Guys, Chanbin is mad not because of Soomin didn't put in enough effort nor he can't dance. It is actually him is being a two face in front of the trainer and before meeting the trainer. His words changes. At first, Soomin told the members that he can't perform, then they listened to him and even changed the formation (basically Soomin just rap and leave the stage and come back again like the 'HER' stage) due to his injury. Then suddenly when the trainer disagree about how the things went, he immediately tell the trainer that he told the members yesterday that he will still try to dance. The group members are kind enough to not expose him in front of the trainer. However, the group members already spent time practicing the five man formation for nothing. That's why the leader and other members are so frustrated. Soomin is irresponsible for his words and did not put himself in the members' shoes. He make the members wait for him during practice and did not turn up until later saying he can't perform. He even make careless mistakes not only during the performance and also in the rehearsal, so the team loses. (PS: I saw people commenting "Chanbin is mad because Soomin can't dance", that's not true at all. So, hope this comment cleared up the confusion.)
I like that chanbin didn't hold back even tho they were being filmed he still showed how disappointed he was and he didn't act fake in all that so I'm proud of you boy And chanbin is not being rude when he was not letting soomin explain ..yes his a hyung and chanbin needs to be repectful in terms of speaking to him but I think chanbin felt the unfairness of the situation not just to him but also to the other members who where adjusting their time for soomin and all that frustration just blew up and he got mad that's understandable
It's the difference in ethics. The perfomance team members naturally practice hard to perfection. Soomin wasn't showing enough effort. Chanbin has the right to be upset. He's in the lower ranks and has everything to lose, of course he's upset at Soomin. Soomin is nice and popular and usually thoughtful but I hope he puts more effort into dancing since he wants to an idol.

I get that he is mad but that is no way settle things. Y’all need to sit down and talk about it until everything that needs to be said is out then get back to working hard. Having watched a lot of survival shows myself, the teams that don’t resolve their problem and bottle it up always do poorly. Any negative tension is apparent in how your teams chemistry is on stage.
I know Chanbin from another survival show many years ago. He was like a little kid before but now he totally turn into a man. He is kind, very hard working and of course he was a good leader if you have watched the full episode you will def agree. I'm so proud with him. Although he may be eliminated on the next episode, but I'll still supporting him.

i knew it, soomin will drag this team down, and i saw previous episodes of when they perf w/ his rap team.. he has no effort in dancing.. he is just relaxed/chill type of trainee because he knows that he's in the rank and will not be eliminated..
I'm not hating on soomin, but I'm really really disappointed on him. If you watched the full episode, you would understand why chanbin got really mad. If I were him I would have gotten even more emotional. Chanbin was being patient enough, it's just natural that he finally exploded. The team knew about soomin's injury, they had been understanding about it that's why they adjusted the dance for 5 persons. But what soomin said to the trainers was different, he said that he would try his best to dance, that he already said to the team he would try. Even I was in disbelief. I think soomin wasn't in a position to give more explanation. He should have just apologized and prove his team that he would work hard to catch up. In the end he ruined the performance. I feel really bad for the team, especially for chanbin because he's probably eliminated now.
on point, those viewers who were not able to see the whole program will not understand the matter. we love the boys, i myself is rooting for soomin, but sometimes he is not in his A GAME which disappoints me a lot.
Late but. Here's my catch. I didn't like soomin from the start. That v 1st appearance of his wearing flip flop and whatnot. It high-key felt like he was mocking the rest. Things he said like he doesn't need to prep just cuz he was already popular... (Not his exact words but the vibe he gave added on to That) That was the biggest nono for me. Not a single ounce of respect in him from the start, it baffled me during that time how he was constantly getting such high ranks despite his complacent and selfish attitude. N when this incident happened, guess what's the first thing I said to my friend? "I told you."

