The Kamlift could be quite practical to dispatch for light duties to multiple job sites as it is essentially a road legal forklift. It may need some extra counterweights at the front of the truck cab while working as a forklift.
@daviddonoghue..The Leyland Gas Turbine tractor unit is alive and well.Beautifully restored and ownded by Knowles Transport(Wimblington ..Cambridgeshire UK..)
The Ram 4500 and 5500 are not "pickup trucks", which means trucks with an open cargo bed. The examples at the beginning of the segment are not pickups - they are flat-beds. They are medium-duty chassis-cabs, on which any desired rear body is added. The silly example in the video is a Ram 4500 which has been made into a pickup truck, by adding the pickup box. You can make a pickup out of any truck, by installing a box. The regular cab Ram 4500 is available with a wheelbase up to 5,194 mm (204.5 in); no wheelbase stretch is necessary to get the 205" wheelbase of the silly custom pickup, although the end of the frame would need to be extended to support the rear part of the box.
I have heard about the engine. As long as the load was constant, the fuel consumption was actually moderate, but when the truck needed to accelerate, the consumption rose dramatically. And of course it was NOISY.
they should of gone diesel electric, and just ran the turbine at constant speed and controlled the truck speed by varying the voltage to the electric motors
why is the purpose of this elongated pickup truck? a standard truk is more versatile and it avaible in 4x4 or 6x6 even 8x8 are easily avaible with length over 10 meters and engines over 10 liters this thing is totally useless (look at my pickup, it's longer than yours) an unimog is way more versatile, powerful and useful than this thing and not more expensive
The purpose is just to be longer than anyone else's pickup truck. Some people in that region are extremely wealthy, and like to build outlandishly large vehicles to get attention. Yes, it is functionally useless.

La frase más necia que un ser humano puede decir es: "Ya está todo inventado"...

Kamalift looks like it could use a bit more weight in the front or slightly longer chassis to offset the weight

An assemblage of pipedreams.
ah yes replace more jobs with robots... SMH what happens when it malfunctions (like catching on fire) or get hacked
That ugly rider truck still looks better than a tesla .
Autonomous junk just means another human doesn’t have a job
How fittingly as the voice of this channel is also a robot...
