Thank you! I'm not very well versed in archviz to be honest, sorry! Chocofur has quality content, so maybe a subscription might be worth it, but I haven't checked out his tutorials.
Hmm that's a good one! Never really thought about it that way. I consult it sparsely, just to find a single thing. But yeah documentation is very important for helping people learn now that you mention it!
What I find hard about blender, I understand what everything does, minus sculpting and rigging, I guess animation as well, I just can't get that same professional result like I see in these tutorials. I try to do my own projects, but it just doesn't come out well. Should I focus on a specific field like Geo Nodes or HSM instead of trying to understand everything?
There’s this universal principle that people like to call “understand just enough”. That means just trying to get a good understanding of the basics/fundamentals on every field. After that, you can create some projects applying all those basics and then deciding from there what specific field you wanna dive deeper into. Remember that no single person will ever be good at every field. Sooner or later, you will still need to find your niche, but to be able to do that, you need to understand ALL the fundamentals in every field. Hope that helps!
Also, join blender communities and ask for feedback. That is one of the best ways to improve your work. Do not be the judge of your own work as we tend to be biased towards our own works.
Yeah it can be hard. I agree with the comments below, but my main advice is; it takes time. You have to develop a sense of how to make things look good. Almost no-one had this from the get go. Give it time, keep on creating and you’ll get there. The course, tutorials etc are all done by pro’s with tons of experience and they have developed that ‘eye’ for what looks good, just like you can!
Hey, your tutorials are great! C4D designer here! I've used so much with C4D, but I see how blender is not that hard, I was wondering about the RENDER. With Redshift I got VERY fast render times...my question is how you guys render?
Thank you! Good to see people from C4D also watch my stuff :-) To asnwer your questions; rendering in Blender is done via one of two of Blender's Built-in render engines. There's Cycles, a Path Tracing render engine, just like Redshift, which can either take ages to render or be quite fast, depending on your settings and most of all your PC hardware and then there's the EEVEE engine, which is a realtime engine. It requires more tweaking to get the result you want visually, but it's super fast and can generate pretty lifelike images if you know what you're doing with almost realtime render speeds! Hope this helps :-)
I started HUMAN course in summer 2022 but at one point it turned out to be too much for my pc to handle. Now I got a brand new high end pc and am planning to finish, it is a really great course for intermediate blender users.
Awesome! Yeah those human sculpts require a lot of poly's and texture detail. Quite heavy on your PC! Glad to hear you've got an upgrade and can finish it now, good luck!
Bro, what should be a very decent spec for stuffs in blender from good particle handling (something like sprinkles on donut to mosses and ferns) to decent render viewport
My setup isn't perfect, but it handles most situations just fine. I work with a Ryzen 3700X, NVIDIA RTX 3070Ti, 32GB RAM and an AORUS ELITE X570. If anything I'd add more RAM, to something like 64 or even 128GB RAM. That would be the biggest improvement for me now I think!

I have this question. I want to be able to turn a photograph into an animation...meaning let's say I take a picture of myself, and turn that picture into something like a cartoon character, but still looking like myself? No oversize eyes or any of that, take pictures of humans, and backgrounds and turn them into anima or cartoon like characters. Would any of these courses do that?
Have you taken the cubic worlds course ? If so do you think it would be useful knowledge to have even outside of the cubic worlds universe ? I've never bought a course before but I am hesitating between the cubic worlds course and master environments by cg boost Great video btw
The two courses are actually quite different, so first of all I'd say what is your goal; do you want to become better at creating environments, or do you want to become better at Blender in general? The Cubic Worlds course is definitely useful outside of the course itself, as it teaches a LOT of fundamentals. Yes they're all applied using the Cubic Worlds style, but the knowledge is applicable elsewhere. All the basics are covered, and things like shading, compositing and animation are all also touched on. The Environment course is much more specified. It teaches you things about shading for landscapes, material displacement (geared towards landscapes), material blending, camera animation etc. A lot of this is also shown in the Cubic Worlds course, just in a way less specified manner. So it all boils down to what you want to learn most and what you want to use the course for! Hope that helps :-)
Hello, I was wondering if I do like most of these courses to a 100% and really understand what they are teaching I whould be like close to a high level of 3D graphic designing ? And second question is all those courses a per month payment or a 1 time purchase ?
Hi! If you do follow all these courses, apply what you've learned and fully understand what's been taught, then yes you will probably have a high level understanding of 3D and it's fundamentals. However getting a true feel for things will always take time, no matter the amount of courses or tutorials you do. Developing a 'design' mind and style is something that comes with the years! But these courses will absolutely help get you there much faster than without courses. These are all one time purchase courses (so no monthly subscription) and in the case of CG Boost also include any and all updates in the future.
@@KaizenTutorials Thank you. You are very helpful I can see you really care about your subscribers because when I scroll down the comment section I see you reply to everyone, really worth a sub😁
Hello I am a medical student who is interested at looking into blender to make educational videos for teaching resident doctors and the public ..like infographic video or animated videos. What hardware (laptop specs) and what courses would suit me best - having zero exposure prior?
Hmm I think infographics are best done in other softwares such as After effects, but yeah you could do infographics. I would just try and learn the basics of Blender and animation, using a beginner course like the launch pad or cubic worlds. These will teach you what you need. They won't be specified, so you'll have to apply evertyhing yourself to get the things you wish to make. But they'll help for sure! In regards to specs; any decent new age laptop with an RTX card and 16+GB RAM will do fine for most usecases.