To all who didn t watch under nineteen ep 11: Soo min told the members the day before that he can't dance bc of his injured leg so they changed the dance from 6 members to 5 but the next day when they were about to show their improvements to the dance director he said he can dance and so they were disappointed bc he didn t discuss with them his new choice so it s normal if the leader was angry and exploses he was really disappointed over soo min. Me too i m a little bit disappointed since he is one of the trainees that i wanted to debut but i can understand how the leader was feeling. Soo min is really kind and gentle, and he is older than the leader, so sincerly i m still trying to understand his reaction like why he cursed and went out the room. But i think it something normal for teenagers to curse and get angry. I hope they get along in the next episode, i don t want them to be angry toward each other.
I thought soomin would understand and say “I’ll try harder” but nope he cursed and left the room When he cursed I feel like he didn’t care about the lecture and is going to brush it off, and think the leader is exaggerating. cho soomin leg is not yet healed but because of this a lot of trainees are compensating. I commend the efforts of chanbin his been an underdog of this program and pointing what upsets the whole group and misunderstandings was a good thing. We cannot blame them wirh their feelings. I loved Choi soomin but sometimes he needs to step up the A game,like jinseok overcoming his weakness.

I'm going to be completely honest here... *This honestly broke my heart into a million pieces.* Chanbin was obviously done with Soomin's two-faced behavior. I feel bad since he's a lower-ranked trainee and he wanted to win so badly to get a higher rank. The way he reacted, as a leader, it was only natural. He bottled up how he really felt for so long, so it's normal for leaders to get angry like this, plus the fact that he's a lower-ranked trainee. But really... I thought that I would never say this in my entire life, but: *I'm absolutely disappointed and furious at the way Soomin acted in the recent episode.* I felt like Soomin was being so careless about the performance. I just felt like he seriously doesn't want to be an idol, or that he isn't serious in becoming one. He wasn't being at all considerate about his team and his members. He also wasn't responsible in the choices he made. I'm just so disappointed in the kid because he is one of my absolute favorite trainees, and he will always be. I just wish he thought about his choices more and walked towards the right one rather than walk towards the wrong one. But, the counterclaim is that... Soomin is definitely a hardworking person. He's a songwriter, he can produce his own music, he's both a rapper and a singer, he already has his own songs on Soundcloud. He's also one of the sweetest trainees on Under Nineteen. Being a viewer who has been there since the first episode aired... I will tell you without any hesitation that he is probably one of the sweetest and kindest trainees out there in this survival show. The fact that you observe Soomin so well and the fact that you acknowledge both the good and bad things about him... *I respect that and I respect you.* Honestly, Soomin wasn't his best at all in the recent episode. I was about to cry during this argument between him and Chanbin. The way Chanbin yelled at him; you could tell that he was so done of all the nonsense and all of Soomin's ridiculous crap. What made me turn on the waterworks was the way Chanbin called Soomin, "Hyung." Yeah, I know, it's a respectful thing in Korea, duh. But, the tone of his voice when he called him hyung. He use the word of '더블링' which mean 'Doubling', I don't know how to explain this word in english, but in Korea, Doubling mean two people sing the same part together. *He was definitely not asking Sungho to help him to memorize the lyrics* . Jinseok have a worse condition during that time, but he tried his best to sing, he is responsible for his words thats why the members understands him even if he almost did not show up in their practice.
Especially when it is about Jinseok, it will be no problem, because he is obedience. When other members want his part, "I'm ok". When the trainer want him to do things, he will do it. Cause he don't want to hurts others but sometimes other people will take all the benefits from him.
Tbh, out of all 6 trainees in this team, the 2 Chanbins have high possibility to be eliminated bcos they aren't doing well with ranking, unlike the other 4 trainees. Chanbin had the right to be upset bcos a member didn't really put an effort for this mission. He felt burdened bcos except for Jongwon, the other 4 are considered weak in dancing. Soomin really doesn't show enough effort; from being lazy during practices since the beginning of the show to forgetting lyrics during the real stages. Seriously his high ranking is undeserving.

