud!

Im wondering what's their tyre psi setup for this madness .
you have some bike reviews from years before on pinkbike, if my memory is correct anywhere from 45-60 psi in the tyres
You make the 110 any longer and you'll need scaffolding and wind shielding

@@ThomasSandell_ he definitely looked like he was 'over' trying to land those 180 attempts on the step-up (and said as such after his last go); I thought it was maybe as the landing was getting carved up so much it was revealing big lumps of rock for him to then crash land on, so yeah maybe caught his ankle on one of those or an awkward twist with his weight going over his ankle/bike landing on it or something. Shame, as bunny says, as the style he brought was impressive.

I feel like the first guy in the double flip train, if he tucked his tightest and held on, that he would have landed. Bailing often creates injury or damaged bike parts when not bailing would have resulted in a perfectly fine land. I've been doing dubs for a decade now (bmx) and I get it how scary it can be when you're unsure mid flip.