So I’m wanting to make car models that can be used in game. I would assume the blender bros hard surface game assets course, but is there any other course u would say I need as well?
Blender bros is definitely a good one! Honestly car modeling boils down to two things; modeling and rigging. So I would check out some courses on rigging!
Is there an app for these courses where everything is organised and i m from India so what about payment options and what about those apps, will it work or do I have to use a vpn for them to work? There are so many questions 😢
Most of these courses are provided through online platforms and so work perfectly fine from wherever you're located. In regards to payments I'm not sure; but I think most offer PayPal or Creditcard as a payment option so it should be fine as well!
If you want to be a pro, you need hours and hours of practice, not because you take a course your going to be a super pro and ready for the industry xD
with all due respect to you but it is ridiculous how none of these youtube videos suggest cgfasttrack while it is clearly the best and most in-depth course out there by an actual 3D Professor

*my passion for blender exists
My 2GB ram PC 👀
Awh damn :-( 2GB and Blender aren't very good friends...
the only issue is studios still use Maya
No they're not? Atleast not afaik. I can't imagine them not using solely Blender for everything to be honest!
Hello
I am a medical student who is interested at looking into blender to make educational videos for teaching resident doctors and the public ..like infographic video or animated videos.
I was hoping to sign-up for the Master Grease Pencil course, but it looks like the coupon code is invalid. :( Any new promo's coming up?
Dang then I guess all the spots got filled! I'm not sure if there will be any future promo's coming up, sorry!
Can i mixing unreal engine with blender?
Yep, you sure can. Just have to export your assets and bake textures, but they can be combined perfectly for animations/games.
My wallet cries out
Haha I feel you, but they're all well worth the investment!
Is cg boost paid tutorials?
CG Boost provides high quality, paid, courses. They're YT channel offers free tutorials ofcourse, but their courses are all paid.
Whats the course on the thumbnail? Ive seen that car somewhere
It's a car model by Clayton Sjoerdsma
So I’m wanting to make car models that can be used in game. I would assume the blender bros hard surface game assets course, but is there any other course u would say I need as well?
Blender bros is definitely a good one! Honestly car modeling boils down to two things; modeling and rigging. So I would check out some courses on rigging!
Can you tell me your pc specifications?
Ryzen 3700X, RTX 3070Ti 8GB, 32GB RAM, AORUS Elite X570
did you watche these courses ?, if anyone attended these courses plz tell us if they worth it ?
I have seen and read in depth most of them, and I took several of them. I can guarantee they’re all worth it!
@@KaizenTutorials thank you sir.
What will be best for ar vr?
Hmm I don’t know any courses related to that! Im releasing a simple tutorial about AR on monday though!
is i relevant to learn human sculpting as unreal's metahuman gives u customised realistic human 3d models ?
In a sense, maybe no. But i think in the end getting a character to 100% as you want will always require manual work.
this is great old school tutorial :D dont know is it worth to start practice it in 2023... i think AI will do that very soon
You definitely should! I dont think AI will replace us anytime soon. Dont forget… its not all about speed and money. Work is also fun.
please review crossmind studio courses
I will if I ever do an update of this video!
It is so good to see my work is featuring on well known 3D artist RUclips channel. Thank you for giving me more inspiration. 🙂
Time: 4:22
Well done! Love the artwork.
how can i get the full course
Buy any of them theough the links in the description
Hi, will i get job in CG industry if i learn blender???
If you're good enough, yes absolutely!
All these courses are really good but if you're an absolute beginner, the donut tutorials by blender guru is best in my opinion
The Donut Series is amazing for beginners! But it's not really a course and doesn't go as in-depth as the beginner courses do!
Is there an app for these courses where everything is organised and i m from India so what about payment options and what about those apps, will it work or do I have to use a vpn for them to work?
There are so many questions 😢
Most of these courses are provided through online platforms and so work perfectly fine from wherever you're located. In regards to payments I'm not sure; but I think most offer PayPal or Creditcard as a payment option so it should be fine as well!
i prefer to learn from experience from the ground up
Fair enough!
If you want to be a pro, you need hours and hours of practice, not because you take a course your going to be a super pro and ready for the industry xD
Nope, but if you doa bunch of them and practice in between you'll get a long way there.
Hi i am from India
Hey! 👋🇮🇳
with all due respect to you
but it is ridiculous how none of these youtube videos suggest cgfasttrack while it is clearly the best and most in-depth course out there by an actual 3D Professor
I hear ya, but it's also a very well known course. I've seen literally hundreds of CGFasttrack results come by on the Blender subreddit, so I decided to not show it since most people already do know it!
What's the tutorial or render in the thumbnail?? I clicked on this video mainly to know that (or perhaps find a good tutorial on important aspects of it like lighting and car modelling), since it looks really nice at least at thumbnail scale.
The thubmnail is a render by Clayton Sjoerdsma. www.artstation.com/artwork/xRXVW
I'm from VietNam, so difficult to know all your language that you teach, i really want to lean cours but ..
Donut
🍩 = 👍🏻
❤️👏👍
I feel that in all the RUclips recommendations... they always go to the same artists, is this reliable? or is it people paying for advertising and there is more valuable information hidden on the internet?
A bit of both! The list of courses isn’t endless and not all of them are equal in quality.
Are all these courses free
No they're actually all paid!
My pc is very bad in rendering 😭😭
Sorry to hear that! I have some tutorials on how to help with that. So feel free to check those out and see if they can help you.