Ben Tea Yeah same, he messed up during the rehearsal but it ended up being someone else who messed up on the rap during the actual performance. I didn’t watch the full episodes, only the cuts so I’m not seeing the full picture of what’s going on but he doesn’t seem that bad, just awkward. But I don’t mind the other guy lecturing him either, sometimes people need that motivation or push to get them to snap out and realize that this is a competition where everyone in the groups chances of debuting are at stake.

Soomin was wrong but i believe he had some reasons behind . Everyone is not perfect and we make mistakes knowingly and unknowingly . I Hope & wish he gets lots of love despite of his mistakes . Because of his mistake lets not look down on him because we know ...., we know ourselves that we have made way more mistakes than his 1-2 mistakes. Imsuienla Lkr But he didn't really show enough effort since the 1st mission. He likes to bluff but not put into action. He burdened his own team members, not just in this team but in previous teams for other missions too. We get it that he injured, but we can clearly see from the episodes if he really can't do well bcos of his injury or just being laid back/lazy.

yes a good leader should have two ways of communication. and it was what chanbin was doing before he got angry. soomin already said the day before that he probably wouldn't be able to stand on stage because of his legs so the team had to re arrange the formation into a 5 person formation. chanbin accepted his worry and re arrange the formation. but in front of the trainers, chanbin said that he had told the team the day before that he already told them that he will do it(the dance). which is the complete opposite of what he's saying the day before to his team mates. Chanbin might be in the wrong for shouting loudly and not controlling his temper for Soomin is his hyung and i do know that the hierarchy about age in Korea is a big thing. I also do think that Soomin did the right thing by telling them to quickly change the formation now instead of later because he wasn't sure that he can stand on stage, and it will be a way more mess if he said that he can't dance just a minute before the performance. Guys, Chanbin is mad not because of Soomin didn't put in enough effort nor he can't dance. It is actually him is being a two face in front of the trainer and before meeting the trainer. His words changes.
At first, Soomin told the members that he can't perform, then they listened to him and even changed the formation (basically Soomin just rap and leave the stage and come back again like the 'HER' stage) due to his injury. Then suddenly when the trainer disagree about how the things went, he immediately tell the trainer that he told the members yesterday that he will still try to dance. The group members are kind enough to not expose him in front of the trainer. However, the group members already spent time practicing the five man formation for nothing. That's why the leader and other members are so frustrated.
Soomin is irresponsible for his words and did not put himself in the members' shoes. He make the members wait for him during practice and did not turn up until later saying he can't perform. He even make careless mistakes not only during the performance and also in the rehearsal, so the team loses.
(PS: I saw people commenting "Chanbin is mad because Soomin can't dance", that's not true at all. So, hope this comment cleared up the confusion.)

It's the difference in ethics. The perfomance team members naturally practice hard to perfection. Soomin wasn't showing enough effort. Chanbin has the right to be upset. He's in the lower ranks and has everything to lose, of course he's upset at Soomin. Soomin is nice and popular and usually thoughtful but I hope he puts more effort into dancing since he wants to an idol.

I get that he is mad but that is no way settle things. Y’all need to sit down and talk about it until everything that needs to be said is out then get back to working hard. Having watched a lot of survival shows myself, the teams that don’t resolve their problem and bottle it up always do poorly. Any negative tension is apparent in how your teams chemistry is on stage.

I know Chanbin from another survival show many years ago. He was like a little kid before but now he totally turn into a man. He is kind, very hard working and of course he was a good leader if you have watched the full episode you will def agree. I'm so proud with him. i knew it, soomin will drag this team down, and i saw previous episodes of when they perf w/ his rap team.. he has no effort in dancing.. he is just relaxed/chill type of trainee because he knows that he's in the rank and will not be eliminated..
I'm not hating on soomin, but I'm really really disappointed on him. If you watched the full episode, you would understand why chanbin got really mad. If I were him I would have gotten even more emotional. Chanbin was being patient enough, it's just natural that he finally exploded. The team knew about soomin's injury, they had been understanding about it that's why they adjusted the dance for 5 persons. But what soomin said to the trainers was different, he said that he would try his best to dance, that he already said to the team he would try. Even I was in disbelief. I think soomin wasn't in a position to give more explanation. He should have just apologized and prove his team that he would work hard to catch up. In the end he ruined the performance. I feel really bad for the team, especially for chanbin because he's probably eliminated now.

