And our tomorrows will never be the same without the harmonizing of The Statler Brothers
I can never hear to much of them. I feel so sad that Harold has passed. There will never anyone who sings bass like him. God Bless the Statler Bro’s
The greatest group of all time.
I think that they were God's gift to both country and Gospel music
Love you guys.Rest in peace Lou and Harold
The version with Jimmy Fortune is good but the one with Lew Dewitt is great. I loved his voice and he and now Harold Reid will be greatly missed.
I heard the version with Lew, it's okay but Jimmy's version is better.
@@barbaradraxlir1654 Both versions are great but I prefer the one with Lew which has a slower tempo. Both Lew and Jimmy are wonderful tenors.
The version with jimmy is great not just good. U can't compare the 2 there totally different styles
I can't go through too long without hearing this sweet harmony. There will never be another sound like theirs.
I cried when they retired!
So beautiful. 💕
Love the Statler Brothers. I live where they are from. Several streets are named after them
Jimmy is very good but I first heard by Lew DeWitt and I was hooked by the sound of his voice.
Elvis Presley recorded the song in 1970. It was written and recorded by Ernest Tubb in 1944.
So good to see and Harold. Really miss him. Many other good base singers have joined Heaven's choir. How great that must be.🎵🎶
This was my Sister's favorite song. And I love the version with Jimmy than Lew. It sounds better with Jimmy!!!
Beautiful..2021
Jimmy does not get credit for his beautiful voice
Amen to that,I. Reallyisshim
