The fridge logic kicked in for me when I was questing through happily, chatting to NPC's and such and then it suddenly struck me that most of these Draenei I'm seeing and talking to most probably make up at least some of the bones in the Hellfire Peninsula's Path of Glory in our universe. Then I felt sick for a few moments and this music really added the atmosphere to that. Hauntingly beautiful.
The same happened to me, is a very beatiful place with a horrible future
that's the bittersweet part of this expansion, you save them here, but you know that in our timeline, they were needlessly slaughtered due to manipulation.
The best part of this expansion was the chance to go back and change things. Despite a parallel reality being created, we still brought so many people back and saved this beautiful place from annihilation. I’m planning on going back to replay this whole story and take my time with it instead of rushing to level up. I’d be curious to see the state of Azeroth in that timeline.

I have played since cata and no other expansion has ever captured me like WoD the beauty of the world, the questing, the music, the storylines, the garrison, no matter what people say this is my fav expansion, sometimes I go near the temple of karabor and sit for awhile just to enjoy this masterpiece

...I think i have spent more then enough time in the shadowmoon valley than i should, got out of there with lvl 93 and long after i finished all the quests there. Reason for that: Garrison. A really good feature to add to the game. Can't wait to get it up to lvl 3...Because honestly, this got me so much, i almost forgot that there are other Zones in Draenor! ...and well the garrison was unplayable sometimes on my server, so yeah that's another reason, why i was stuck in there so long xD

The first song which plays, coupled with the imagery of the zone really captures me. Blizzard should do more with the incredible world they're building (more books, an expanded film roster and more games). The Warcraft world is so brilliantly crafted; it just feels like such a waste to have it represented by constantly complained-about expansions.
Shadowmoon Valley always felt like a giant marathon race to me. It wasn't so much that you're trying to rush through it, it just seemed that as soon as you finished one thing, another thing would come up demanding your immediate attention. I really liked how it pushed you to keep up a steady pace. Questing was a very enjoyable experience in WoD, but I haven't touched the game for over a year because of the way end content has been handled. At least this music is a tribute to my nostalgia for loving this game for more than ten years.
Interesting. My mental approach was more like "Cool, I have tons of stuff to do, I can just chill and take my time. Do this, do that, gain exp from it all". It never really felt "rushed" for me.
"Immediate attention?" There are no real life emergencies here. You can take as much time as you want. Nothing in a game should require "immediate attention."

Listen to the music starting at 3:10 during the final stages of the BM hunter spirit beast quest (the one that gets you Ga'ra) or after you completed it, and guarantee you will cry.

458 + my like for 459 and 0 dislikes. That’s how beautiful this music is. I don’t play wow anymore but find much of its music fits the real world just as well depending on your location and the weather.
Best music from MOP I've heard so far. Not saying the others were not good, it's just this feels very unique.

I love this music, when I was leveling through this area on my dk the entire area was beautiful, Instead of the dark wasteland it becomes (in bc) but to be able to see it before all of the corruption was breath taking

One of my favourite zones ever music wise. Nostalgia comes to mind especially 05:59 love it! So meditative 😍
Great music but I cannot find the track I am looking for. Yesterday I went to Moonwillow Peak to do a quest and this track started...it was pure bliss. I had to stop and listen. I always liked Draenei-themed music but this was way beyond that.
It was male and female chorus, going and singing over each other...incredible...almost like Gregorian church music. Before that there was some sort of slow piano solo. My favorite track in WoW without a doubt...too bad you can't get that for garrison music. But even worse I cannot find it anywhere as well.

I feel the same since Cataclysm. MOP had it better sometimes but still far from the level of Classic/TBC/WOTLK.

It's kind of laughable to suggest that music from Classic is better than anything from any of the expansions.
I guess you did not understood I used the phrase "I feel" which suggests subjective opinion.
You do realize that the outlands music is meant to represent a torn world floating in the middle of the wacraft equivalent of space right? Do you want "space ambient" music in a lush, healthy world? Also, what in the world is "emo epic" supposed to mean?
I'm wondering if it is possible to find the music that was played when Prophet Velen sacrificed himself to rejuvenate that Naaru in the Shadowmoon Cinematic.

Natalie Carcamo This music isn't included or available on any soundtrack, it is taken directly from the game-files. And the name of that music-file is what I wrote. =)
Natalie Carcamo It's not possible to recognize it, since Blizzard makes that. It's their own orchestra playing it, so probably its sampled from few other tracks - still different, or just a new track made by their music designers.

I think 08:37 is some sort of Goblin related theme but I'm not sure which one. It sounds vaguely familiar to some parts of the starting zone theme.

There's a part of the Shadowmoon Valley soundtrack i can't seem to find. It plays when the player is in Nightmarsh and it sounds a bit like 17:40 . I can't find it anywhere, is it even in the files?