Late but. Here's my catch. I didn't like soomin from the start. That v 1st appearance of his wearing flip flop and whatnot. It high-key felt like he was mocking the rest. Things he said like he doesn't need to prep just cuz he was already popular... (Not his exact words but the vibe he gave added on to That) That was the biggest nono for me. Not a single ounce of respect in him from the start, it baffled me during that time how he was constantly getting such high ranks despite his complacent and selfish attitude. N when this incident happened, guess what's the first thing I said to my friend? "I told you."

Soo min told the members the day before that he can't dance bc of his injured leg so they changed the dance from 6 members to 5 but the next day when they were about to show their improvements to the dance director he said he can dance and so they were disappointed bc he didn t discuss with them his new choice so it s normal if the leader was angry and exploses he was really disappointed over soo min. Me too i m a little bit disappointed since he is one of the trainees that i wanted to debut but i can understand how the leader was feeling. Soo min is really kind and gentle, and he is older than the leader, so sincerly i m still trying to understand his reaction like why he cursed and went out the room. But i think it something normal for teenagers to curse and get angry. I hope they get along in the next episode, i don t want them to be angry toward each other.

cho soomin leg is not yet healed but because of this a lot of trainees are compensating. I commend the efforts of chanbin his been an underdog of this program and pointing what upsets the whole group and misunderstandings was a good thing. We cannot blame them wirh their feelings. Chanbin was obviously done with Soomin's two-faced behavior. I feel bad since he's a lower-ranked trainee and he wanted to win so badly to get a higher rank. The way he reacted, as a leader, it was only natural. He bottled up how he really felt for so long, so it's normal for leaders to get angry like this, plus the fact that he's a lower-ranked trainee.
But really... I thought that I would never say this in my entire life, but:
*I'm absolutely disappointed and furious at the way Soomin acted in the recent episode.*
I felt like Soomin was being so careless about the performance. I just felt like he seriously doesn't want to be an idol, or that he isn't serious in becoming one. He wasn't being at all considerate about his team and his members. He also wasn't responsible in the choices he made.
I'm just so disappointed in the kid because he is one of my absolute favorite trainees, and he will always be. I just wish he thought about his choices more and walked towards the right one rather than walk towards the wrong one.
But, the counterclaim is that...
Soomin is definitely a hardworking person. He's a songwriter, he can produce his own music, he's both a rapper and a singer, he already has his own songs on Soundcloud. He's also one of the sweetest trainees on Under Nineteen. Being a viewer who has been there since the first episode aired... I will tell you without any hesitation that he is probably one of the sweetest and kindest trainees out there in this survival show. He's awkward in a good way, he acts adorable, he's sincere, and he's kind.
*But, he didn't show that at all in the recent episode.*
However, like I said before, Soomin isn't always like that. He's usually hardworking and dedicated. He's usually being really sweet and doing dumb but cool things with his members. You know what the hell I call this?
*Being a decent human being.*
Now, we all know that you've made major mistakes during major events and such. You've been in a situation where you had to choose, but you end up choosing the wrong choice. Come on, admit it. I've been there and done that.
I'm sure, one million percent sure, that Soomin regrets it so much. I'm a mllion percent sure that he wishes he did better, that he regrets not working hard enough, that he wishes he did better on behalf of his members.

Soomin was the first trainee that I fell for when I watched Under Nineteen for the first time. He's a hard worker, he's definitely sincere, he's absolutely kind as well...

