    Awesome!
So what do you always imagine the volume difference between kick and bass (TOP) to be?

The top bass has more perceived volume so I have it quieter, but the amount depends on the bass. I just do it by ear until I think it's balanced right

Do you resample the consolidated bass afterwords when covering the rest of the song's bassline, or do you just cover the entire bass part and then consolidate the whole thing?

If I have to consolidate the mid bass for any reason then I will bounce the entire bassline down and pick the best sounding instance of it to use in the track.
I find the nuance of how the layered bass reacts to different notes out of the synths is usually cleaner and sounds better than resampling.
