As a fan of the “Old Show” this was very emotional to see how much they have both changed. I think Sr. Has mellowed and Jr. Has gotten older, and has a better work ethic now. So I think they have both met in the middle. They have both changed for the betterment of their relationship. And provided it’s not “Scripted” good for them! I hope it’s real, cause life’s too short!

Can I just buck the trend here, and say that as a fellow metal-botherer, I like these two and I wish them all the best! I remember the moment I found this show in England back in the day, as I had just started making armour at the time and I would have OCC playing in the workshop as I made rivets and scalloped Pauldrons... It really picked up my pace as I worked alone. But I remember how the show seemed to suddenly switch and it became more about the characters and less about the making. This was a new thing at the time, but now that we have to sift through a tsunami of so-caled 'reality' shows most of which don't seem to make a lot, I am delighted to see these two again because you know what.. I really liked the 'characters'. I don't care what you are making as long as you are making something, and perhaps in light of what has happened, and providing they are humble about things being more streamlined, this show might have even more heart this time round! Good luck chaps, and best wishes from me (and all the mice in the workshop) 🏆

This is great to see, unfortunaltely my father passed away before we could become friends. I was a stubborn ass and he was the person he was, so that was that. But it is great to see some people are fortunate and get the time in life to work things out.

He looks to be doing just fine, he's got a fine ranch and no doubt is enjoying his time at a slower pace. I am so happy the boys are making amends, I lost my Dad 2 years ago and would give anything to have just 1 day with him again. Remember 2 things in life. 1. It's not the destination that counts, it's the journey. 2. Your a long time dead.......
Paul Senior is just one of those guys who has a really hard time showing his feelings. I know he loves his sons but he just can't show it. if they can get past that they'll be alright.
He's inept at expressing what he needs to say to them. He leaves Mikey voicemails to say he wants to meet up etc, but he never says the key words that Mikey needs to hear. Then after he finishes leaving the message he opens up to the camera crew and says to them what he should put in the message. I MISS HIM ! Paul Sr ! Say it to Mikey. I MISS YOU. That might work you know.

After losing my Dad to cancer last year, I think Junior is fortunate to still have his Dad, despite all the issues. It's great to see their unity.