Honestly, Soomin wasn't his best at all in the recent episode. I was about to cry during this argument between him and Chanbin. The way Chanbin yelled at him; you could tell that he was so done of all the nonsense and all of Soomin's ridiculous crap.
What made me turn on the waterworks was the way Chanbin called Soomin, "Hyung." Yeah, I know, it's a respectful thing in Korea, duh. But, the tone of his voice when he called him hyung.
You could tell that he doesn't want to deal with it anymore. He doesn't want to deal with Soomin's excuses, his nonsense reasons, and his explaination.
I respect Chanbin, especially being younger than Soomin. I'm glad that he decided to release how he truly felt rather than hiding it because of the cameras.

He use the word of '더블링' which mean 'Doubling', I don't know how to explain this word in english, but in Korea, Doubling mean two people sing the same part together. *He was definitely not asking Sungho to help him to memorize the lyrics* . Beside that, Sungho did 'Doubling' with Soomin on the stage, which is the part that Soomin forgot the lyrics. Sungho have sang few words of lyrics on Soomin's part. Tbh, out of all 6 trainees in this team, the 2 Chanbins have high possibility to be eliminated bcos they aren't doing well with ranking, unlike the other 4 trainees. Chanbin had the right to be upset bcos a member didn't really put an effort for this mission. He felt burdened bcos except for Jongwon, the other 4 are considered weak in dancing.
Soomin really doesn't show enough effort; from being lazy during practices since the beginning of the show to forgetting lyrics during the real stages. Seriously his high ranking is undeserving.

Yo soomin was ranked at the top each time when he didn't even put as much effort as the others. That's bc people liked his personality, looks, and aura he's a pretty chill guy. And good rapper. But he lacks in so many ways I actually think other rappers were better than him but they aren't as good looking so they left. But I still like soomin he just needs to try more

I didn’t watch the full episodes, only the cuts so I’m not seeing the full picture of what’s going on but he doesn’t seem that bad, just awkward. But I don’t mind the other guy lecturing him either, sometimes people need that motivation or push to get them to snap out and realize that this is a competition where everyone in the groups chances of debuting are at stake.

Everyone is not perfect and we make mistakes knowingly and unknowingly . I Hope & wish he gets lots of love despite of his mistakes . Because of his mistake lets not look down on him because we know ...., we know ourselves that we have made way more mistakes than his 1-2 mistakes. What I see is chanbin had kept everything inside for days and finally let them out all in once in this scene. He's respectful enough, he didn't even curse. If I were in his shoes, I would have gone really really mad tho.
Changbin did the rt thing to soomin. Soomin shd get scold at a lot. He is irresponsible and careless. Why he said he can't dance at firstcz his leg injury so they did all the formation for five member and nw when dance trainee came then he said he can do his best. Basically he is wasting time. Why he do that when the performance is rt in the corner. Obviously Changbin got mad Changbin had to fight with life and death cz he is in lower rank. If I were Changbin I would also did the same thing.
yes a good leader should have two ways of communication. and it was what chanbin was doing before he got angry. soomin already said the day before that he probably wouldn't be able to stand on stage because of his legs so the team had to re arrange the formation into a 5 person formation. chanbin accepted his worry and re arrange the formation. but in front of the trainers, chanbin said that he had told the team the day before that he already told them that he will do it(the dance). which is the complete opposite of what he's saying the day before to his team mates. Chanbin might be in the wrong for shouting loudly and not controlling his temper for Soomin is his hyung and i do know that the hierarchy about age in Korea is a big thing. I also do think that Soomin did the right thing by telling them to quickly change the formation now instead of later because he wasn't sure that he can stand on stage, and it will be a way more mess if he said that he can't dance just a minute before the performance. But he said the complete opposite in front of the trainers and tell them that he had tell the members that he wanted to do it(dance). Chanbin shouldn't shout and lose his temper but Soomin shouldn't talk differently in front of the members and the trainers making him appear two faced. And the fact that he left the room cursing just shows that he has no respect for his younger members team either. So in my opinion, Soomin should also give chanbin a little little little bit of respect, not much
