From what I can tell this is the best daily driver in the segment. For someone looking for a 2nd fun car, or a track car, I’d go with M3 or M4. But if you just want to own 1 car, and track isn’t a priority I’d definitely go RS5. Best looking exterior and interior in my opinion, best practicality and most comfort daily driving. Also a great winter car. Does it all and has plenty of performance
@@temporal8342 I've driven the M3 not the comp and not the xdrive. I've driven an M4 comp. The thing about those cars is that for a daily I think they are too harsh. The M cars to me (and this is personal taste) is that they are toys. Audi to me (personal taste) are the fun everyday cars. I can push my car harder and faster day to day than BMW. Even their xdrive can't grip like quattro. As a car that is my only car/daily. I prefer the Audi. Some more personal things for me. I like the Audi interiors more, I like the look of the Audi more. I also like the fact that it comes with a Porsche engine, granted it's nothing crazy like a 911 engine or something. But still cool. I understand the M cars have more power and top end are faster. But I'm not tracking my car. Would I like more power? Of course. But this is enough for me. There is a point as an enthusiast that you buy cars for more than just numbers on paper. That's just me.

I like carpet as a rear cargo liner. It looks better and doesn't scratch like vinyl.
I normally buy an extra cargo liner and small tarp that I use for wet items. It looks cleaner too.
Is this comfortable for long road trips with the family?
@@HamishCarpenter for me yes as I drive an exotic daily but it is more sporty than luxury meaning it’s a firm suspension
Is it a lot smoother on crappy roads than the M3 or about the same ?

Much better if you change drive mode to Individual with suspension on Comfort instead of Dynamic
The 30 low profile tires for northern states is what’s holding me back from this.
