- In this video we mount the 3Drobotics pixhawk autopilot system on the Tarot 650 frame and connects up the sensors. In this video series we build the Tarot Ironman 650 quadcopter frame. Next videos we begin installing the electronics and the 3D robotics pixhawk autopilot system. All in all it seems a very good quality frame. This quadcopter should be used for mapping/photographing fields (with crop) from above. We'll see how that unfolds soon. Stay tuned and subscribe!

Great vids. I just recent finished my 650, but off the Naza system. I like the Pixhawk for my next one. That tiny thing is your power distribution board? Will it hold all that amperage from your motors?
Yes it will. That's just the power module for the pixhawk i just directly mounted the ESCs to. Don't worry, it will be all right :-)

I believe only the Sport version of the 650 frame is.

XboxorMat Well, at least I hope you are, if not this video is a bit incriminating. 433MHz by the ITU is for licensed use only and not to be used for any unlicensed purpose unless you have an emergency situation and have no other means of communications. I am currently building a tarot ironman 650 with tarot 4114 320kv motors with pixhawkp4 fc with tarot 1555 folding propeller clips15.5 propellers they are so light and the way they fold up is great! I am only using a sony 700board camera and a tarot gimbal with a gopro. I think this thing will be a powerhouse its so light and the tarot 4114 320 kv motors have a lot of power and are vibration free I always use tmotors but to be honest theses run just as smooth I hope they hold up as long and build quality looks excellent!. I purchased mine from banggood.com and I wasissing 1 motor the landing gear folding gps mount I set of tarot 1555 folding propeller clips set with propellers and 1 meter of wire and banggood asks me to take picture of missing parts? kinda hard to do,i am glad that I opened up the package in front of postman so I have him as a witness but I ordered 2 black and 2 orange and get 3 black!. I am tired of theses companies asking for impossible stuff to get what you pay for! I was told everything was ordered from there U.S. WAREHOUSE BUT IT ALL CAME FROM CHINA AND HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO TAKE PICTURE OF ITEMS THAT YOU DID NOT GET? ALSO IT CAME IN A BROWN CARDBOARD BOX I EMAILED TAROT AND SHOWED THEM WHAT THERE QUAD CAME IN AND WAS TOLD THEY ALWAYS COME IN A FULL COLORED BOX AND I DIDNT EVEN HAVE AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL SO I MIGHT ALSO BE MISSING SOME FASTENERS!! ALL I WANT IS WHAT I PAID FOR!!!. ONCE I GET EVERYTHING I AM GOING TO DO A COMPLETE BUILD VIDEO SERIES I AM ALSO USING A TARANIS PLUS TX WITH THE PIXHAWK FC!. I JUST NEED BANGGOOD TO SEND ME MY MISSING ITEMS!!! WISH ME LUCK? I ORDERED FROM THEM BEFORE AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY ARE AT HANDELING MISTAKES? I USED PAYPAL AND A VISA CREDITCARD SO I SHOULD BE FINE!!!
david ringler That sucks, i am sorry to hear that. I have never bought anything from banggood because i never found them trustworthy which your experience is a good example of. Can't you take a picture of what you got instead and point out what you are missing according to the invoice?
yes, that is what I am doing but when I talk to them on there live chat they are complete idiots!!! and it is just not a language thing theses usualy women have no clue what they are even selling even there techs are clueless!!. they paypal asked me how much money I wanted refunded! I don't want a refund but I looked and to buy the tarot landing gear itself it costs as much as the whole quad about 22.00usd less the tarot electric retracts are cheaper than the stock ironman landing gear!!. I want the landing gear that comes with the kit and the parts I am missing and the manual!! I mean they can ship me the missing landing gear and manual and refund me for the other missing items tarot 4114 320kv motor -folding gps stand 1 set of tarot 1555 folding propeller clip set with props and 1 16 awg wire and battery tray!. to me it seems like they had this quad as there demo for pics sitting around lost the original box and just took it apart because some of the parts were put together and shouldn't have been so I was actualy paid for a new quad and got there demo, now to me once something is taken out of its factory box it is no longer new!! so in my eyes they pulled a theft by deception .tarot said all there T165B01 quadcopters come in a blue colored box nicely printed with full item description, all I got is a plain brown box. now in my eyes that's wrong! if they wanted to say demo or box damaged item that's different but it stated new and people sent in pics of there same quad they got from banggood and everyone that showed the box in pic were all nice blue printed nice tarot boxes,so I paid for a new item that somehow got its box damaged which means in retail that it can not be listed or sold as new!.i love all your videos if I have any questions is it ok to ask you?also thank you very, very much so far for all your input it means a lot!!! david ringler That is really bad customer service to say the least. Write to paypal and say you want a full refund of the complete order because you didn't receive what you ordered and some of the items that you did receive were damaged. Then go to another trusted site like Robotshop.com, hobbyking or any other hobbyshop and buy the rest of the stuff there. That only seems fair.
